Great house close to Salzburg

The accommodation was great, exactly as in the photos. The location is also very good, there is a supermarket about 100m away and the beautiful lake promenade is also only 5min away on foot. Brigitte answered each of our questions in a short time and also gave us good recommendations for the area. We would come back any time

Accommodation was very nice. It was a little warm, but there were also two fans. The furnishings were great. Everything was clean. Nothing was missing. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. We were on the road a lot and it was always pleasant to come back to the accommodation. Very cozy.

A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The surroundings and and scenery are truly spectacular. The house was beyond expectations. Very spacious and comfortable. I will stay here again when I return.

We really enjoyed Barbara's stay. Upon arrival, Barbara was ready to welcome us. The apartment had exactly what we needed and the surroundings were beautiful! Certainly subject to repetition.

We had a wonderful time in Karin's accommodation. Karins parents welcomed us very lovingly, with an extra toy basket for our 18-month-old daughter, tips for the area and just a nice conversation. The accommodation is quietly located on the upper floor - you have your privacy and everything your heart desires. The garden was also great. We will be happy to come back.

We very much enjoyed this Airbnb vacation rental. We were in town for a wedding and found the area very convenient to most local attractions. We had a parking space for a rental car. The forum shops is nearby where there is a very nice grocery store and even a Starbucks. It is also very conveniently located to the local train station. Directions were very clear and our host was quick to respond about anything we needed. We were able to walk to the wedding venue at Mirabel Palace and even the central part of old historic Salzburg. Having an elevator was very convenient as well. We would definitely stay here again. The next time we return to Salzburg

Absolute recommendation! The area of Maria's accommodation is like paradise. The view, the tranquility, simply fabulous. The accommodation is really nice and there was nothing we lacked. Maria's hospitality is particularly noteworthy. She made us feel at home. She always gave personal tips on hikes and local events. There is much more to be said here, but unfortunately the characters are not enough. The fresh hay milk and eggs directly from our own cow and chickens were also special. It was really wonderful! Thank you! ☺️

Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location, quiet and close to travel connections! Everything we needed was in the apartment, TV, speaker, towels, shampoo etc. it was clean in the area you would want most, little bit of dust and dirt in places but it didn’t affect our stay. Check in and out was easy and the place was easy to find. Thank you again Andrea for having us!

Our expectations were met. Small but practically furnished accommodation. Perfect if you're on the road most of the time anyway. The parking lot right outside the door was perfect. The bathroom is located across the hall, but super equipped and clean. The street was a bit noisy with the window open and the apartment was already warm in hot temperatures. But neither was a problem for us. The bus runs directly in front of the door with connections to Salzburg city centre and the Unterbergbahn.

We had a wonderful stay at Gerard’s. The views from our windows were spectacular. It was very quiet, the apartment was pristine and had everything one needs. This listing ticks all the boxes. Rosina made us feel at home, and she communicated well. We can highly recommend this Airbnb listing.

The apartment is idyllically located in top condition and has a beautiful balcony overlooking the Traunstein. It is about 45 minutes on foot to the nearest town and about 20 minutes to the nearest swimming facility. If you want to be flexible, a car is recommended or for sporty people bicycles or e-bikes. In the apartment, you can relax well, enjoy the beautiful view and tranquility and relax well. Your hostess is very kind and relaxed and can give you good tips for activities. We had a nice week at Susanne

Everything was perfect! Even the sofa was very comfortable to sleep on with a good mattress. Kitchen super equipped. The terrace is very cozy. Elisabeth is a very friendly and helpful hostess. We would have liked to have spent more time here.

We had an amazing stay at Nora & Peter's property recently. The apartment looks even better than the photos and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We have enjoyed our tea in the balcony watching beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtful designed by the hosts. Everything is exceptionally clean . The kitchen was also very well stocked which was helpful for us to make meals occasionally. We also were in love with this town, loved to walk by the lake. Its so peaceful. In the summers, this lake is filled with water activities, swimming etc. There is a small convenient store 2 min down the road. Nora and Peter were constantly in touch with us and were very helpful from the start to the end. This is one of the best properties we have lived in and Nora & Peter are absolutely the best hosts which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

This apartment was spacious and within 20 minutes walk of historic Salzburg. A bus stop is conveniently located across the street. We appreciated Gregor’s responsiveness to our questions. We had the opportunity to meet his parents and found them to be lovely people. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and coffee. We would stay here again!

We were warmly welcomed by Iris and immediately received a lot of important information about our stay in Mondsee. The central location of the apartment offers numerous opportunities to explore the area. We had a nice time and can only recommend the apartment.

Great apartment in a quiet residential area, yet within walking distance of the city center. Everything is there and you feel at home. Claudia and Manfred live on the floor below, you can see from the balcony into their beautiful, large garden. You can be reached at any time if you have any questions. I even got fresh cherries from my own tree in the garden:). I'd love to come back.
