Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There's a wood stove.

Relax wonderfully in this green oasis near the city of Groningen. Fully furnished single-level guest house for 2. You'll love sitting on the covered terrace under the grape bushes with a glass of wine and a good book. The stay at Jan's was excellent! The communication was great, everything was explained well and described in advance. You have maximum privacy through the separate building, the accommodation was very clean, the bed comfortable and supermarkets are right on the doorstep. The BnB is located in a church, or is an adjoining room of it, so you can look at it at any time. That's something special, who can say they've slept in a church? 😌 Thank you Jan!

Karin's place was great and even better than the photos. All my questions were answered promptly and with a friendly nature. The area is lovely and very peaceful whilst the accommodation location is quiet with a private and relaxing outdoor area. If you like horses then you're in luck as there is a fine horse and two Shetlands that love a carrot or two. I wouldn't certainly stay again for business or leisure.

The three of us stayed in Esther's apartment for a week and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is very tastefully furnished. Everything - dishes, etc., are available in sufficient quantity and quality. There's really nothing missing. For the first day and breakfast the fridge was stocked! We were welcomed with chilled sparkling wine. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen-living room, which is the center of the apartment. The apartment is located in the old town of Appingedam, a very nice place and a good starting point for trips to Groningen or Leeuwarden. Highly recommend both. We highly recommend this property and Esther as a landlady.

We have completely relaxed in this wonderful place in the countryside! The view is amazing, you will see a different animal shooting by every time. It is a quiet, quiet place, but you can find the hustle and bustle in no time by going to the city of Groningen. Also definitely choose the delicious breakfast with the fresh eggs from the chickens that walk around there. In short, highly recommended!
