Juliabuda is located in Haugsbygda on Gurskøya. Juliabuda was built in the 1860s, and we can offer an atmospheric stay in this authentic seaside cottage where there has been a herring salting plant, a post office and a shop. Sjøbuda has a jetty where you can go boating or enjoy the view of the fjord and the islands in the strait. The area has many beautiful excursion areas both by the fjord and on mountain heights at 600-700 metres above sea level, with both easy and more difficult terrain. This is the advertisement for the smallest of two apartments in Juliabuda.

Great place to vacation both in glorious summer weather and in autumn storms. A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene, between Ørsta and Ålesund lies this unique waterfront house. A perfect starting point for mountain hiking and other attractions in Sunnmøre. Within an hour or two you can reach famous places such as Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Loen and the amazing bird island Runde. The Atlantic Park in Ålesund is also worth a visit.
