A perfect accommodation for those seeking peace in an environment that has a lot to offer: Alkmaar, Bergen and the Schoorlse Duinen can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Fast train connection from Schagen to Amsterdam. Texel is also a great day trip. The apartment is cozy and very nicely furnished, the highlight is the large terrace directly on the water with an evening view over the meadows. Anja and Pieter are always easy to reach and very helpful, they even picked us up from Alkmaar because the trains did not run on our day of arrival. Thank you!

We were super satisfied with the accommodation, Sonja and Jur are very nice and accommodating. It was a pleasant four days. Thanks again for everything.

Great place for anyone who loves horses and nature. Nice and quiet but you can still get to the city quickly. In the evening we had a visit on the stairs of 2 cats who were very happy about petting. At night we underlined the silence of the again and hustle and bustle of the horses in the stable. We thought that was very nice The apartment was reasonably clean and well equipped. Only a large bowl for salad and a few deep plates were missing. We only saw Jan briefly on departure, but he met us very friendly. All in all, a very successful and beautiful stay.

Maaike and Jeroen were lovely hosts, making us feel welcome in their historic monument home. With 40 chickens, two rabbits, one cat, and one dog, we felt like we were one with nature. We had a safe place in the barn for our bicycles, and there was everything we could ask for to cook nice meals. Fresh flowers on the table and treats in the cupboards, we felt really spoiled. The bed was the biggest we‘ve seen in a long time, and it was extremely comfortable. There were giant tulip fields to the left and right of the house. The sunsets were glorious and make for taking endless photographs.
