You have acess to the courtyard, with garden furniture and barbecue.

Villa Anschütz - Mansard apartment

In the state-approved resort of Zella-Mehlis, we have lovingly converted a cosy apartment under the newly insulated roof of the "Villa Anschütz". The villa was built in 1911 by the founding company of the world-famous Anschütz Sportwaffen. Relax in the garden under the 100-year-old blood beech, next to the ancient rhododendron bushes or by the stream. The original beams of the roof truss, illuminated with warm light, make the apartment particularly cosy.

The child-friendly apartment was completely renovated and newly furnished in 2022. It can accommodate 4 people and a toddler. The apartment is quietly located on the outskirts of Schmalkalden. It is the starting point for hiking and cycling tours or for exploring the old town. For nice evenings in our large garden, we will be happy to provide you with a grill or enjoy the time in our beautiful conservatory.

Small apartment by the forest

The small apartment is located in Gräfenhain, a quiet district of Ohrdruf. It has been completely renovated in recent years. On 35 square meters there is a combined living and sleeping area, a separate kitchen with mini kitchen + fridge, as well as a bathroom with shower. Situated directly on the edge of the forest, it offers the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling - surrounded by greenery.

Coziness on the Rennsteig

The cozily furnished house for up to 4 people has a large terrace with garden furniture. Our vacation home on its own property is located on the outskirts about 100 meters from the forest. From here you can explore Thuringia in all directions. Whether Eisenach, Erfurt, Meiningen, Suhl, Schmalkalden, Gotha, etc. are easily accessible from here. Oberhof, the winter sports center, is about 15 km away.

There is plenty to experience in every season. Schmalkalden is just a 10-minute drive away. There you can look at the half-timbered city, shop and snack in the Viba Nougat World.
