Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Marcel-d'Ardèche

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Beautiful accommodation in a quiet area surrounded by trees, ideal for families! Lots of equipment and storage for our comfort, you will also find tourist documentation to manage your stay. We would recommend it without hesitation 🙂

We had a great stay in this comfortable cottage, super complete in terms of equipment and very neat. The jacuzzi is a big plus as well as the perfectly fenced garden where our little dog could run freely. We were able to take walks 2 minutes from the cottage between the lavender fields and the vineyards in the beautiful nature of Ardèche. Thank you Christine for this wonderful place and for your availability! We'll be back next year!

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

We had a great weekend in the impeccable accommodation rented by Malo and Nico. The place is very quiet . The apartment is very nice and very clean. The owners are very welcoming and give good advice. We highly recommend it.

Caroline was a very good host. She was always helpful with questions. The house is even nicer than in the photos. The pool is really very large and the view is great. The terrace is also beautiful and there is a large barbecue. You can switch off and relax very well there. The house is a little difficult to reach by car, because the last 500 meters lead over an unpaved road. I recommend an SUV. We were 7 people and had plenty of space, as the living space and kitchen are very large. All in all, I can definitely recommend it. We had a great time. Thank you!

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

The four of us (with two children) spent one night in Philippes apartment in transit. Everything was as described and we were able to recover very well for the onward journey.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We spent a night in this little corner of paradise! As soon as you arrive, you feel this beautiful peaceful energy. The owners are very friendly, I highly recommend this place which allowed us a nice quiet break 🙏🏼

Great place to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets

Beautiful apartment tastefully decorated and recently renovated (air conditioning in the rooms which adds a real plus) Apartment ideally located in the middle of the countryside and cicadas. Annick is a very kind and generous host. You feel right at home in the authentic french farmhouse. Annick kindly shared some of her home grown cherries and apricots which were delicious. The pool was fantastic with beautiful views across lavender and vineyards. Would highly recommend you experience a stay in this lovely accommodation

We spent a night with our family at Valerie's, we were just passing through. The house is great, clean, functional! Valerie welcomed us very warmly, with sympathy. Why not come back and stay longer next time!

We had a super nice week in this beautiful holiday home. We were welcomed by the owners with the stove already on and some goodies on the table. The owners live next to the holiday accommodation and they will give you a warm welcome. There was also friendly contact during our stay. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of touches. Really a dream house with a large garden and views. It is very quietly located and you really feel at home. The village of Labeaume can be visited on foot, is a nice walk from the house. We also went to Avignon for a day, a short drive, but worth it. The Indy Park climbing park is also recommended. The bakery and a small supermarket are close by, in Ruoms you will find a large supermarket. There is plenty to do in the area. We loved the house, clean, bright and beautifully decorated. The village is charming and all the people we met were very friendly. We highly recommend. In addition, the region is beautiful! We'll be happy to go back.

We had a wonderful week in Yves's house. It's a great slice of paradise. Beautiful and large swimming pool, on the beautiful river Cèze and an attractively furnished house made for a nice holiday with our friends. The pétanque made it complete! We were also very well received. In short, highly recommended!

a wonderful weekend for 8 adults, time for annual reunions. a very nice outdoor garden with views of the lavender fields. everything starts with a warm welcome from the owners (who live on site but are very discreet!). a beautiful and very well-equipped house, both inside and outside! an incredible pool and petanque molky volleyball activities that allow you to stay all weekend in the middle of the greenery. a very good memory thank you to Myriam and Pascal!
