Cottage holiday rentals in Saint-Nectaire

For lovers of the "outdoors" with 5-star comfort, you have to go to Fred. The roe deer, hares and wild boars made our stay even more enjoyable: what a joy! Perfect for a family reunion.

Very good welcome from our hosts who had very nice little touches. The clean accommodation is large, functional and well equipped. The pool and jacuzzi were great with a beautiful view in a quiet and relaxing place. We would have liked to keep the address to ourselves but we highly recommend this accommodation.

Nice little house totally faithful to the descriptions: simple but functional and well maintained. 10 minutes from Salers, it is a perfect base to discover the Cantal. The place is quiet and the neighbours are very nice. We are happy holidaymakers 😀

Alain, the person on site who takes care of the owners of the welcome and departure, is available and warm. We were two adults and the property is obviously a little oversized but ideal for 4 to 6 people with all the necessary equipment. Beautiful environment with many hiking opportunities and calm assured.

We had a great week at Patrice and Brigitte's place. Everything is as described. We were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds the accommodation as well as the more remote landscapes. Very accessible and understanding hosts. Thank you for a peaceful and refreshing week.

Excellent stay in this typical Auvergne family home. Very well restored to bring today's comfort while maintaining its character.

Chalet located in a hamlet, quiet, spacious, tastefully decorated and well-equipped, in the center of a beautiful region: beautiful walks or car rides possible, skiing 15 minutes away. A small reserve regarding the cottage: no heating possible in one of the bedrooms on the 2nd floor and even if winter is mild, at Christmas it's right! But we (=one family, three generations) are very happy with our week in Besse, Séverine was very responsive, we recommend!

A great breath of nature. Flowers of all kinds in August and 2 bambis that crossed the meadow with fantastic views from the terrace. The whole family has found their account in this lesser-known portion of Auvergne. Very lively city of Ambert! The space is functional and does not lack anything. The large upstairs room with musical instruments is perfect for family evenings: games, music, discussions and even the Olympics opening ceremony 😉 Thanks to our hosts and Élodie on site

For nature lovers and for those who want to recharge their batteries or for a family moment... don't hesitate. Great walks to take and peaceful environment. The accommodation was clean, and even better than in the photos. The view and the calm are the big highlights.

Very beautiful regions and nice typical house of the country. Very clean house, nothing to say. Emile always answered all my questions. If you are looking for a peaceful and local place, I recommend it.

Nice welcome from Valérie who is not very "key box", which changes many other experiences here. The cottage has been carefully renovated and has everything you need for a family stay. It is certainly a little far from the basic shops (bread, etc.) and you have to organise yourself, but in return, you can fully enjoy the calm of this small rural hamlet of Puy-De-Dôme.
