The End is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The End is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps TWO ADULTS and TWO CHILDREN. It has a large shared garden, unique kitchen and lounge, bathroom and ONE large bedroom (a King and two single sofa beds). The End is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

This makes an ideal base for the Western Lakes with great walks right from your doorstep with the C2C cycle route going through the village. The cottage offers a tranquil location with stunning views a real Home away from Home.

The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
