Earth house holiday rentals in Scandinavia

It was a very nice holiday. The house was very nice big, clean and spacious. The kids had enough play opportunities in and around the house and therefore a lot of fun. We will be happy to come back.

It is a beautiful house with nature all around you. The Sauna is really nice. The last 10km can be difficult to drive depending on weather and/or season, but it is worth it. We would come again!

It was by far the most beautiful accommodation we can remember in all our years of travel. Every detail is clever and carefully thought out, you can tell that Sverre built the house with a lot of passion and attention to detail. Underfloor heating! A small oven in the kitchen! Fur on the sofas! Freshly scented bed linen! Slippers! Felt pads for sitting outside! (I can think of 20 other things.) We regret not staying longer (only 2 nights) and will gladly come back. The Hobbit House is worth every kilometre of travel and every Norwegian krone. Thank you Sverre!

We highly recommend a stay in this beautiful and unique house. We found everything in order and enjoyed the many charming and personal details. We loved that we could swim and sail in the lake. Nadezda was welcoming and easy to communicate with.

Had a wonderful stay. We were looking for a rest after having travelled from the Netherlands to the North Cape, which this was perfect for. Super cozy little hut for sleeping, dog was allowed inside also. We made use of the fireplace outside and had a relaxing time. Definitely recommend and we will plan to come back some time in the winter!

Fantastic surroundings outside and inside. An impressive house on a private property, but also very close to the city and the beach. Perfect for relaxation and/or active stay. Morten was quick to respond! We had a perfect stay.

We had a very enjoyable time in Hobbithòlet, with fantastic views! Private and cozy, despite several other glamping within 20 m. Should have made it even clearer that the sauna and hot tub must be paid for separately, but it was well worth the money! (paid 750 NOK for 1.5 hours of sauna and hot tub). Thomas was quick to come and show us around and give info about the sauna, but we missed full digital check-in and info (probably only me who is a people person). All in all, very happy we took the trip! Highly recommended!

Super nice and cozy cabin with all desirable amenities. Lovely area close to cross-country skiing trails. Lovely quietly located despite the ski shooting arena right outside the door… Highly recommend - we would like to come back and experience the cabin and area during the summer period.

Beautiful design and very comfortable. We really enjoyed using the fire pit, and the interior was lovely. Very clean, hope to visit again.

As a lover of comfort as well as beauty & style, this accomodation was almost too perfect to be true! I loved that I could experience nature while also feeling very comfortable, clean and taken care of. It offers a peaceful outside area all to yourself, a jacuzzi and a beautiful interior. Can't forget to mention the kindness of the host. They were very responsive, helpful and even surprised us with a few locally sourced snacks, like fish and potatoes. That little aspect made us feel like we were right at home! A very heartwarming experience - I would recommend this to everyone!
