Maria's place was wonderful! It perfectly suited all our needs: a designated car parking space; quick and easy access to both Chania old town and the motorway (making west coast beaches very reachable); privacy (with your own outside area); seperate air-con in the bedroom and the living space; all the amenities you might need (washing machine and hair dryer) and even unexpected extras like Maria's homemade hot pizza, chocolate treats, sweets and raki that were waiting for us after our late flight in! We immediately felt welcome! 💙 Maria herself was so warm and caring. She was always on the end of a message if we ever had any questions or needed recommendations, and she even dropped off fresh vegetables from her garden for us to enjoy. She really went above and beyond our expectations! 🩵 This is a gem and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting beautiful Chania.

Well the home is newly built and spotless and everything is new! The bed mattress is for restful sleep and the sheets are pure Egyptian cotton, the best!! Stavros and Maria are a young couple and they are very friendly, like his father, very helpful in everything we needed and everything we asked filled us with goodies of their own production!!! Souda is a few kilometers away from Chania and for us who were looking for quiet it was the best!!! The hosts are great and I highly recommend it!!! Thank you so much for your beautiful!!!

The place was very nice and the view bombastic. You can see the sunrise from the balcony. A dream. I loved that I had my own parking space, which was very large. So my car was always in good hands. George had provided great tips, e.g. a beach, about 1 hour away by car, which I would never have noticed otherwise and was simply fantastic. I'm a newbie in Crete, my first time and George's great tips made it really nice for me. Another highlight is the apple tree in the farm. I joked an apple every now and then, I hope that was ok.

The flat was perfect, especially if you have a rental car. It was a great base to explore Crete, enjoy the proximity from Chania, and come back home by the end of the day. It's very spacious and has a home feeling, very well equipped, extra clean. We were even able to cook some nice food in the oven. Definitely worth a stay, keep in mind it is not in the city center though.
