House holiday rentals in Saint-Jean-en-Royans

My friend and I went for a long awaited weekend away and Remon and Anita's place was just perfect! I would say its even better than the pictures. The Gite has all the things you could possibly ask for including very comfortable beds, a pristinely clean bathroom and we loved the gite's rustic decoration and feel. The kitchen is fully kitted out and had coffee and tea included which was great. The Gite has its own outside terrace where, due to the lovely weather, we spent most of our time as well as next to the pool in the secluded garden which has sun loungers we could use as well. Lastly, Anita was super helpful and responsive and both Remon and Anita were really great hosts, very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone if you want a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay in southern france

We spent five days with the family in this beautiful place. The end of October is a very pleasant season for long walks such as in the Saou Forest for example. Some in our group had to telecommute, which is possible without any problem.

excellent welcome! Everything was perfect! We had a super rejuvenating stay in the middle of nature, difficult to leave! Great with the kids, we loved taking care of the animals. The accommodation offered by Olivier was very nice, we had a great stay with friends. The accommodation is quiet, very spacious, well equipped! Olivier was also very flexible on arrival and departure times.

A beautiful setting, a little at the end of the world and a beautiful and large house that retains its original character. The park is beautiful, the view too. The pool basin is very nice. Excellent communication with the hosts as well. In short, a very successful family stay.

Very nice rental, tastefully decorated by Jean Marie who is a pleasant and attentive host. The setting is very nice and the large bay windows of the house with views of the surrounding mountains give a lot of charm to the house Recommended!

We had a great weekend in the house proposed by Martine. Her welcome is as warm as her cottage. The environment is very quiet. The cottage is close to St Jean en Royans which is a small town with many shops and restaurants. Many hikes start from the cottage or nearby. Area is beautiful! We will be back!

If you love nature, tranquility and seclusion, you should really choose this accommodation. Beautifully located, beautiful view and very nicely decorated house. You immediately feel welcome at Franck and Atsuko's. We had a little rain, but you can still sit outside under the shelters, which is an added bonus! You can take beautiful walks in the area and there is a lot of nature to observe on site. Birds, butterflies, orchids: you have it all. The daily greeting of the two beautiful horses was very nice. We called them Carotte and Caresse. (Bring some carrots!) For us it was a successful holiday and by far the most tastefully decorated house.

The house had everything we needed. It is quiet, so you can get some rest. The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for short or longer hikes. We loved sitting outside in the garden or in the shades of the covered terras. In the evening we could pull open the large sliding glass doors of the sitting area to get cover from the wind, but still being almost outside. Mathilde and Vladimir, who live in the same house (different floors with own entrances and garden) were very helpfull with suggestions for hikes. They let us borrow their binoculars to have a better view of the mountain goats and duke owl which live around the house. We would have liked to stay longer.

An absolutely idyllic stay in the Vercors! We spent the weekend in this beautifully renovated sheepfold, a true haven of peace nestled in the heart of breathtaking landscapes. The place was incredibly quiet, perfect for recharging, and the hosts were remarkably kind. Everything was impeccable and thought out to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A place to recommend without hesitation!

This is the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. The house itself is a work of art and it has everything you need to feel right at home. The garden right outside your door makes you feel like you’re living in a fairy tail. The place is so quiet and peaceful, all you can hear is the sound of birds and the stream that runs passed the garden. Andreas and Gabriella are sweet and kind and they were available whenever we needed them, but the place still feels like a totally private Airbnb. There is so much hiking and exploring to do in the surrounding areas, we spend a full day exploring Chartreuse and it was spectacular. Overall, if you’re debating whether you should stay here, do it! It was a highlight of our trip.

The house is located in a beautiful setting, perfect for lovers of peace and nature. The interior is very clean and tidy. We really had a great time.

Denis's house is in a super quiet location. We immediately felt at ease there. The stove diffuses soft heat, there is a beautiful fireplace that can also be used freely. The terrace overlooks a beautiful view. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Denis welcomed us warmly, giving us a tour of the owner while giving us many tips. We spent a very relaxing week in this idyllic setting and explored several hiking trails. The surrounding forests are magical. We will most likely come back.

Carina is a very friendly, lovely hostess and a lovingly atmospherically furnished cottage with a beautiful well-kept outdoor area, nestled in a beautiful landscape. We really enjoyed the silence there. Opportunities for a lot of activity in nature, nice villages and towns and good restaurants. We have taken the region and its inhabitants to heart. Return to the house not excluded 😀

Very friendly host and always available. The accommodation perfectly matches the photos, even exceeds them! Although located near the road, the noise remains very discreet. The decoration is neat, the furniture well chosen, and the bedding of excellent comfort. The lake is close by, as is a convenient bakery for breakfasts.
