Cottage holiday rentals in Sea Ranch

We’re very familiar with the surrounding area and this home is classic to the Russian River vibe. It’s easy to access Jenner Highland preserve, Armstrong woods and river activities. We found the listing to be accurate and very clean. We did not access the small secondary building but appreciated the hot tub. We also were glad we left our dog at home as there is no grass on the property and several stairs to navigate. It would certainly work for some dogs, but not ours was quite large. We did appreciate David’s immediate response to our request to edit our reservation when we decided not to bring our dog; excellent communication!

This was our second time staying at Red Door Retreat and we had another great visit. As before everything was exactly as pictured and described. Checkin was very smooth and communication with Brett was great. We particularly enjoyed the several nice outdoor spaces and the hot tub. Quiet setting but short drive to local attractions and Guerneville town center. Highly recommended!

We just completed a lovely stay at Emily's place -- the home is on a very quiet road, spacious, well-appointed, and the decor is a great match for the environment. One bedroom with adjoining bathroom is on the ground floor and the other is on the second floor, making it perfect for two couples -- plus there's a bonus bunkbed in the front room for kids. The outdoor space, surrounded by redwoods, has several seating areas with a nice hot tub (seats 4). The neighbors were all very welcoming and nice, we felt right at home in the area. We've been coming up to Russian River for about 20 years and had never heard of this small community, it was wonderfully off the beaten path yet close to everything! There is also secluded and well-maintained neighborhood beach which was great for sunbathing / kayak launching. Emily had alerted us that map apps weren't reliable for the area and sent a pinned location -- definitely use it and pre-load an area map, especially if you'll be arriving in the dark.

We had a great time at The Cottage. It is well described in the listing, the place is a great place to chill and enjoy, especially the patio. It has everything you need (the listing mentions no stove but between all the other amenities and grill you can cook most things), is clean and very comfortable. The continental breakfast and cooking basics is a nice touch. We really liked our time there.

In a word - delightful! We very much enjoyed the back deck and patio with morning and afternoon sun, a relaxing yard with views of the river, osprey, swallows and even deer. The kitchen was very well equipped with high quality appliances/utensils/cookware/dishware etc for easy mealmaking. Playing records from Adam's collection was memorable & reminiscent. The beds were very comfortable - especially nice with french doors looking out to the back yard and riverscape. The location is easy distance from Monte Rio, Jenner and Guerneville, paddleboarding, beaching, hiking nearby plus nice to walk our dog Lexie in the extended neighborhood. Adam was a great host. We highly recommend Adam's delightful cottage retreat, and look forward to future stays!

Quaint little cottage and private deck away from and yet close to the town. Excellent and super-responsive hosts, very sweet and kind. Highly recommend for a serene experience in nature on your next Petaluma trip. :)

My husband and I stayed at Renee's cottage for a long weekend and loved every minute of it! The outdoor gardens are gorgeous and perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The bed was the most comfortable bed we've had at an Air Bnb. And the two person hot tub was super clean and eat to operate. Her place is also very close to town and just a short drive to the Town Square and amazing restaurants and shopping. The grounds are also very charming with a lot of rustic farm equipment and a beautiful vineyard. We look forward to coming back!

With both our sons in town, our family took some time away from busy lives to be together and we had a wonderful, relaxing stay in this charming 1913 redwood cottage full of history! We felt we’d entered another time when it was possible to slow down, sit on the porch listening to the sounds of the lovely garden, and play games or read by the fire. The house and beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the hot tub a nice bonus. We love Pt. Reyes and have stayed in the area many times, but this is by far our favorite spot. We loved staying here and hope to return again!

Linda is a great host. Cares about her guests. She had the room set to be cool upon arrival. The room is spacious and pleasantly comfortable. The Friday farmer's market is an easy walk, just down the street. Quiet neighborhood.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s place. Access to the river was a very short walk from the home. The house was clean and clear of clutter.

My husband and I (along with our 6 month old and our dog) enjoyed a perfect Fathers Day/Birthday weekend at Dennis's cottage! The location couldn't be better - so easy to grab provisions or a quick bite around the corner at the general store, and amazing to be able to walk to the beach in just a few minutes. The cottage is cozy - just the right size for two adults and a dog - with everything you need. Having a washing machine was extra convenient, and the balcony and fire place made for relaxing evenings. We love Dillon Beach and are so happy we found this place! Don't hesitate to book :)

My family and I had an enjoyable weekend stay at Peter’s cottage. The location was beautiful and home was cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and I appreciated a clean porta-crib that was provided.

The unit was clean, cozy, and right in the heart of incredible nature! The creek is incredible for bird and animal watching, and Colin is a communicative and thorough host. Couldn't recommend more highly!

One of the most incredible places I’ve stayed. The surroundings are stunning, the place is charming. Wifi works just fine. And it’s just 10 minutes from the cliffs of Mendocino. 10/10 would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn’s place. We loved spending a day on her deck overlooking the lake - so beautiful. We also took advantage of her fire table out front. She also had a sturdy fold out table for dining - we initially didn’t see it in the pictures but she actually had everything we needed to enjoy a full meal around a table. Bonus points that we could fold it away for more space when not using! Carolyn was also very responsive and checked in daily on how we were doing. Would love to come back!

We have stayed at this cottage multiple times, and plan on returning many more. Although I stay at other AirBnb’s throughout the country for work, nothing compares to this Manchester Cottage for vacation. The host has the hosting process done to a T. The entire experience, from start to finish was flawless. Other hosts should take note on how to do it properly. The private beach access is definitely the coup de grace of the entire experience, but the fully equipped kitchen is runner up. With 3 sons, having a functional kitchen is a must. Not to mention the gas grill on the deck near the hot tub. Just writing the review makes me want to book my next visit! We look forward to our next visit. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our time here. Everything was so well taken care of inside their home and you simply cannot beat the view. It's stunning. We appreciated the dog -friendliness and wonderful location as well.

Such a beautiful, secluded stay. We brought all our food and cooked in the well stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. We loved the pool table and piano upstairs. The beach is stunning. And the view — second to none! Can’t wait to return.

Wow! This property is absolutely stunning. Private and peaceful, it’s straight out of a magazine! Just 6 minutes from the most beautiful hiking trail, Goodlove Trail and just minutes to drive to some of the most beautiful wineries! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

This is a charming place, beautifully kept with lovely furnishings. We really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen as we cooked every day. The yard and gardens are beautifully kept, peaceful and serene. Oranges growing right outside the house! We were in town for a wedding, and Santa Rosa is right in the middle of so many enjoyable things to do. We hiked on the CCT out past Bodega Bay, enjoyed restaurants in Healdsburg, visited the redwoods and shopped at the Barlow in Sebastopol. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your lovely home. Barking Rocks Cottage is a lovely home, in peaceful surroundings with a wonderful ocean view. Kelly is an amazing hostess, proactively communicating and sharing very helpful local information with us ahead of the trip. We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. Hot tub chemistry was well maintained (not always the case). Best of all, such a great location for anything in Monte Rio. We were there to see a concert and could walk to the beach, to town, and to and from the event. And after the event, we could sit out in the backyard in the hot tub under the beautiful redwoods (which were nicely lit) in the evening. Great spot. Would recommend and will stay there again if we ever have reason to be in Monte Rio. Plus Tom was very communicative as a host which I appreciate.

Rachel’s cozy cabin was the perfect peaceful space to unwind & relax. The area felt homey while being clean & uncluttered. My husband & I truly enjoyed our little getaway. The home itself offers privacy while not being too far away from restaurants, the lake, shopping, hiking & adorable farms! Every amenity you’d need you’ll find at this Airbnb & the hosts are very friendly as well as responsive. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get away & enjoy some quiet & serenity
