In this Basque house, you will have access to this 115 m2 apartment, mixing tradition and modernity, wood and solid parquet floors as well as a 20 m2 suspended terrace facing the mountains and overlooking a pretty corner of greenery. The other part of the house is our living space, and myself and my little family (Imanol 14 years old, Ines 11 years old) appreciate being able to interact in a friendly manner with our guests. A 17th century house, the Altxua house (Aulnaie in Basque) was renovated in 2006 and offers an independent upstairs apartment with its private terrace (with barbecue). It is a short walk from the village of Ascain and all shops (800 m), 10 minutes from the sea and its beaches, golf courses and is the starting point for many hiking trails including the one leading to the Rhune. In summary: a quiet, relaxing place but close to all the points of interest of the Basque Country.
