Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the Silvesterchläuse, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a nice place to sit, directly on the Urnäsch (stream) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the 1970s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, in the other part of the house (private entrance) my parents live, but this does not affect you.

You will stay right in the center of Appenzell, a few meters from the traditional Landsgemeindeplatz. Despite the central location, it is quiet without traffic noise, surrounded by idyllic garden restaurants, numerous shops, historic buildings and museums. The house is located 5-7 minutes' walk from the train station, BZBS, OST and the city center.

Just the thing for a cozy weekend for two or alone in the middle of nature!! An extensive organic shop in the nearby farmhouse is always open for late arrivals. If you are looking for luxury in the traditional sense, the Bird's Nest is not the right place. The luxury of the bird's nest is its wonderful simplicity.
