We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Nami’s house, especially with the view of Mount Fuji right outside the windows. Nami was very responsive and friendly. We’d recommend this house for future guests.

Close to a lot of restaurants in walking distance

The host was so lovely and gracious from the moment we booked to the very end of our stay. She is an amazing host and the house was simply the best air bnb we have stayed in Japan hands down. I’m truly grateful that during my trip to Shimoda, I had the chance to stay at such a wonderful guesthouse. The host was incredibly warm and attentive. Even though our schedules didn’t quite align, they remained tirelessly helpful through messages and made sure everything went smoothly. The house itself is even more beautiful than the photos—filled with the natural fragrance of cypress wood, surrounded by a peaceful and serene environment. All the amenities and toiletries provided were top-notch, and the space was impressively spacious: two bedrooms, each with two double beds, a large open-plan living and dining area, and even a private open-air onsen bath. I highly recommend staying here for 2–3 nights if you’re visiting Shimoda. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and fully enjoy the charm of this lovely town—and the warmth of a truly hospitable host.

Stefano’s place was clean, comfortable and functional. It is quiet, peaceful and has everything we needed. It was nice to wake up to views of rice fields and mountains. We like the bath tub that we could soak in after all the long hikes. The washer and dryer machine was very useful and convenient. Most of all, Stefano and his wife were so hospitable and helpful. My daughter was having some chest tightness at night and I was worried about finding medical help in the rural area. But both Stefano and his wife came down to our room to help us. Very grateful to have locals to give us advice in time of need. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Komagane. The ropeway is definitely a must-go, which is a convenient short drive from this airbnb.

Very nice host and tries to help you if you have a request or need help! Appartement is clean and there are 3 stations nearby. We were also able to use the electric bikes of the host :)

Everything was just as described, the place was nicely located away from the hustle but still convenient to get around to explore Tokyo and other areas. The apartment was comfortable for 2 people and equipped with everything you need. Hirohiko and his wife were friendly and helpful and always responded promptly to all our messages. They even gave us a little gift when we left. Highly recommended, thank you! 🙏

You won’t find a better place to stay at in Kawaguchiko. Dai was super helpful and check in was very easy. Great location and the booking included the use of their bikes so getting around was simple. My only regret is that I didn’t stay long enough. 10/10 would stay again!

Spacious, with easy access to a few bus stops. It’s also within walkable distance of other local landmarks.

Great place to stay right next to the train station. Beautiful views of Fuji right out the window. Many shops, cafes, restaurants, and points of interest within a few minutes walk. Stayed for two nights with my family and we had no issues at all. Don’t miss the Forest Music Museum!

1. You can walk to JR Nakagaku Station, about 20 minutes; there is also a bus stop at the homestay intersection (within five minutes on foot), about five minutes by bus to National Station. 2. It is about a 10-minute walk to the supermarket, and it is convenient to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. 3. Fully equipped in the homestay, smooth internet, kitchen: refrigerator, pots and pans, bathroom: toiletries, towels, bath towels, bedrooms: desks, lamps, hair dryers, hangers, hangers, hangers, etc., very convenient. 4. The host is kind, pick up and drop off by car to the homestay at the time of reservation, and it is very helpful to quickly understand the local area by car.

The apartment made accessing the lakes around fuji easy with a car. That being said, the fuji bus station is also nearby and that is also an option if driving is not an option for you. The apartment itself was really clean and had all the basic amenities. I am happy with my stay here :)

Lovely place. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Host was flexible with my check in time as I wasn’t sure what time I arrived til I got on the train. As it was raining on the day I left, host was kind enough to offer to drive me to train station as well as work out the train timetable for me. I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier experience.

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

It is about 5 minutes walk from Changgu Station, very convenient, there is a convenience store less than 100 meters away, and across the road is the Yubi Coast, the location is good, you can go down to the beach to see the sea at any time in the morning and evening.The house is spacious, the living room has a sea view, the bathroom also has a window to see the sea view, listening to the sound of the waves while bathing is simply amazing, the experience is very good

This place was great! Right next to the beach, nice views, and in a really cute, peaceful area. It’s close to a train station, so wasn’t hard to get our luggage to and the place was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!
