Cosy house on a huge meadow in the peaceful valley below Santa-Lucia-di-Mercurio. Its beautiful views ranges from Monte Cardo and snow covered mountains on one side, to Macchia-covered hills and the village of Santa-Lucia on the other. The property is directly accessible via car. The non-paved access road is a bit rough and even crosses a small stream, but can easily be done with a regular car and a little caution. Kitchen and rooms were well-equipped. Nothing we missed. Pierre was an exceptionally kind host, who welcomed us in person, even though he had to travel from Ajaccio and we arrived later than announced. He prepared a variety of local products for us and even had milk and eggs. For the kids, he bought badminton rackets and a swim ring. Absolutely unique!

It's an old house with creaky floors and antiquated amenities, but that's what makes its charm. With its wonderful open fire place and absence of Wi-Fi, it felt like a very healthy return to times immemorial. Carole was also so kind as to prepare 4 bedrooms for us, and she gave us local beer and canistelli cookies. Our preferred place in Corsica

The view from the balcony overlooking Corte and the mountains in the background is beautiful The location of the listing is ideal for access to a multitude of outdoor activities such as hikes around Corte, swimming points, canyoning, etc ... It's nice to have a parking space and not have to turn for hours in high season The apartment is brand new, comfortable, and tastefully decorated Jean-François is a great host, we enjoyed chatting with him and he was able to give us tips for hikes Without hesitation we will come back to Jean-François if we return to Corte!
