Holiday rentals with a kayak in Scandinavia

We have traveled so many countries and stayed in places and yet we truly have no words to explain how beautiful this location and the home is. It is beautiful beyond our words can explain. Flo Bellvue is one of the places I see my self coming back over and over with my family. It was more than big enough for our 3 families with kids. Monica and Vidar have paid so much attention to the details. We felt so home, our kids had the best time of their life, whether it was going outside to play, riding bicycles through the orchards and hills or going down by the water. Our day and evening walks will be the most memorable and this beautiful place will be in our memory forever. Thank you to Monica and Vidar for giving so many people an opportunity to experience this gem.

Erna's house is a beautiful and peaceful place renovated with thought and a lot of love: We were amazed by the attention to detail and immediately felt at home. Do not worry if the weather is not great: You can then use the really nice fireplace and get cozy. The view is great and we enjoyed long walks in nature and along the beach. Gunnar is a great host and looked after us very well. We are looking forward to return!

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

Had great time with family. The location is awesome. Lars kept his dream house well equipped with all required things for a traveler. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in the guesthouse! It was so comfortable and had everything we could need. The views of the fjord were so beautiful and the farm itself was so lovely. Petter was a great host. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We spent 9 days in Patrik's house. A wonderful place, modernly furnished and yet cosy as at home. Large kitchen with lots of equipment, nice bathroom, comfortable beds. We had wonderful weather and were able to make good use of the terrace and the seats by the fireplace in the evening. The location by the forest and the lake is unique and the tranquility there is pleasant. The house was our most beautiful AirBnB - so far.

A Norwegian accommodation, as it is in the book! We really felt very comfortable and were sad when we had to move on. Sitting by the water in the evening and enjoying the view, starting point for various hikes or walks into the village - we were never bored. Despite the steep staircase, it is also highly recommended for families with small children: there are stair gates, a high chair and the animals in the garden are an attraction. Helen is very friendly and always helps. Thank you, happy to come back!

Peter and Marin’s sea cottage has a beautiful location, with an ever-interesting view of the sea channel into Stockholm. Lovely forest walks nearby. A very memorable stay.

We spent 10 days in the beautiful accommodation. The location is fantastic. Two fantastic lakes within throwing distance, which you can explore directly on foot. The house is just incredibly beautiful. Every detail is thought out, you just feel welcome - everything is prepared as if you are visiting friends. Thanks for that! 🍀

Beautiful and peaceful setting close to town. Welcoming and generous hosts. We kayaked and bird watched. Sauna relaxing and overlooked the water. Maria had great Advice about things to do and places to eat.

I had such a beautiful experience staying here that I can’t stop talking about it to my friends. The island is stunning and with everything that the hosts make available for use, like the kayak, there’s plenty to do. It’s quiet and private, with plenty of areas where to lounge and look at the sunset. The cottage photos don’t make it justice as it’s even more cute and curated than it appears. The hosts are incredibly kind , helpful and down to accomodate requests and necessities. I will always remember this place and keep it in my heart hoping to go back!

Small paradise in the middle of Swedish nature. Jennifer and Linus are lovely and friendly people who let us enjoy their nice guest house with sauna, jetty and a kanoe. I hope to come back some time again.

We had a great stay at Steen and Karen-Helle's place! The house is secluded behind a hill so you are completely free of roads and neighbors. From the large patio you have a great view of the lake. Rustic feeling but with all the modernities you need (fast internet, sound system, smart TV, etc). Plenty of sleeping places. Big plus for the spacious and well-equipped kitchen + 3 barbecues that we could cook hearty dinners in! We thought maybe 1€/wood for the stove/sauna was a bit expensive, but it wasn't that much for us anyway so it didn't matter too much.

Not much to say other than it was a great stay in great surroundings and Langlia did not disappoint. We felt at home from the moment we opened the door and sad the moment we left. Staffan was there virtually when we needed him and you can feel that he cares in all the instructions prior, upon arrival and during stay. Pleasure!

Everything beautiful. Peaceful, lots of nature and animals around and well equipped

The lodge "Oak" is very cozy and comfortable, we found everything we could need. The environment is maintained and tidy. The lodge is private, in the evening cozy outdoor lighting, amazing terrace. Great grill, stocked with all the necessary supplies for grilling. Martin is great at communicating, was easy and easy to communicate with. We hope to come back again!

An amazing, peaceful location. As Australians we had no idea how it would be to stay on an island in Norway. After a first day when we learnt it was important to allow time to get around the island to the ferry (thanks to tardy sheep), we enjoyed several days out to sightsee further afield. The house is most ideal for the wonderful views, hikes and peace of the island but, if you're willing to plan carefully, trips into the Sognfjord region are certainly possible. The cottage was neat and cozy, even better than in the pictures. The cottage was very versatile, because there were two different saunas, a hot tub, a jetty, a boat, a terrace, a hut, a barbecue area, a glazed terrace and three separate cottage buildings. The cottage was peaceful, the neighbouring cottages were not visible and could not be heard. The equipment was great, from kitchen utensils to toys (there was no microwave, but otherwise everything necessary was found and more). We slept in the kitchen cottage bedroom, and the room was dark enough even in June (blackout curtains). The glazed terrace has glass doors that open (with a passage in one section, and a mosquito net in the other), and the entire glazed terrace area is protected from mosquitoes. There was a useful instruction folder in the cottage. The cottage was very clean. Anu communicated very kindly, proactively and informatively. In particular, the driving instructions were good.

We arrived and felt right at home. The house is a dream and the lake right next to it is a great way to explore nature by kayaks or boat. All in all, we had a great time and will be happy to come back. :)

Christian’s cabin is a breathtaking haven by the sea, radiating beauty and tranquility. It offers all the necessary amenities in the kitchen, making it a truly lovely retreat.
