Philip has been a great host, and we had an incredible stay. Not only was the house absolutely stunning, but the location couldn’t be better. Despite the weather still being chilly - the house felt warm and inviting, my favourite was enjoying the sea views from the comfort of the house while sipping my morning coffee. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this place feel like a home. We’ve travelled with two young kids and everything we needed was already there. The welcome treats were a big bonus! We’ve enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco with our friends on arrival. I hope we can return soon.

It's a small but great property with everything you need. There's no shower but the bath is lovely! There are fantastic restaurants within walking distance and nice walks along the beach. The local bus service is great and the connections from Ventnor to the rest of the island are easily accessed and reasonably frequent. This is definitely a great option if you are looking to stay anywhere on the south coast of the IoW.

Another fantastic stay at The Salt Shack! We absolutely love it there, each visit has been consistently successful, the house has been beautiful and clean with great things for kids to do. We struggled to leave as my 3 year old announced she “wanted to live here forever” and wouldn’t get in the car! It really is a fabulous place to stay and has plenty to do in the local area, the beach is an easy walk and Chichester is a short drive away. Highly recommend The Salt Shack! We’ll definitely be back again! ☺️

This was our second stay. Everything was as nice as we remembered from our first visit. The flat is spacious and well-appointed, the location is private and quiet, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. What more could you ask for in an AirBnB?

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. Lovely house, great location in town close to beach and shops/restaurants. Our favourite bit was the deck at the back of the house with the view out to the sea! Kathryn was a model host- communicative, helpful. Would heartily recommend!

We were looking for somewhere in the New Forest area to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This house was perfect for us all, 8 adults and 5 grandchildren. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. The house has everything you need and more, fully fitted kitchen with massive island and dinning table. All rooms were spotless as well as the many toilets and bathrooms. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool was a big bonus, perfect size and depth for our Grandchildren and very warm. It also had a padlocked gate to keep the little ones out when playing in the garden. Our host Katie was brilliant from start to finish keeping us updated on the stay and very responsive to messages. She provided a welcome food pack of sausages, bacon, bread and essentials which was really appreciated. Katie even took the time to let our grandchildren help her feed her horses. Can’t wait to return!

Lovely accommodation, in a good location and with plenty of amenities. the hosts were helpful and even helped us book the ferry tickets. We would definitely stay again.

Very homely and very well stocked caravan. Nice and quiet when we stayed. Parking space at the side big enough for 2 cars. Samantha was very helpful and very responsive to messages. Activity passes included making this a very reasonably priced place to stay.

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

We loved the lodge and this was the 2nd time we had come back. The windows were filthy, and there was cobwebs inside and out and just wasn’t very clean. We came back as the first time we thought it was beautiful. The skirting boards and bathrooms were grubby. Apart from it being dirty, for the amount charged, would have thought it would have been as nice as the first time we came.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The added luxuries throughout the house were a great touch. From the snack basket, to the toiletries and the barbecue supplies. Everything was easy to use and welcoming. The uniqueness of having exclusive and nearby access to a pool and hot tub in a small property was perfect for our young family. We can put the kids to bed and enjoy the amenities together while making sure the kids are OK - something not possible in hotels and other resorts. The space was great. Clean, well-stocked and had everything you'd need for a summer retreat. The combination of the pool, dog, BBQ, pizza oven and included games meant our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time - us too. Definitely a winning combo. Thanks for having us!

We had a great stay here walking a young puppy on the private beach. The surroundings are peaceful and there were plenty of friendly dogs to meet. Andrew and Kirsty were great hosts and quick to help us out when the shower needed a new washer.

Liza was a great host and very responsive and informative. The chalet was easily walkable to the beach and local town, place was spotless with lovely comfy beds! milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were all left for us too, which was really thoughtful.

Charlotte and Tony were so friendly and helpful and the Cabin was perfect for our needs. It was lovely and quiet but within easy walking distance of Seaview village. The Cabin was very well equipped and we really appreciated all the extra touches and treats ! Our two little dogs also had a great time ! Thank you for a lovely holiday.

What a gem! We felt instantly at home the moment we arrived. The apartment was beautifully appointed, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. We're so glad we chose to stay here and will absolutely return on our next visit to the island.

We had a lovely stay here. The house is beautiful, immaculate, and had everything we needed. We had a couple of issues with the shower and hot tub, but Sharron was very quick to respond and they were resolved within a couple of hours. The location is excellent - right by the beach and family activities such as go karts, a playground and crazy golf. Would highly recommend.

We have just come home from our second stay at Wishing Well. As before, it’s spotlessly clean. An open airy lounge, diner and kitchen greet you on the first floor with lovely countryside views and on the ground floor you will find two beautiful en-suite bedrooms with very comfy beds. Brilliantly located with Appley beach just a five minute drive away. Isle of Wight distillery is just next door offering the delicious mermaid gin and a small but really good menu. Nicola and Penny are wonderful hosts and very proactive when answering messages nothing is too much trouble. We love returning here and are already booked in again for two weeks later in the year.

Really lovely staying. Perfect place, well equipped, clean, host very welcoming, communicative, left house very tidy and wrote tips about surroundings also left tea, food and some supplies. We felt home. Definitely will be coming back.
