Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Santa Margherita Ligure

We had a great time at Caterina’s place. 6 of us stayed there and was great to all have our own bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The house and gardens had plenty of space to mingle together or to spread out and do our own thing. The location was so peaceful and the views incredible. Not great if you struggle with walking uphill and there are lots of steps to and from the train station and village. Although there is a shuttle bus. Was great to visit all the Cinque Terre towns but not to stay in the hustle and bustle. Great stay and can’t thank Caterina enough, it is a beautiful place to stay!

Lovely cottage with private outdoor space. Host had provided us with many tips about the public transport and the amenities nearby. Bus stops practically on the doorstep. In short, an ideal stay where we enjoyed ourselves.

The apartment is on two floors, is modern and well equipped. In the kitchen, everything you need and also basics like salt, pepper and olive oil were available. The deck is so beautiful. You have to walk a lot of stairs, but the house is right by the sea on the beach promenade and the harbour with ferry is right next door. Arrival by train was easy, the apartment is only a few minutes' walk from the train station.

Matteo is an incredible host! He acted as a guide and showed us around the village, pointing out the best places to eat and great walks to get the best views, as well as showing us the beach. He went out of his way to make us comfortable. What a lovely guy! We felt completely spoiled! The house was immaculately clean and has a lovely courtyard that’s very private and comfortable to sit under the orange trees. There were ample beds and the kitchen was well appointed. Highly recommended!! Gorgeous little village too with excellent food!

Just spent a very special week at Villa Rosa with my husband,sons, and daughters-in-law. It was a magical house and we felt so at home and comfortable. We cooked one night and ate out on the patio with the incredible view of the city and canyon below. What made it so easy was the generous communication with Patricia. She was great. We fell in love with Camogli. Yes, there are lots of steps down to town, but it’s delightful! Bring your walking shoes! We’d love to come back!

Amazing location in the heart of San Lorenzo! A 15 minute walk to the local cafe and restaurant and beautiful views. Huge outdoor space and large apartment. We stayed for a few months and sometimes rented the apartment upstairs for when we had guests visiting. Very peaceful and we felt at home. You need a car if staying here as it’s a lot of stairs to the local village so not for the faint hearted however we walked up them most days with our 2 year old. Thanks for a great stay

This was one of the most amazing Airbnb experiences. The house itself is gorgeous, exactly like the photos, secluded, and surrounded by breathtaking views. There was no noise pollution, making it the perfect place to relax. The home was beautifully maintained, filled with family history and love. The garden is huge, and the hammock was a highlight, we spent hours just lounging and enjoying the scenery. The town is perfect for visiting nearby towns. But the true highlight of our stay was our host. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. From offering to pick us up and drop us off at the train station, to providing fantastic local recommendations, she made our trip unforgettable. As a group of girls we felt incredibly safe knowing she was always available to answer any questions or help out. Donatella is sweet, fun, and thoughtful. You can trust her recommendations they never missed the mark! So grateful for this experience and couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks!!

Custu Giancu was a complete oasis. Surrounded by beautiful nature, quiet and peaceful. Its location is quite remote so this is the perfect place to wind down and recharge. The house was well equipped with everything you need for cooking, barbecuing etc. Claudia and Dado were extremely helpful and kind, providing local recommendations and always available.

Nice guests, nice apartment, I think it's the only one in the building that has a garden, quiet and nice environment, free private parking, to be highly recommended, especially the swimming pool at the sports club next to the residence, where you can also find food! Then, regarding Rapallo, it is also to be recommended, a beautiful town, quite cheap, if you have to go to the sea I would recommend the beach of San Michele where you can go by bus or car, then its path to the north of the beach, which is very quiet and perfect for a nice swim! And of course the Rapallo promenade, perfect for families! Thanks again for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect stay for a couple of days, very quiet and a clean and slightly quirky apartment. It’s worth noting that the stairs to the bedroom really are steep; we came down backwards and couldn’t get our bags up the stairs. Having said that the room was lovely and airy. We enjoyed the walk down into Camolgli but it is a bit of a hike back up.! Loved the bonus of the local open air swimming pool and super friendly staff.

Fantastic villa. One of the best kept gardens we have seen. Unbelievable view. Well functioning house. Good location in the area. Bring some smaller luggage instead of one big one. There are 140 steps to the villa from the car

We had a lovely stay at Vittorio’s apartment. The apartment is clean, modern, spacious, attractively decorated, and quiet . It is located close to the centre of Rapallo, which is a great stepping off point for visiting the other towns and villages of the Italian Riviera, We would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful part of Italy.

Pierangelo was extremely kind, available and always responsive. The accommodation is peaceful with a stunning view and an amazing pool. We had an incredible time and can’t wait to be back!

Lothar is a great host with plenty of tips for the area who will go the extra mile to make your stay pleasant and memorable. The house and infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean Sea is simply great. Walking distance is well described and Lothar will pick up your luggage by quad. We will be back.

Roberto was a great host with a wonderful apartment that had a beautiful view of the harbor. He went out of his way to monitor our train schedule and was aware of train delays, so he was able to meet up with us when we arrived at his apartment. He responded to us quickly when we texted him any questions. We highly recommend his apartment as he was a great host

Great host, and perfect location, lovely terrace, it’s a more traditional / older Italian style apartment with a simple kitchen and bathroom but is perfect for exploring a fantastic part of the world. If wanting to explore some places a little away from too many tourists, lovely little beach and fantastic value restaurants at Bagni Pagana in between Margherita and Rapallo. Also in Rapallo itself recommend getting Frito misto in the port at Sapore D’aMare

Beautiful accommodation with a very large terrace overlooking the sea. The view was magnificent! The beach and a small bistro are right next to the house. The train station, a small grocery store and bakery are within walking distance. Grace was very friendly and always available.

Amazing stay in Santa Margherita 🤩 the location was central, the property so comfortable. Our host was so responsive and shared recommendations for restaurants, bakeries and the weekly market!

Our short trip to Boccadasse was simply wonderful! A large part of this was contributed by the perfectly located accommodation, very clean, cosy, tasteful and furnished with a lot of heart. Fantastic attic from every point of view: beautiful and quiet setting, brand new furnishings (super equipped and everything is beautiful, clean and functional!!), great location a stone's throw from everything and at the same time quiet and out of the chaos. Finally, very kind and helpful Host! I recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be back.

Massimilano was a friendly and helpful host. We enjoyed a long weekend in Santa Margherita - a great place for exploring and hiking in the area of Portofino. There's a stair path to the right of the apartment making it accessible to the town without transport if you're feeling energetic.

This is truly a unique place. The accommodations are amazing. It's a sin to be here for less than 4 days. I'll be honest, the photos don't capture the whole aesthetics of this place. We will definitely come back here 10/10 !!!!!
