Log house in a pleasant courtyard, Flatdal, Seljord

Welcome to the farm here at our place. The old cozy log house is idyllically situated to the sun-away on our farm grounds, the large open outdoor areas. Flatdal is a very good starting point for good hiking, long and short bike and car ride. The house has two bedrooms, a bright and delicious living room with dining nook, fireplace, view out towards the tuna and the village. Although the hand-held house is old, it has inlaid electricity, water, heaters, kitchen and bathroom with shower. A quiet and idyllic place for adults and children.

Large open family house overlooking Seljord and Seljordsvannet for rent. The place has two porches, as well as nice outdoor seating. There are nice hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. In the garden there is a wood-fired stomp that can be used after agreement. There are nice paddling areas in the area. Kayak and canoe can be rented by interest. The house is located 15 min walk from Seljord city center and 5 min walk from Dyrsku square. Bø Sommarland and High and low is a 35 min drive away. It takes 30 minutes to drive to Vrådal.

Great cabin by Gaustatoppen

Bring your family together in a great cabin with plenty of space for play and cosiness! The cabin is only 50 meters from the ski track which gives you access to miles of tracks. There is plenty of space outside around the cabin with, among other things, a sledding hill and sunny porch. The cabin is located in a quiet cabin area, and it is only a 20 min drive to the slalom slope on Gaustablikk (when the mountain crossing is open for traffic) or Flugonfjell. Easy access to grocery store and serving place Tuddal Høyfjellshotell.

Modern and new Hedda cabin about 50 meters from large Breivatn. Listed in 2023 about 800 meters above sea level. Trail network and hiking trails right outside, quiet and great surroundings indoors and outdoors. Here you can walk several miles on skis to great areas such as Stavatjønn, Buin, Breivasstaulen and many more. Perfect for everyone. All seasons are enjoyed in Øyfjell. The cabin is suited for couples, if you are traveling alone and for families with children. Parties are prohibited on the property.

Lovely cabin with nice view for rent

Nice cabin with view to the lake and mountains. It has 3 bedrooms in total. it has no shower but there is a watersystem with a watertank you fill up and you get hot and cold water in the kitchen and bathroom. There are roads all the way to the door and parking. you need to bring your own towels, linen and some drinking water. There is a wood oven and a gas oven there. There is a big nice veranda there too and its close to the mountain hotell. Electricity will be calculated.

Back to basics. Enjoy the deafening silence…. With the view of the mountains and the pure nature, you feel very small for a moment, and then (re)discover the strength for life. The small cottage can offer you a lot: a good place to sleep for 2 people downstairs, and 1 person in the attic. There is a 5 liter water bottle, coffee and tea. Also it has an electric and wood-burning stove. A luxurious bathroom and toilet are a 20-meter walk away... feel free and find yourself

Skaubu, quiet retreat in the mountains of Telemark

Nice cabin 920 m asl. Located at Kvambekkheia, on the border between Seljord and Vinje municipalities. Built 1974/2015. 5 bedrooms, 10 beds, 1,5 bathrooms, 3 living rooms, kitchen. Hikes in the mountains, and excurtions in the area. I live 150 km from the cabin, and need to accept each stay, to make sure it is cleaned and ready with supplies. Winter Large network of ski slopes, straight from the cabin. Both on the snow mountain and on more protected terrain.
