Villa holiday rentals in San Giovanni del Pantano

Rosanna e suo marito sono due splendide persone. La loro casetta è una vera perla nei boschi, perfetta per coloro che cercano pace e distacco dalla vita cittadina. La casa ha un potenziale enorme che, d’estate, può essere sfruttato pienamente (c’è una grande piscina nel giardino sul retro). I principali luoghi da visitare sono piuttosto vicini, ci si muove in auto tra Umbria e Toscana senza problemi. I Servizi (bar e supermercati) sono a 5 minuti. Siamo stati benissimo ed anche il nostro cane, Puck, si è subito sentito a casa.

This was the finest AirBNB home that we've ever stayed in. Every room was immaculate, the views were incredible (private and among vineyards, you can see for miles), every appliance and fixture seemed new. Everything was anticipated to make the stay perfect.....a refrigerator, bathroom and shower at the beautiful pool, pool towels in each bedroom, etc. As soon as you walk into this house, you are going to go "wow", and for good reason. Francesca came and cooked us a delicious local dinner and did some light grocery shopping for us.....all for an unreasonably LOW fee. We had another chef team come in on another night. We also visited a local winery where we had a fantastic, private wine tasting tour and lunch (Tenuta Vitalonga) and followed that up with touring Orvieto and having dinner at a very unique restaurant (Le Grotte del Funaro). Make sure you have a car or are using a bus/limo service for your transportation, nothing is walkable from this beautiful private house.

An amazing hideaway in the hills! Takes you into holiday mode & switching off in the beautiful setting surrounded by nature & incredible views. So glad we booked & would love to go back again. Paulo, and family, were so helpful, kind & responsive. The area whilst quiet is very welcoming to tourists & we met many friendly people who would always help us out on our way. The house itself is stunning & huge. The bathrooms are dated but they work fine & everything functions as it should so it really isn’t a problem so don’t be put off by that. The linens are incredible & the beds very comfortable. Air conditioning works well. Kitchen well equipped & house has an abundance of space and beautiful furniture to relax in, inside and out. Honestly the scenery outside was incredible & we spent every minute we could outside which is a shame only because the house was also beautiful. The pool was fabulous & it was hot enough that heating wasn’t needed.Didn’t use sauna or spa,needed longer! Miss it!

I cannot say enough about our trip to Martino’s villa. What a lovely villa in the cute town of San Casciano dei Bagni. We had a great family vacation, enjoying some of the smaller towns and a visit to Montepulciano . We enjoyed Eleanor’s cooking for us two nights- what an amazing chef! Martino was very responsive and helpful when we needed something. I hope we can return one day!

What a lovely property and host! Andrea was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a tour of the home and answered any questions we had before leaving us to enjoy the wonderful property. He even sent us restaurant recommendations which turned out to be amazing. The property itself is picturesque and almost felt unreal. My family was in awe and couldn’t stop mentioning how it was the nicest part of our trip (which we stayed in multiple places throughout). It was impeccably clean without a single speck of dust present. The furnishings were all perfectly picked and each added charm to the home. The rooms were cozy and all had wonderful views. We almost didn’t even notice the weather was gloomy the few days we were there because of how much we enjoyed the home itself. I can only imagine when it’s sunny and warm! Thank you for everything Andrea. We definitely plan to come back!

The villa is the most beautiful place we stayed at during our 20 day trip through Europe. It’s a bit on a splurge in price but very much worth it. The views from the villa of the pool and the lake are breathtaking. The house is very beautiful, everything was functioning properly and the kitchen is great to cook in. We stayed in and cooked dinner one night and it was great. We also took advantage of the Complimentary olive oil tasting that is included with the stay and that was also of fun. Our guide said was so knowledgeable! I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was a much needed break during our busy vacation.

Excellent from start to finish. Smooth check in, super clean, and great for sleeping. 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom are on lower/sub level down from main floor. 1 bedroom and bath is on main floor. Layout made for awesome, quiet, and cool temps at night. Mattresses and sheets and pillows were excellent. Professional turn around on the linens. Hosts had 2 bags of ice in the freezer at check in, which was a nice touch (because Europeans don’t seem to value ice as much as Americans …) We were there for a wedding at the castle up the hill. Previous guests have noted that it’s not walkable, which is correct. It’s an easy 8 minute drive up the mountain. From this house. The normal town of Assisi (not the ancient village on the hill) is an easy 10 minute drive with restaurants and a couple grocery stores. Driving in Italy eas easier than expected. Great hosts, would stay there again.

Den wunderbaren Blick von der Terrasse aus und die unendliche Ruhe werde ich so schnell nicht vergessen - eine wirklich schöne Bleibe. Mein Hund hat das große Grundstück, auf dem sie sich frei bewegen konnte, sehr genossen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Der Pool war auch klasse. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Valentina bzw. Valentins Mann war sehr unkompliziert. Beeindruckt hat mich die Schnelligkeit der Reaktion: als ein Problem im Bad war, hatte ich die Nachricht gerade abgeschickt, da stand er schon vor mir und hat das Problem behoben. Wer Ruhe, einen grandiosen Blick und eine tolle Umgebung bei sehr netten Vermietern sucht, der ist hier genau richtig!!

Caroline's villa was absolutely stunning. We visited as a family of 8 adults and it was even more beautiful in person. It's completely private with amazing views all around. It's also in a great location to visit other picturesque villages nearby with a car. The pool was a great addition to combat the Tuscan heat. As this is in the countryside, be aware that there will be insects and wildlife. We came across a snake and a scorpion, but that's not an issue with the house, but rather the natural environment. The property manager Bianca greeted us upon arrival. She was super friendly and helpful with tips. And Caroline left us super detailed recommendations for restaurants, itineraries, and wineries. She was always available and friendly. We had an amazing time and would definitely visit again!

Andrea's property tucked into the beautiful hills on the Umbria countryside was truly incredible. The property had every amenity and many areas to soak up the sun and the views. It was probably the best BBQ view I've ever seen. The property was a bit further than we thought it was initially and you definitely need a car to get up the steep roads, but the quality of the host and the home made our stay unforgettable. Janet and Nicholas are exceptional hosts :) responsive and very kind, it was a pleasure to communicate with both of them. I must also add their property management company is fantastic, we had the pleasure of meeting 2 lovely gentlemen. Top service from everyone. Thank you :)) The day we arrived my first thought was ~ what an immaculate property! The outside has such stunning views of Todi and the surrounding hills, the pool and gardens are truly beautiful, you can tell everything was done with such thought and care. The gorgeous kitchen and outside wood burning grill were our favorite part! Evenings with the sun setting were truly special. Their home is exceptional. We will treasure our week long stay :)

Wir haben das Wochenende in der Villa mit privatem Pool sehr genossen! Jedes Doppelbettzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Gefallen hat uns auch der große Garten mit privatem Zugang. Man konnte sich an der Landschaft nicht sattsehen… Der Grill, der Ofen und die große Küche laden zum selbst kochen ein. Eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist in 5 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir empfehlen auch den Aperitif mit den Gastgebern. Zu einem Drink werden leckere lokale Häppchen serviert. Wir danken euch für die wunderbare Zeit und kommen auf jeden Fall gern wieder! 🙂

Casale semplicemente strepitoso, dal vivo ancora più bello che in foto. Orietta molto gentile e disponibile in ogni nostra richiesta,ha fatto di tutto per farci trovare la piscina attiva, nonostante il tempo incerto, l' abbiamo usata per tutto il soggiorno! Spazi esterni curatissimi, camere confortevoli e spaziose, se posso dare un consiglio suggerirei di cambiare cuscini e materassi davvero scomodi e di prestare più attenzione alla pulizia di camere e bagni davvero poco accurata. Cmq consiglio vivamente!!!

If you want to experience heaven on Earth, stay at this getaway in Spello. You will never open your doors onto a view like this anywhere else! The hot tub was a really nice bonus, and the house was very comfortable for our extended family. Barbara was so helpful, from planning our trip to answering questions during our stay as well as providing every amenity you could think of. We will always think fondly of our time here!

We had an amazing time in Francesco's place. The house is wondefull. Spacious, clean and very modern. The garden and surroundings are very beautiful. Francesco is an excellent host. He is responsive and his service is ourstanding. He welcomed us with pizza and wine en he even brought us a box with delicious treats for breakfast every morning. I can recommend Francesco's place for everyone who want to stay in a central location to discover Tuscany and stay in a charming house full of luxury. Couldn't be better.

Great place to stay. Excellent communication, went above and being to ensure our stay was exceptional. Deborah even bought a pasta machine for us to use for our evening meal - which was really appreciated. It was a great week.

Country slow living at its best combined with outstanding hospitality. Our vacation started right after we entered the apartment which was exactly as described and cleaned to perfection. We immediately got recommendations on possible activities in the region and were actively supported during support with any request we had. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some relaxation in a peaceful environment.

The villa, grounds and hosts were fabulous! The views were amazing, the villa extremely clean and well appointed, the pool absolutely delightful, and the surrounding towns and wineries fantastic to explore. Supermarket very close.

Our stay was amazing! The house is beyond beautiful and the view is beautiful. The house was great for a group of 9 people. (We didn’t realize there were no bed linens and towels included, so take that with you.) Communication was great! We will defiantly come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located in the heart of the Valdichiana with easy and clear access to the surrounding towns. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with a combination of olive trees, grapevines, flowers and even herbs like rosemary, basil and mint that we used in our cooking. The rooms were spacious and very private. Our group of 6 were more than comfortably accommodated, each with its own bathroom and AC units that worked well. The two kitchens served us well. We mainly utilized the outside kitchen as the weather throughout our stay was perfect. The kitchens were well stocked with all of the necessary cooking items. There were some items that we needed to purchase at the local supermarket, including shower gel, paper towels, napkins, etc. For a one week stay we would recommend extra towels, especially for the pool. Overall, I would highly recommend La Bacaia as a base to fully enjoy your Tuscan vacation.

There are very few times when a stay not only lives up to expectations, but exceeds them. Our stay at the Lazy Oak did just that. There are no adjectives to truly describe the beauty of the villa and the surrounding countryside. Sitting at the infinity pool, looking out over the olive groves before a dinner prepared in house by a Tuscan chef as the sun sets will go down as one of the greatest days of our lives. We visited the nearby town twice for gelato but the truth is we did not want to leave the property! If you are looking for a peaceful quintessential Tuscan vacation in the countryside, look no further than the Lazy Oak. Mario is on property to tend to any needs but keeps to himself unless called upon. We actually loved his company and called him over to talk on multiple occasions…with the help of Google translation of course. Thank you Mario and Alesandro for an unforgettable stay. We hope to see you again in the future.

Villa Elisa is the best place I have stayed so far. Its construction style is old and special, the care of the Villa is down to the details, whether it is the exterior or interior, everything works is impressive even though some parts of the house are original from that time such as the doors, the windows, the floor tiles,The view is magnificent, magical whether with the radiant sun, under a torrential rain, under the clouds, under the mist or under the stars with the moon as a companion.Absolutely everything in detail and scrupulously organized, all thanks to its hosts Luciano and Christina. Now I will make an important section, if the Villa is majestic, they are also splendid and kind; I had the pleasure and pride of meeting them personally, people like few I have ever met and who are now scarce. Natural, simple and kind, always at hand unconditionally for whatever was needed.I recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy a great place and excellent company and 100 percent.

The villa was a perfect getaway for our family of six. Leonardo and Luca were super helpful with providing recommendations and accommodations for our stay since we were not walking distance into town. Having a car to drive around would make it much easier to visit nearby towns. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely home. 1600’s construction, modern kitchen and baths, comfortable beds and sitting areas, with a pool and view that you will never want to leave. We loved every minute of our stay. Even better than this home is its owner. Reilly was helpful throughout all of our planning. Even finding a last minute driver for my late arriving daughter. His activity and restaurant suggestions were spot on and he was a generous with his time. We hope to return often.
