Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Schenkenzell

We were looking for a little break from everyday life and found it here. A beautiful little house, great fireplace, cozy sauna, very appealing decor, very nice garden and the highlight that our dog was warmly welcomed. We will be back. 😊

We felt very comfortable as a family with 7 people and a dog in this half-timbered house. The house is very cozy and has everything you need. Only the beds are too soft for those with sensitive backs. The two hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The courtyard is completely enclosed so the dog could run around freely. Absolutely recommended. We immediately felt comfortable and at home. The cottage is beautifully decorated and there is everything you need. Especially the quiet & idyllic location was an absolute plus. We certainly weren't here for the last time - thank you so much for the great time! ☀️

We had a wonderful time with family

We had a great family vacation here! Even though the weather was not as good, the house was just perfect for it! There was a lot of activities for the kids, the pool was warm and could be used easily even in the rain. The house is equipped so well, it feels very much like home right away. We can totally recommend it for a family trip! Thank you very much and we would love to come back!

Excellent accommodation, I would recommend it. Thanks again Wolfgang. If I can just make an improvement, there is a lack of storage for our belongings in 3 bedrooms of the accommodation.

For our group of 8 people, we were very comfortable and enjoyed the shared space. The kitchen was great for cooking meals and provided all cooking necessities. The host was responsive and friendly. The view from the balcony was beautiful! The area included a cute town, lots of nearby hiking, and we enjoyed the mountain coaster! A quaint & cozy stay in the Black Forest!

More than excellent place to stay. We came to three friends to go to EuropaPark. Lorraine was able to adapt to our check-in times. The accommodation is sublime, the spa and sauna facilities at the top. We even spent a night under the stars, the garden was so nice. We will be back.

Benjamin responded super quickly, and had great ideas for cycling. The apartment is quietly located, super cozy and well equipped. Hiking, cycling or excursions in the Black Forest were very easy to plan and carry out from here. We felt very comfortable!

Michel awaited us personally and even brought us croissants in the morning. The appartment was extremly nicely arranged with a lot of taste. Don't expect luxury but very high quality.

We had a fantastic stay at Artur’s apartment on Friday night – it was spacious, clean, and perfect for a group with kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. All the beds were king-size 🛏️, which was super comfortable. The dining area was huge 🍽️, giving us plenty of room to eat and relax together. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and right outside there’s a lovely open area with beautiful seating 🪑🌿 – perfect for enjoying drinks and chatting in the evening 🥤💬. The heating is centrally controlled 🌡️, and since we had 4 babies 👶👶👶👶, we requested more warmth – Artur was quick to respond and made sure we were comfortable. One bed is up a short staircase 🌀, and there’s no toilet upstairs 🚻, so keep that in mind if you need frequent access. The parking spot was excellent 🅿️ and very convenient. Overall, I’m extremely happy 😊 with the price and accommodation. Artur was a great host – helpful and responsive 🙌. I’d love to stay again and highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay. Geny and Richard were exceptionally hospitable, kind, and considerate hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartment is spacious, cozy, bright, impeccably clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house keeps its promises! Everything is shown in the pictures and in the description, in this great location it is just nice to spend your vacation. We spent a cozy weekend there with friends and spent most of our time in the house and were able to sit back and enjoy a great time!

We spent a family weekend there with many adults and children. To begin with, I have to say that Eve is a wonderful host. Communication was excellent—proactive and helpful. The house and garden were very spacious, offering plenty of room. The amenities left nothing to be desired. I would be happy to stay there again.

Nice accommodation for visiting Christmas markets in the area. Easy motorway access. Bettina and Harald were accessible and responsive to all our inquiries and needs. Lovely area-worth an extended visit!

Fritz welcomed us in an uncomplicated, flexible and totally friendly manner. The property is very well located - easily accessible by car and train but quiet despite the proximity to the train tracks (the neighboring milk processing operation was also by no means disturbing, at least during our stay). Shopping and downtown are within easy walking distance. A wonderfully equipped and clean apartment, a very nice terrace and welcome greetings in the fridge, we felt right there. We'll be happy to come back! Thanks again to our likeable host!
