Me and my friends had a wonderful stay at Hazel’s place. Checking in was easy and convenient. The house was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a family or a few friends. Very lovely area with beautiful surroundings. Wish we could’ve stayed a lot longer. Thank you!

Bega Cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We had all we needed for our stay. Car-parking, railway station & pub are all easily accessible. Carrie was always attentive & helpful. There's plenty of good walking in the area.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough!! Janice is a dream Airbnb host, her responses are extremely quick, the house itself was super clean and furnished beautifully. It has absolutely everything you need inside. Janice kindly left us bread, milk, juice, fruit and more!! We enjoyed our stay so much we extended another night. The location is great if you’re looking to climb Scafell Pike, I’d say it’s under a 40 min drive and Lake Buttermere is the same (also a very scenic drive). There was Netflix/Prime etc on the TV and board games to hand. We found it extremely cosy and luckily the sun came out so we could make the most of the garden for an evening. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough. Thanks Janice - we would definitely love to return!
