Great place to stay; especially if you have pets. Nice backyard. It was very homey and clean.

What a beautiful home! We had such a peaceful and lovely time. The cabin had absolutely everything we needed, plus more. It made for the perfect quiet and cozy new year celebration. The hot tub was a dream and the little town area was so cute. Corina was a wonderful host, responsive and welcoming. Definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future! Had a absolute wonderful stay! Stayed with my partner and 6 month old. It was warm out but we stayed nice and cool in the home and the walk down to the village was great! Our little one also swam in the pool for the first time! The home and surrounding areas were beautiful and we definitely soaked in the beauty of nature in comfort. Extremely grateful for the stay and looking forward to next time!

Great stay for me and my pup. Location was perfect for visiting Carrizo, Pinos and surrounding areas. Joy was very responsive and had excellent recommendations.

Cozy cabin was a great basecamp for our family. We loved the loft upstairs, the place had everything we needed, and we felt right at home. Nice location to explore Pine Mountain Club - beautiful hikes abound just at the end of the street. Enjoyed it!

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!

Mona's place is very peaceful, quiet, relaxing, and very reasonably priced. The sound of water flowing from the creek in back and birds singing was lovely. We walked to the main hub of stores and entertainment. There were spiders and wildlife around as expected because it is in a national forest, so you may not like it if you don't like nature. I thought the chipmunks were cute to watch from the window. Mona's place was very cozy and I will definitely be coming back someday!

My husband and I had an amazing time in Asher’s cabin for a two night stay for our anniversary. His cabin is expertly curated and is comfortable and welcoming. Asher was very communicative and answered quickly every time we messaged back and forth. We used the grill and ate outdoors and stargazed while relaxing in the hot tub. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Another note - he has a Tushy bidet installed on the toilet! I travel with a portable bidet and was floored and ecstatic to see the Tushy installed! We will absolutely come here again! Asher’s cabin is perfect for a two person getaway.

Jolie and the cabin were amazing! Great with communication and desired to make sure we had everything we needed, even willing to go above and beyond most other places. My boyfriend and I had a great time!

I had such a good stay here - it was quiet and peaceful, but also felt nice to have Heidi, the dogs, and other guests around. The sunset at the cabin was amazing. I personally loooved the outdoor shower. I woke up the second morning to the cutest basset hound laying outside my door and we had some cuddles. Heidi's place is perfect if you want a chill quiet place to explore Topanga and the beaches nearby and don't need a luxury experience. The unbeatable natural surroundings, comfy bed, and unique cabin are luxury enough. Thanks Heidi for sharing your inspiring place everyone :)

Martha was a terrific host. The place is simply gorgeous with floor to ceiling windows in the living room that presents the most majestic view. Another previous guest made a comment about the glare affecting TV viewing in the living room, but we didn’t experience that. My family, with 2 little boys, loved playing in the individual spaces that brought so much character to the place. Wonderful place to just unplug. We’ll definitely be back soon!

It was exactly as advertised - super cozy. The atmosphere inside and outside was a perfect getaway from the city. Everything was clean, and we truly hung out and rejuvenated in the beautiful environment. Communication and logistics with the host were effortless. The value was good. Being out there at night was magical. The only bummer was that my adult son and friends were crazy about the kids' space, but it was too big for them - LOL! We would highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a retreat of this kind.

beautiful home with tons of fun for kids and adults. home was extremely comfortable with very high comfort beds and bedding and lots of extra sleeping areas. very well set up with everyone in mind. jacuzzi only goes to 99° but was still relaxing. some privacy around jacuzzi would be nice but the scenery from the jacuzzi is gorgeous. lots of skylights and natural lighting. Great place to spend time with family and not worry about electronics. highly recommend staying here Gabriella is a great host who responds right quickly

This place is an absolute gem. It has this incredible rustic mid century vibe. The architecture is amazing, I found myself just staring at the wooden beams while sitting inside. There’s very nice sunken living room with an impressive stone fireplace. Everything has been meticulously cared for and is very clean. The beds and lines are comfortable and bathrooms accommodating. The outside grounds are beautiful as well. We really liked all the stone work throughout the property. Our host Jamie was perfect. If you plan on staying in Wrightwood and this property is available, book it!

A unique space in a great location!

Wonderful experience. Fabulous place. Vincent and his family are a pleasure, and the room, full of sweet and interesting items, colorful, with a great bed, is on a gorgeous terrace with lush and planted huge cactus bougainvillea and agave. Great place.

A calm, private oasis away from the hustle and bustle of LA. Check in could not have been easier. The place looks exactly like the photos, has everything you need to cook, and we had the best sleep of our lives. The shower is also really fabulous and stocked with clean products. Parvin is super responsive for anything you need, and an amazingly caring host. The private patio is such a lovely touch! Not only is the neighborhood walkable (with coffee shops and restaurants nearby) but I was also able to make it to the beaches in Playa del Rey, Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, Venice, etc. so easily - all without getting on the freeway and dealing with the crazy LA traffic. Also, if you travel with a pet - you really can't find a better place to stay. My dog didn't want to leave!

Therese is an excellent hostess, she checked in several times by text to make sure everything was good. The cabin is immaculate and met our needs perfectly. Downtown is about ten minute drive and the cabin is located in a rural neighborhood. There is a beautiful hike located nearby at the top of Sisar.

Cabin in the hills! The listing isn't lying about daily hummingbirds. A great cozy cabin hanging off a mountain. Great views, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Really leafy, green views. Loved it. Do wish there was a barbecue!

FANTASTIC VIEWS!! Loved all the movies!! My only complaint is the tiny toilet in the master bath. Really enjoyed the heated bed pad on chilly nights!
