I would definitely recommend this place to couples or solo travelers looking to stay in a truly unique setting—an actual historic palace that feels like stepping into a different era. The room was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy—so much so that you could easily sleep for days. There was a fresh, lovely scent of cleanliness that made the whole space feel extra inviting. One of the highlights was the charming little patio nestled in the heart of the palace—an absolute gem and perfect spot to unwind. Marcia was a fantastic host: warm, welcoming, and ready with wonderful recommendations to help us make the most of our time in the city. Highly recommended if you're looking for a memorable and elegant stay in a place full of character.

I was in Florence for studies and despite the need to stay only one night, I was completely satisfied. The Duomo room is really very nice, and I particularly appreciated the design; it also has all the essential amenities. The "automated" check-in and check-out system is really very effective, however, if you need the host is always available to the contacts that will be communicated. In addition, the location is also extremely convenient as the property is perfectly located in the center of some of the main places in Florence, such as Palazzo Vecchio, the Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Croce. I would therefore recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant stay in Florence.

This place is lovely. The location itself is beautiful, but even more impressive was the entire team there. Walter & everyone else was very welcoming & incredibly friendly & helpful. The restaurant is fantastic & the room very nice. Highly recommend all around!

Clean and good air conditioning. Not a lot to do in the town and the only way to get around is expensive taxis, but the stay at the hotel was wonderful.

A Memorable Stay ! I had the pleasure of spending a few days at this beautiful hotel. The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views. Whether you’re enjoying the view from the Pool, the room, or the garden, the scenery is simply spectacular. A highlight was the guided tour of the property, which gave us a deeper appreciation for its history. You can feel the passion and care that have gone into maintaining this place. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay – absolutely delicious, with many homemade items that made it extra special. Overall, this hotel exceeded all expectations, offering so much more than meets the eye. It’s the perfect place to relax, and take in the beauty of the surroundings. I can highly recommend it!

San Miniato is such a lovely village to visit, especially if you love good food and wine! Palazzo Essenza is the perfect place to stay, situated right in the square, close to everything, but also a peaceful place to spend a few days while you check out the local area. Antonio was super prompt with any queries and support, and the rooms are beautiful, well appointed and generously proportioned. I would highly recommend staying here.
