If you want to be surrounded by warmth and hospitality, then this incredible place is for you! If you love farm-fresh breakfast made with love & nature, look no more! Theres so many things to do from swimming & fishing to zip lining and interacting with the animals; every moment was a treasure! Our daughter got to gather eggs with Mrs. Klara, and we even got to take the eggs home! The cabin was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed and more. The breakfasts were sublime, with biscuits and gravy being our absolute favorite! All the animals are very friendly and easy to interact with, the barn behind the cabin was awesome! We'd wake up each morning, sip coffee, and spend quality time with the donkeys, emus, pigs, and sheep. Remember, this is an animal sanctuary, and the animals may make noise throughout the night and early morning. However, this didn't disturb us one bit! So, if you're not fond of the sounds of animals living, keep on movin! We will absolutely return!

If I could give a 10-star review, I would. I absolutely loved this location. It was exactly what my husband and I needed for a peaceful, private and very remote vacation stay. David is a wonderful host. I appreciate him sharing this beautiful property with those of us who don't have access to such a private and remote location. While I loved the inside of the cabin, I was really drawn to the surroundings. I had real hard time sitting still for very long as I explored the inner yard and then outer yard of the property. Such a wonderful space. I really did not want to leave. The cabin was clean and beyond well stocked with all the amenities you need to keep a person comfortable. David was very responsive to any question I had or issue that may have popped up (power went out due to storms), but no biggie. I really all the action figures that were hidden here and there amongst the trees. They were positioned like guardians on the lookout. Very clever! Thank you, David!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Heath’s place! The views were amazing, and it was just “out there” enough for what we wanted in our little weekend family getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub (which is covered and just across the gravel drive from the house) and the rocking chairs on the porch overlooking the lake! It was definitely buggy, so bring your bug spray and repellant devices for outside time! This is a total me-thing and not a criticism of Heath, but the house does not have ceiling fans! There is a box fan in the bedroom to compensate, but for fan addicts like myself, this might matter! :) I was very appreciative of the consideration to supply the box fan. Bathrooms were clean and nice, water pressure and temp was great. The beds are modest - Queen size I think - but extremely comfy! All in all a great stay! There were spices, dishes, and adequate utensils in the kitchen, but no storage supplies like ziplocks or plastic wrap so plan ahead if you’ll be cooking! Thanks so much Heath!

Great cabin for family and friends. Close to the trails and the lake. 5 stars in my book.

The cabin was lovely and secluded, offering a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Large windows throughout the cabin offer a tranquil snapshot of the natural world, some of which comes knocking for entry (if you think you packed enough bug spray: double it). The kitchen is stocked with the basics, and groceries can be found about a 20 minute drive away. All in all, it is quite an enjoyable place to spend a weekend. We will be back!

My family greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was exactly as shown in the pictures. There was plenty to do at the cabin which was nice since it rained most of our stay. We made a lot of use of the covered patio and the fire pit. The kids area in the loft was a lot of fun. The only thing that we hoped for but was not able to do was fish in the creek. We didn't know what to expect so we brought our fishing rods but the creek was bigger than we expected and the rocky shore made it so we couldn't figure out how fish. This could be due to the very rainy Spring. The creek does not hurt our rating of the cabin. Just wanted to help other guests have a vision of the on property creek. The hosts were very helpful and gave us a lot of information prior to arrival. I appreciated this as we planned our trip. We would stay at this cabin again! It made for a great family vacation.

We had a very pleasant stay. The property was exactly as described and Jessica was very responsive. It's a prfect place tucked in nature for a quiet getaway.

This cabin is the most clean comfortable Air Bnb we have stayed in thus far! Susan was so helpful also! I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for peaceful, comfortable, clean and inviting place to stay!
