If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace of nature, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

Apartment at the sheltered end of the former village school. The apartment has a kitchen, an open bedroom and a bathroom. Sleeps four. Double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The apartment has a teacher's platform and outdoor stairs, so it is not accessible. The outdoor sauna is heated for an additional fee. The apartment is located in a quiet area, 8 km from the city center. The rest of the building is for the host's own use. There is room in the yard to stay and, for example, barbecue. The apartment has a private entrance, balcony, sauna and fully equipped kitchen. On the wall of the hallway, there is an air heat pump to ensure a comfortable temperature in summer and winter. The apartment is decorated with green plants. Free parking also in summer! Please note that this apartment is also my home. As a result, most of the cabinets are for my personal belongings.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

Mini-house on the shore of Lake Saimaa

You will always remember the rugged landscape of this destination. The property is located near Kolovesi National Park on the shores of Saimaa Pyyvesi. The property has stunning views, but it is only about 300 meters from the paved country road. There are neighbors on the property. The mini-house was completed in 2025 and the sauna in the adjacent building dates back to 2024. The accommodation is ideal for those interested in hiking, cycling, fishing and paddling.

Renovated historic cottage

By the waters of Kalainen, the historic ferry house delights in Savonranta by the Oriväri river connecting Paasvesi and Pyyvesi. The house has been completely renovated and the environment restored to its new splendor. The property has two kayaks, a rowboat and the possibility to rent a tub (in summer) and a motorboat, as well as fishing guide services! Our company's professional fishing uses the jetty at the cottage, so the fish are transported through the jetty.
