Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Laurent-la-Vernède

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The location was 15 minutes drive from Arles town centre. The Loft was clean on arrival and the host provided all necessary utensils, linen, towels and a "starter kit" (eg. toilet paper, soap, shampoo, BBQ charcoal and lighter, etc). Access to the Loft was timely and by security Key Code, making it flexible to enter on late arrival. Pool and gardens were well maintained. Baby cot and high-chair were supplied. Florence, our concierge, was very helpful and proactive in answering all our questions in advance. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear and timely.

Well located accommodation for what we had planned. Quiet place despite some daytime work at the moment at the neighbours' (in my opinion temporary). Recommended for a stay in the area.

Exceptional in every way. This is our second stay and we planned our trip this year around the availability of this specific rental because we loved it so much last time. From small details like sharp knives in the kitchen to big needs like a comfortable bed and wonderful hosts, everything is superb. Daily walks to town along the aqueduct are a joy. A large choice of delicious restaurants at all price levels. Museums, shops, nature, history, all steps away in St Remy. Within a short drive, the best of Provence is accessible from Matilde's place. I have severe allergies, and Matilde graciously and willingly accommodated my needs by cleaning with fragrance-free products and vinegar. I hope we can enjoy this memorable again one day.Merci to to wonderful hosts for creating such a delightful rental.

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

We had a wonderful time in Avignon at Elisabeth and Robin’s wonderful house. The location is excellent for exploring the city. The house is beautiful with a lovely swimming pool to take a dip in at the end of the day and a courtyard for relaxing. Elisabeth is very friendly and was very flexible with check in and out which we really appreciated.

Sabine's accommodation is great, with everything you need to have a great stay. The environment and the view are beautiful. The hosting was perfect. Thanks again Sabine

A perfect stay in a peaceful setting. The accommodation is well-equipped, functional, very clean and beautifully decorated. The small terrace is charming, and the view is very nice! The common outdoor area (terrace and pool) invites you to relax. Dominique is very responsive, available while remaining discreet. It's a chance to have the opportunity to enjoy such a dog-friendly accommodation! We highly recommend this property!

Great house for a family vacation! The house has all facilities you need and is located conveniently close to Suze-La-Rousse (small village with some nice shops and restaurant).

Every little thing was perfection! The space was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Located on a country road, it was quiet and private. . Lovely farmhouse with antique details, yet modern and light. Jessie and Andy are superb hosts and responded to all questions and requests quickly. Such a lovely family with the 2 girls and two pups—fell completely in love with Tya, an English Springer Spaniel. Great location to visit all the sweet towns and villages of Provence. Would go back in a New York minute!

We had a very nice week in this holiday home. The place was quiet in a secluded alley with a well-fenced garden for our dog. The pool was beautiful. The interior was furnished with great taste and we lacked nothing, especially in the kitchen. We had a very relaxing and intimate week and we will not fail to return if the opportunity arises. We had a great time with the family. The house is spacious and very well-equipped. The exteriors are more than pleasant with an outdoor dining area and a BBQ. Many deckchairs around the large pool. It's a haven of peace. Finally, the house is a few minutes' walk from the centre of the village, it's a real plus.

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

Cynthia and Mario's house located in the heart of the village, is beautiful. The old spirit has been preserved and the decoration is of very good taste. The indoor pool can be heated for a fee (reasonable), we enjoyed it extensively. The hosting was friendly and warm. Cynthia has always been responsive and was able to provide us with helpful information about the area. We immediately felt good in this huge house of character, we had so much space for the two of us! Thanks to Cynthia and Mario.

Great stay at Terry's! The studio is very nice (with a great terrace that overlooks the pool). The studio is well equipped and decorated with taste. The location is ideal for visiting the surroundings (especially the Pont du Gard and Uzes). Terry even allowed us to bring our cat :). The current tenant is lovely and very discreet. Terry is available and very nice! I highly recommend this accommodation and we will be happy to come back :)

Our stay in Les Baux-de-Provence was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The home is perfectly situated within the village walls, offering unmatched access to the breathtaking sights of Les Baux, including the castle which is just steps away. The convenience of a dedicated parking space made arriving and exploring effortless, and being within walking distance to the incredible Carrières des Lumières was an added bonus. The apartment itself is beautiful, serene, and thoughtfully decorated. Every detail was just right, from the welcoming living area to the incredibly cozy bed, which made each night a joy. It was the perfect home base for soaking in the magic of this unforgettable village. We will definitely cherish this stay for years to come. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

We had an unforgettable time at Adeline and Fabien's. This place is magical, allowing a real break in nature while being close to many very charming places. The apartment is decorated with a lot of taste and charm and super well equipped. Adeline and Fabien are adorable, super responsive and ready to give great recommendations - we recommend dinner at L'Estanko in Saint Rémy de Provence! Their dogs are incredibly well trained and have made this place even crazier. Thank you very much Adeline & Fabien, we would love to come back!!

A little corner of paradise nestled at the foot of a charming little hamlet! The house has a lot of character, large and bright rooms where nature is always present, bedding at the top of the top. A kitchen where it's nice to cook, very well equipped! Nature and pool side, it's just incredibly well arranged... at any time of the day there is a small cozy place waiting for you. The salt treatment of the pool is a real plus ;) Thank you to Caroline and Frédéric for their simple and authentic welcome. Lovely neighbours!!

Great stay at Mickaël's! The house is quiet, well-equipped and perfect for relaxing. What a fun apartment! I loved all the plants and the aquarium. And the terrace was lovely. It's on the main square in the pedestrian part of town. It's loaded with fantastic restaurants. And if you're lucky enough to be there on a market day, you'll be blown away! Totally worth it.

The house is simply beautiful.I n the middle of a forest with a great garden. Juliette was waiting for us and explained everything about the house and gave us suggestions for the week. We spent 5 great days in this dream location. We would love to go back again.
