Stay in a listed building with storks! You are renting an entire house with approximately 175 square meters of living space and a 400-square-meter garden. The stork village of Rühstädt in the Prignitz invites you to hike, cycle, relax and watch animals. The so-called Kossätenhof is the only listed private building in Rühstädt with a residential house, former stables and a barn. Two pairs of storks with 6 young storks are currently nesting in the barn (June 2026)! Places with historic city centers such as Perleberg are easily accessible.

The holiday apartment is located in the outbuilding of our detached farm "Rabennest" in the biosphere reserve, surrounded by meadows, forest and lakes. The farm is located just behind the dyke. The fully equipped apartment can accommodate 2–3 people. Exterior: small fenced garden with barbecue option. Whether for animal and nature lovers, anglers, mushroom collectors or just those seeking peace, this place promises pure relaxation. Dog's are welcome.

A paradise for cyclists, hikers and anglers - perfect for small + large nature lovers. Right where the beautiful Havel flows into the Elbe, lies the relaxing apartment Friedenseiche. The address is: Haverland 7, 19322 Abbendorf. The clean and spacious apartment can accommodate six people. One master bedroom with a box spring bed, two small bedrooms each with a bed. Two more people can be accommodated on the comfortable sofa bed in the living room.

Holiday apartment in old half-timbered house behind the dyke

The Storchendorf Wahrenberg is right on the Elbe and offers an ideal location to enjoy nature and activities. Wahrenberg does not have through traffic. In the garden you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. Cycling and canoeing are possible directly on site or nearby, as well as swimming on the Elbe or on lakes. The spa in Bad Wilsnack and the beautiful Waldbad Seehausen are ideal for excursions. Simple bicycles cost €5 per day.

Kulturhaus Wahrenberg

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The residential house and barn of the listed 3-sided farmstead are built with oak timber framing. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the linden trees are pruned back, the house can be seen in all its glory. From May, it then slowly disappears behind shady foliage and stays wonderfully cool throughout the summer... 

Living in an old school

There is no central heating. There is a convection oven, which is similar to a tiled stove, but quickly provides cozy warmth. The place is heated on arrival, and the heat usually lasts until the next morning. Cheering is easy! Relax, also enjoy silence in a stylish guest apartment, feel comfortable no matter the weather. Quiet in the countryside, there is no distraction, no shops, no cafe, nothing. Welcome to the Middle of Nüscht.
