Tiny house holiday rentals in San Jose

We loved Chantelises's place! It was a little oasis. We loved the garden, flowers, goats, chickens, and ponds. Also, our 13 year old lived on the trampoline! We also loved the cabin we stayed in. It was adorable and cozy. At night, we turned on the little space heater, which looked like a wood burning stove, and it not only added warmth, but added even more to the wonderful atmosphere. Personally, I enjoyed sitting outside on the chair swing listening to the birds and watching the goats and chickens. It was truly magical.

I've stayed in at least a half dozen other airbnb places in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area over the last years, and this location was by far the nicest. It's very quiet and nicely appointed; easy parking and easy access; close to downtown Palo Alto; and above all, Bob was a wonderful host. Very easy to communicate and responses were almost instantaneous. I hope to have the chance to stay again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

⸻ I had such a wonderful two-week stay at the farm. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly—especially the sweet little black cat named Teva, who wore a green collar and quickly became a favorite companion. Toni was so kind and responsive, always making sure everything was just right. The farm felt very safe and peaceful throughout my stay. Being in a cabin on a farm, a few bugs are to be expected, but it wasn’t an issue—I came prepared with essential oils, which worked well to keep them at bay. The cabin itself is cozy and compact, but the many windows let in so much natural light that it felt bright and open. The shower was great too—good water pressure and ventilation, though it might be a bit snug for some. Overall, it’s a lovely little escape—close enough to San Jose for convenience, but with a feeling of peaceful seclusion that makes it feel like a true retreat.

Victoria’s little cottage was a comfortable and cozy hidden gem! In a great location with some incredibly cute and friendly dogs. We were in town looking for housing as it was a peaceful place to unwind after long days of house hunting! Thank you Victoria for your friendliness and hospitality. Such a serene location! Nestled amongst the trees, this Airbnb will have you feeling like you’re a world away without being far from amenities at all. My husband and I enjoy staying here tremendously. The place was spotless and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lea was one of the friendliest hosts I’ve ever come across and made us feel warm and welcomed. Can’t wait to visit again!

this was such a luxurious, relaxing stay! sparkling clean, smelled fresh and looked like no one had ever stayed before me. there’s perfectly placed storage for everything, beautiful applinces, a dreamy shower and extra comfy + cozy furniture. you can open it up to feel even bigger with the patio, i enjoyed most of my meals and wine out there with a book. this space was a reprieve for me with enough nature to relax without committing to being outdoorsy. the property as a whole is beautiful and secluded while remaining conveniently located— i love having the combination of privacy but a nearby host as a solo traveler to feel comfortable. do yourself a favor and stay here with your partner, bestie or take a solo couple days off like i did. PS — any plant based friends MUST try Blossom & Root in downtown Danville, amazing food and drinks!

If you ever wanted to try out staying in a tiny home, this is the place! The surroundings are beautiful and it’s a super peaceful place. Perfect spot in La Honda for one or two people with a real kitchen.

This place was amazing, recently moving from another stay we had to rent for 2 weeks while we waited for our things. This place had everything we could have needed. If you have dogs Ela’s place will be perfect for you, the backyard is fenced and my dogs loved it. The location is also great as there are a lot of stores, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

This continues to be a lovely place to stay and our favourite in the region. We have stayed at this location a few times over the past few years. The care and cleanliness are kept up and the garden is always beautiful. This season it was yellow roses and blossoms on the strawberry plants. Thanks Tamara and Tim for your extra help with a parcel delivery. We hope to return on another trip.

This was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and sharing a space with the owners, and I was completely blown away, we both felt right at home, so much so we didn’t wanna leave haha. Victor and Michelle gave us our privacy but also complete freedom to play music, relax on the patio, and roam around their absolutely beautiful backyard. We were able to come and go as we please and always know our things would be safe. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bed was extra comfy and the shower was a DREAM, the whole experience was incredibly cozy and peaceful. This was truly the best place we both have ever stayed, 1000% would recommend!!!

I had a great stay! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and relaxed. Though the place is small it makes extremely good use of the room available. Being situated in the backyard, there is a good feeling of privacy and one can also be sitting outside for breakfast or to work. I can only recommend the place.

Nice little cabin in the woods, big comfy bed, cozy. My dog and enjoyed walking the creek behind the cabin.

Great stay for 8 days at this little garden retreat. Angel was a great on site host and accommodated any of my asks very quickly. The studio was perfect for me as a solo traveler and the gardens were a lovely respite to all the hubbub of my week in the bay. Loved chatting with the chickens in the morning and even got a couple eggs. Perfect for a laid back traveler who wants a little oasis close to Bart. Will definitely stay again and telling all my friends about it! Thank you!

Lovely cozy Casita in a beautiful garden on a quiet street! Host was very pleasant and helpful. Great neighbor with restaurants and gourmet markets within walking distance.

Overall, I had a great stay at the cottage! In a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood (great for walking your dog). The cottage itself was spacious - loved the mini-split AC units and the small enclosed front yard. Highly recommend staying here while in the bay!

Linda was the best host I’ve ever had!!! My girlfriend and I spent just a night here to celebrate our anniversary and I have to say that I wish we could’ve stay longer here at the Ohana suite. Linda was super nice and explained all the outdoor items so we could use. We’re definitely going to come back again because this place looks way better in person and couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else while in Aptos than this place right here

This home is an architectural & experiential gem in the hills above Berkeley. The house itself is a marvel, with lots of artistic details, and the outdoor space has ample places to enjoy the sun as it moves through the sky during the day. The views of the Bay are exceptional, and the overall surroundings are really peaceful. Bonnie is an excellent host, she's responsive and thoughtful, especially with offering lots of local recommendations. So grateful to enjoy this beautiful home!

We love this tiny home, it feels really cozy and you can’t never get bored in this house. There is a bbq, Jacuzzi , and fire outside of the house. The host is very nice and communicate with us through out the stay . The place is nice and clean. If we got a chance to come back we will definitely stay here again 💯

It's always a plus to have a responsive, kind host. Not only was the place so cute but the host is awesome. I had to being an additional guest and the host was very understanding about it. I loved how cozy the place felt. I slept very well after a long day. The patio area is a plus and the views are amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again when in the area.
