Lake house holiday rentals in Saxon Switzerland Mountains

The stay with Frank was as we had hoped for: uncomplicated, idyllic, away from the city, clean and incredibly cozy. The space is rather large as shown in the photos and for a tiny house. We had everything we needed and I can only say, from check in to check out there are 5 stars from us.

Very nice landlords who react quickly if something is wrong. House is super equipped and offered us enough space (6 adults, 3 children and 2 babies). The location is great, all excursion destinations can be reached within half an hour. All the usual grocery stores are in the neighbouring village. The location is quiet, directly on a walking path in the countryside. We'd love to come back 😊

Very nice and thoughtful hosts, nice apartment with great views for outdoor breakfast. We didn't miss anything. Only the location directly above the railway line caused us restless sleep.

The apartment is cozy and practical, very clean and has a beautiful, secluded south-facing terrace with a sunshade. The weather was quite cold: the heating in the apartment worked wonderfully well. The location is very quiet. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Pirna centre and to various shopping facilities. Dresden and Saxon Switzerland are easily accessible by car or as a (half-day) tour by bike. Andrea fulfills personal wishes quickly and easily - e.g. we immediately received warmer duvets. Andrea and her husband are nice and uncomplicated and approachable at all times.

Jenny made it possible for us to book 2 nights at very short notice (about 2 hours before check-in!) when we were in need due to an overbooking! 🙏 The house was beautiful, spacious and clean, and offered opportunities for many activities (including a large TV in a cozy living room, dartboard, table football). We had a great stay thank you so much!

There were four of us for two nights, with our two small dogs. The apartment is well-equipped, I lacked storage facilities (dessert and/ or chair) in the bedrooms, but everything is still under construction. The kitchen leaves little to be desired. The bathrooms have a high standard. For dogs it is very nice, but they also cost relatively much for my feeling. The location is fantastic, on the old courtyard surrounded by nature. Some nature also comes into the apartment (some ants and butterflies), at night it is fantastically quiet. The village baker is a real highlight!! All additional services (wood for stove/sauna, washing machine, etc.) will be charged separately. Frank and Anja are really building something very special here.

An absolute gem in Hrensko! What a magical experience we had. Vladimir was a great host, communication, check in went seamlessly. Everything you need is in the little house, super cozy and dog friendly. Great hospitality. Also temperature is easy to regulate yourself via the aircon. Great experience and we are definitely coming back to Hrensko.

Stay at Branzezka was lovely. Clean house with all necessary amenities including nice terrace in plesant garden. Location perfect just right on the touristic paths to the amazing Bohemian Paradise.

The cabin was amazing in itself. You'll be impressed when you arrive, and you know exactly that you want to spend a lot longer time there before your stay takes. The cottage has large spaces and outdoor facilities. So if you want a little peace and privacy, there's no problem “crawling” into the library. When it comes to amenities, there's everything you might need. The kitchen has a coffee maker with a frother, and you'll find a supply of games in the large coffin, like for rainy days. The cottage is in a quiet environment. A short walk from the cottage is a forest and trails. If you still want somewhere else, like the castle, everything is within short driving distance. I'm sure we'd love to come back someday. Thank you.

The host was really amazing in the room, we had clear instructions, and we also got very great recommendations for restaurants nearby where they cook really great. Amazing tips for walking around the neighborhood and where to go in the area. You can really see that your host is enjoying it.

We thank Jana and her husband for the beautiful accommodation, which we used only one night on our trip, but we had a wonderful rest. Perfectly equipped (shared) kitchen, private beautiful room with bathroom - all very clean. Thank you so much for being able to stay with dogs. :-) P.S. I would just recommend guests not to rely on the local pub, which is right next door, about the food, but the service and drink is perfect:-)

We spent about 1.5 weeks in Sandra's Finnhütte and would have liked to move in directly. The Finnhütte has everything you need to live. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We had a very nice stay at this cottage! Everything was exactly as described – cozy, very clean and simple, but well equipped. Communication with the host was quick, friendly and helpful at all times. The fireplace provided cosy warmth and a particularly cosy atmosphere in the evening. Central heating would have been available on request, but we didn't need it. The problem with the shower mentioned in previous reviews seems to have been resolved in the meantime – showering worked without any problems for us, with a constantly pleasant water temperature. The small kitchen with the 2-burner stove was, as described, absolutely sufficient for simple dishes. The surroundings were very quiet - the seaside resort was not yet in operation, which contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. Overall a completely successful stay! We would come back anytime and can fully recommend the house.

Family holiday with 8 people. The listing is exactly as advertised by the landlord. Clean kitchen, bathroom. Lovingly made beds and the covered jacuzzi overlooking nature is an oasis of well-being. We felt very comfortable. Thank you

We were at Martin's accommodation on Father's Day 2025. There's nothing missing there. Everything is present and intact. House has a nice size for 4-5 people. Everything would also be there for children. The area is great for excursions, hikes and generally for all those who like active holidays ;) Thanks to Martin ;)
