We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly what we needed , clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. They really made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Serge is a great host. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful stay in his apartment. Serge was available around the clock, gave us great tips for activities and showed us his farm. We were also able to get to know the horses there up close. The apartment was just like in the pictures, beautifully decorated, and very clean. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come back on our next visit to Holland.

The apartment was in a fantastic location – perfect for exploring the city and enjoying the beach. It was very cozy and it really had everything you need. You immediately felt comfortable. Communication with Cynthia went smoothly and quickly, she was always available and very helpful. The entire stay was great and we would come back anytime. Absolute recommendation!

We had a great stay at this apartment! Everything was very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location was ideal – quiet but still central, so we could easily reach everything. We particularly liked the warm communication with the host- always friendly, helpful and reliable. A small note: the stairs to the apartment are – typical of this beautiful old building – a bit steep. It wasn't an issue for us, but you should know. We would love to come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the place!

Our stay at Vincent's apartment was lovely. It really was super clean, absolutely no clutter, and the bed was very comfortable. The street was quiet and away from the touristy areas. However, it was just a short walk to the busier areas and the museums, a real plus. The steps up to the apartment were indeed very steep. We mentioned this to our Dutch friends and they said "welcome to Amsterdam"! They are part of every house so we accepted this and got used to them. Vincent's Check In instructions were clear and we had no problems. We had a very memorable stay. Thank you, Vincent.

We spent a week before Easter at Thildy's place and felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is comfortably furnished and there is everything you need for a holiday. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped. Communication with Thildy was very good.

Marius is an amazing host. The house is picky, so we can completely relax in the beautiful surroundings. The house is quiet place, yet in close walking distance a city's comforts. We've been here for others with our grandchildren who are now teenagers. They suggest it will be a tradition that we go on a trip to Medemblik. There was a bottle of champagne for us as a welcome. However, the biggest welcome was that it was so clean and cozy. You really feel welcomed and welcomed.

Had a lovely stay here in Alkmaar. The accommodation was wonderful. Felt right at home here very well equipped and very clean. The area was nice and peaceful and walking distance to town centre and train station. Would highly recommended.

There were six of us in the accommodation for a week and it was one of the best Airbnbs we've all ever stayed in. The accommodation is just as beautiful as in the pictures, everything is sparkling clean and the facilities are excellent. The location is of course also a dream - both the terrace in front of the entrance door and the one behind the house have a beautiful view and you can lie wonderfully by the water and relax. The trampoline with sea view is also a highlight :) The communication was great: super fast, very friendly and we got all the information in detail in advance. This accommodation really has everything in mind and we can definitely recommend it! Only if you are afraid of spiders, you should possibly think again, because in the evening there were really a lot of larger spiders on the house. But everything has been thought of here too, there are numerous fly screens and if you are careful when ventilating, you will still have a spider-free house :)

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We were allowed to use the wonderful accommodation of Nittert & family for four nights - we would have preferred not to leave. What a lucky strike: from the loving, detailed furnishings of all rooms, to the large, perfectly equipped kitchen and the comfortable living room, to the well-maintained, lushly planted garden, where you could sit and read in peace... Such a kind of hospitality is not a matter of course. We were happy and grateful and very enthusiastic :-) We'd be happy to come back anytime!

We were guests in Marja's house for a week in June 2025 and felt very comfortable. Our 15-year-old daughter had her own kingdom upstairs with a bathroom and enjoyed it very much😉. The house offers a good starting point for various activities - very good train connection to Amsterdam, wonderful bike tours in the area or just a visit to the beach. Gladly again!

We stayed in the area for the first time and chose the place due to the beautiful place. We had a wonderful 5 days. There was everything you needed, everything was clean and you felt right at home. The location is absolutely fantastic, lots of privacy and you walked quickly to the beach and the city. We will definitely come again! Absolute heart recommendation.

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

Felix's apartment was great. We spent four days there and unfortunately had bad luck with the weather. Despite the weather, we had a great relaxing time through the apartment. Felix is super nice and responded very quickly to messages. He personally welcomed us and was very flexible both on arrival and departure. The attentions to the reception and the friendly host immediately made us feel very warm. The house is located in a lively cozy neighborhood and yet we were not bothered by this in the bedrooms at all. We slept well and could hear the birds early in the morning. We may come back with our family.

Thomas was an excellent host, communicating quickly when we asked questions and welcoming us at the apartment. The apartment was just as shown, very nicely done up with everything we could need. It suited us staying outside the city centre - trams/ metro in easy distance. Thanks Thomas

Martijn’s home is truly stunning and located in the heart of Amsterdam. Really I could not have asked for a better place to spend a few days while in the city. Thank you!

We stayed here for just a few days before hopping over to Brussels and it was perfect for three of us. The apartment is beautiful - pictures don’t do it justice - and everything is as listed on the listing. The neighborhood is also super walkable with tons of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby, not to mention you are less than 10 mins from the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, and many other recommended museums. There are also many train and bus lines nearby to take you into the city center. My only note for folks is that the stairs to get to the apartment are incredibly steep and (regardless of how large your suitcase is, it’s likely to be tight) so I would consider that if you are a person with any mobility issues. It was worth it though for the beautiful space and I would absolutely stay here again!

Simon was always available for any questions we had…he is a very nice guy. Apartment is cute..perfect for the two of us and very close to the city center where restaurants and shops are located. The train station is only a 10 minute walk. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to rent in Haarlem.

We had such a great time at Laura’s Airbnb! While it was a long walk to the heart of Amsterdam, there are so many public transportation options close by and they are so easy to navigate. The neighborhood is gorgeous and we would definitely stay again!
