Tucked away in the redwoods, this newly furnished home is a serene retreat at Sea Ranch. It enjoys near-total privacy on three acres of forest, plus the sound, smell and sight of the ocean through a gap in the trees on a clear day. The main room and the master bedroom are spacious, with views of the forest from every angle. Every evening felt like a postcard moment. The space was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. What made the stay even better was the host — incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our visit. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Bret and Phil were excellent hosts that had thought of everything a guest would need for a great getaway. The beautiful “Treehouse” is modern and charming with every amenity provided, to make it feel like a home away from home. Nestled amongst the Redwoods, the backyard is private and beautiful. The deck has plenty of comfortable chairs and is the perfect spot for wildlife viewing! The kitchen is well appointed and stocked. Fantastic coffee selection and barista style syrup station- What more could one ask for?! But wait, there’s more! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. We did indulge in some late evening s’mores. Close to the shops in Mendo and within a 20 min drive to multiple locations like the Skunk Train, Botanical Garden and Glass Beach. Overall, I’d score them a 10 out of 5!! Can’t wait to return someday.
