Family-friendly holiday rentals in Shikoku

The whole homestay is clean and exactly like in the photos, there is an izakaya, convenient store, supermarket nearby.The owner is very nice and responds very quickly.One car can be parked behind the front door of the B&B.Really loved it.

Anyway, the location was excellent, within walking distance from the center, and there was a convenience store and supermarket nearby, which was very convenient. The host was also quick, accurate, and very reassuring. The room was beautiful, full of amenities, and comfortable to use around the water.

the accommodation is very spacious. all facility that you should need are there. tho the bathroom with some ages and still function well. We generally finish clothes washing and dry at the balcony. location-wise, lawson & 7-11 are just in mintute walk distance. but building location is not close to tram stop, so may need to take around 8-10minute walk. however, Hiroshima is not a big city, so may not be a big concern to someone.

It was a house full of the owner's particularities. I was able to park comfortably because the parking space was shared with the next door tavern. The entrance had automatic lighting, so it was safe even when it got dark. The entrance is in the style of a dirt floor, and I think it is safe because cyclists can store their bikes indoors. The room has a large kitchen and a relaxing table.I was able to lie down comfortably on the sofa instead of the chair. The bath is a large round bathtub that can accommodate 5 or 6 people at a time. The loft-style bedroom on the second floor was also comfortable. The train tracks were close, so I could hear the train in the middle of the night, but I immediately fell asleep with the BGM. I used LINE to contact them, and I was relieved to receive a reply immediately. There were a lot of udon shops around, which was the purpose of this trip, so I would like to stay again and try a different shop.

Amazing location with just a stones throw away from the main station. This is as central as you can get and the property itself was very cozy and had all the amenities we needed. The washer / dryer was very much appreciated! Various conbini around too , which just makes it so convenient. I would highly recommend and book again when I’m back!

I would give 6 stars if I could - Extremely friendly hosts, very beautiful traditional guest house and the island is amazing as well. You will meet many interesting and kind people staying at the guest house as well. I would recommend joining in on the shared meals too, it's a lot of fun helping out with them and eating communally.

Accommodation for 4 family members. It was clean, and the host, Takayama, was great, and I had a very pleasant stay.

The place was nice and conveniently close to Hiroshima Station, with plenty of food options nearby. While the building is old, the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The only negative aspect was that one of the rooms lacked a heater, making it really cold. Overall, it's a good place to stay if the heating issue is resolved.

Great location very easy to get to the peace park/castle and shopping plaza and just around the corner from the tram line. Very clean tidy apartment and the directions to get there were very clear and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want easy access to what Hiroshima has to offer.

It was a very nice place to stay. We were also very quick to respond to explanations and other information. The room was clean and we had a pleasant stay. I want to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Kiminoya. The home was so cozy and clean, and the hosts even left complementary snacks and handmade coasters. We felt very at home here and would love to come back again.

It was a beautiful room that had just been renovated. There were two toilets and two washstands and air conditioners on the first floor. It was a 2-minute walk to the sea. I was able to walk to the sea many times. I also enjoyed searching for cats in the city. The wifi was also smooth for children to play games and watch videos. It was a nice kitchen and well equipped with tools. I was able to use a large refrigerator for five days and three meals. It was a 2-minute walk to the neighborhood rental car for 2,500 yen. The hospitality and food were off the charts! The food was unexpectedly incredible and the best meals we experienced on our three week trip. OKUMA and his wife were perfect hosts. It felt like a homestay. The accommodation is traditional and simple and the somewhat remote location is a perfect respite from the hectic cities. We walked up into the hills and around the island and travelled to Saiki and Oita.

This place was awesome and even though I was a solo traveller I used all the rooms. The kitchen had everything I needed to make simple meals (even proper knives) and the bathroom/ shower was spacious and clean. Ryoko was a terrific host. She was able to answer all my questions and was so helpful in every way. This was the best value place I think I have ever stayed in, across 3 countries. If you do not cope well with steep stairs (about 10, I think) then you won't like this place. My legs got a good workout using them. Great views from the top floor. Many thanks.

The host is very kind, responds quickly, and provides a lot of restaurant and supermarket information to meet daily needs. The accommodation is a distance from both Gaosong Station and Showa Town Station, so you need to reserve a little more time for transportation. The house is an old Japanese building, where you can clearly see the traces of family life, and it is suitable for experiencing the real local life.

Very comfortable whole apartment in a good and quiet location. The apartment is very well furnished in traditional Japanese style, has a full kitchen, a modern washing machine, a comfortable bathroom. Everything is of excellent standard and well maintained. I can only recommend it. Communication went smooth with hosts. Reply time was excellent. Personally however would have preferred personal contact not anonymously via AirBnB. For Western guests a real chair and a high table would be appreciated.

Excellent location. Very convenient to museum, memorial, grocery store and restaurants. Comfortable beds. Great AC.

The homestay is close to Takamatsu Wharf and JR Takamatsu Yi, and there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, which is very convenient for our island hopping at the inland art festival.The room is on the second floor, and the two bedrooms are more than enough for all four people.I really like the and style of the living room, so that we can experience the feeling of a family sitting around a small table and watching a play together.The living experience was great and one of the best memories of our trip.

I was really pleased to stay at this accomodation. It was a perfect Japanese-like life experience. Manami was extremely friendly, very reactive (she managed to answer all of my questions very quickly) and very helpful. The house overall was very clean and I really enjoyed having the opportunity to sleep in a futon and the bed were extremely comfortable! The neighborhood is extremely calm and a Lawson convenience store is conveniently placed 2min away from the accomodation. I would definitely come back to this place.
