Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Shikoku

This was a great location close to the beach, in a quiet rural area. The home is rustic but has all of the amenities listed, including an annex with a western bedroom for those that may prefer to use the bunkbeds. We stayed in the main building which had a toilet at one end, shower at the other, with plenty of living space. We even made use of the washing machine! The futons were quite comfortable but given the age of the home and traditional constructions there was traffic noise evident at night. While we enjoyed our stay, this home is best suited for those under 5’8” tall…those of us around 6’ have to duck everywhere, especially in the kitchen.

The location is perfect. You don't even realize it until you walk the bikan historic district. The space is very comfortable kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Give yourself at least 4 to 5 days here to walk the temple, shopping, dining, and sight seeing. It really is close to everything. Beds were firm, but extra bedding helped to make them softer. Every room has its own temp control. Outdoor areas are easy to access. There is 1 small TV in 1 bedroom, we didn't use it, we used our laptop for movie nights. Japan doesn't seem to be big on closets or dressers, but we made it work for us. I don't like living out of a suitcase personally so we used a basket and the futons. I would 100% stay here again and we were sad to leave as it really felt like a home away from home.

It was a house with a sense of history, and the interior was decorated with lots of art and crafts, and it was like a museum. The air conditioning, lighting, and water were up-to-date, and there was no inconvenience during my stay.I wrote so far, but the refrigerator and washing machine were outside (in the garden), so it was a little cold at night.

As others have said, the good people have betrayed a lot of expectations.♪ It is an old house, but it is warmer than I expected, and the futon is fluffy and comfortable. I really had a relaxing time with the frog chorus. It's full of items to enjoy, and one night is not enough! Please turn the road up to the inn on the right side of the navigation.When I made a mistake and turned one road up, it was harder than the narrower road with farm machinery. Fail ^ ^;

Jen and Ono provided such an amazing experience throughout the busiest season of Setouchi Triennale! Access: 5-7min walk from the walk. Less than 10min walk from quality restaurants and bars. Kitchen: The house had guest fridge, stocked with eggs, yogurt, fruits for quick breakfast. Guests can also head to YADO's sister branch Airbnb called Crow's Nest to have a) yogurt bowl, b) cheese omelette, and c) french toasts upon request. Volumy and delicious, cooked by Ono! Interior: Colorful, lively, funky, and relaxing. Has an outdoor terras to have a nightcap. Nostalgic and stylish. Bed & Bath: Shower room, sinks, and toilets are renovated, spacious and clean. Beds were comfy, clean. Host: BEST human beings EVER ❤️

The hostess was very nice and helpful, she even picked us up from the train station. The accommodation is clean and has everything you need - we felt right at home and yet on vacation. The area is beautiful. A little cumbersome to reach by public transport but not impossible. We also used the barbecue facilities. We will miss this place!

We visited with three families and three generations, but we had a very satisfying holiday.I had four preschool children with me, but in front of the sea, there were many tricks for children to have fun playing in the villa, and I was able to enjoy it from beginning to end without getting bored. We also have all the dishes, etc., and this was only prepared for the ingredients, which was also very helpful.Recommended for families with children!I will definitely visit again.Thank you very much for making a lot of fun memories.

It is suitable for quiet and comfortable rest. We used the dorm and everything was tidy and nothing was lacking at all.

Me and my family enjoyed the stay here while we were in Okayama. We could borrow bicycles from the host, so it was very convenient to see the city and go to other places such as malls. The Nishigawara train station was not too far, so we could just walk to the station. Overall the stay was good and we recommend it.

Mari was very helpful and proactive in communication. She recommended programs, restaurants and she was available to help when we needed. It’s easy to walk to the main attractions and well connected to the train station by bus.

There was plenty of space in the room and the kitchen than I expected, and we had a pleasant time with a family of four plus one dog.Above all, it is clean and well maintained!The supermarket was a short walk away, so it was easy to shop.
