Cottage holiday rentals in Shikoku

Ryota and Katrina are fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond- picked us up from the train station and took us to catch the bus when we left. They gave great local recommendations and even helped me figure out the trains to get there. It is a quiet surf town right on the water with a very relaxed vibe- a great place to retreat after an urban experience in Tokyo. The view, deck and hot tub overlooking the sea are amazing as is seeing the ocean from all points inside. We had some good down time and recovered for the next leg of our trip. This place is great for nature lovers, surfers and people looking for a break. Also, it is so well provisioned and supplied, with amazing bath products, some spices and kitchen stuff and exactly what you need in the kitchen. And Ryota and Katrina are such amazing hosts which also contributes to a great experience.

It is a waste of space for two people to stay together.It was a cold season, but there was air conditioning and a gas stove in each room, so I could stay warm.It was cold to wash my body, but the open-air bath was great.

家族5人で宿泊させて頂きましたが、十分な広さがあり、リビングや寝室から見える景色に子供達は大はしゃぎでした！ イサムノグチ美術館からも車ですぐのロケーションで、寝に帰るだけではもったいないと思い、夕飯はお部屋に備え付けのホットプレートでオリーブ牛祭りを開催しました。 テレビでNetflixやYouTubeもかけれたのもありがたかったです また高松に行く際には必ず訪れたいと思ったお部屋でした。ありがとうございました highly recommend. close to the Isamu Noguchi museum( reservation required) great ocean view, clean and enough space for a family trip. we didn't go out for a dinner, went to a local supermarket ( Niku no Higashihara) then have got tons of wagyu (the local wagyu named as olive gyu), had bbq in the living room they allowed us to checkin before the original checkin time 4pm once they finished the house keeping and it was a big help

Masao hosts a house he built with his own hands. Very homely feel. Received us himself in the evening and showed us the whole house and its facilities. A lovely, large and well maintained courtyard with flowering greenery, a fish pond. Very quiet and rural setting. Shikoku Island is just wonderful and beautiful. Highly recommend to come If there is no car, it is difficult to reach, so it is recommended for those traveling with a car

I am very satisfied with the immediate response! I was able to watch TV, Netflix, and YouTube, and it was completely okay with children! There was also a small supermarket just 5 minutes away by car.There were two cars and it was beautiful inside!I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity!

Four adults stayed with four large dogs. There are few accommodations where large dogs can stay, so I'm very grateful. It was a very scenic place. It was raining on the day, and Fujimori-san told us that we could check in early and gave us a call, told us about nearby shops, and responded kindly.The dogs seemed to be fun to play on the deck and relax in the room. When I checked out, my dog also had a gift of treats. I would love to stay again when I go to Awaji Island. Thank you very much.

Make sure to book a sup tour, the gorge is beautiful! The house is like you’re staying in a surf clubhouse such a funny vibe and change from all our other stays in Japan!

There was a beautiful creek between the inn and the parking lot, and it was a very nice environment to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time at night! There was also a parking space for 3 cars, so I think you can park without any problems even if you are traveling with multiple people. A cute cat greeted me outside the inn, and it was very healing during my stay! The room was also very clean, full of amenities, and I had no inconvenience in the room! The TV was able to watch YouTube and other videos, and the TV stand and table doors were designed to make it not boring even on rainy days, so I felt that even families with small children could have a full time! There are also drug stores, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. in the surrounding area, and I thought it was a convenient distance to go by car. There was also a nearby ferry stop to Itsukushima, and I thought it was a place to drive to the station and take the train to downtown Hiroshima to enjoy sightseeing!

The view was amazing! It was nice to have a fun time! One thing, the parking lot was a little confusing.

There were 4 beds, and it was a good cottage for 4 adults to relax and sleep.The BBQ on the terrace was also very delicious.The bath was far away, but it was spacious enough, and it felt like a waste to be dedicated to the cottage. There was no breakfast this time, so I went to a nearby Komeda coffee shop, but it was crowded.It would have been nice to have something to make and eat in the kitchen or on the terrace. The weather was good in the mountains, but the scenery was beautiful.I was able to spend time in nature without outdoor equipment, and it was very refreshing.

The location was also good, and the room was very clean.

We had a comfortable time in a clean room. I planned a small trip in the prefecture for my family, including my elderly grandmother and toddler, but it was fun to get together as a family with a resort feeling and with peace of mind. We would like to stay in the summer next time so that we can enjoy the pool and the sea more. Thank you very much.

We stayed with 8 people, four adults, four children (elementary school students).The children were very happy, and the adults were very satisfied and had a very pleasant time. The room is clean and full of dishes, so you can just bring your clothes and food.

Recommended for a relaxing family trip to enjoy the Seto Inland Sea ~ Perfect for water play, SUP, fishing, etc. The interaction with Hiroshi was very smooth and the service was very polite. I stayed for 5 nights, and it had everything I needed, and there were plenty of tools to cook a full meal. The shower outside that was in the sea, the barbecue on the wooden deck, and the relaxation space were also great. We used the rental cycle to go around the island and enjoyed swimming at the nearby sandy beach. Hiroshi introduced me to a local person, and he even planned a half-day boat fishing tour. Thanks to you, we had a great summer vacation. Thank you!
