Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée

We had a great weekend in this beautiful cottage. A big thank you to Vanina for her welcome and responsiveness, nothing to complain about everything was perfect.

Tastefully renovated house in a village of character with lots of charm. The house is very nice and is much better than in the listing photos! The location is great for resting, walking and eating well. The locals are welcoming and put their heart and soul into showcasing their land. There's an excellent restaurant in the village that combines authenticity and refinement. Most of the products are made on site, including goat cheeses to die for. Lara welcomed us with great kindness. She also has a ceramic workshop with pretty pieces and makes products from strawberries and roses. This stay was a great discovery!

Superb quiet place with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Even better than the photos, everything has been refurbished and extremely well-equipped house. The bedding is really nice. We are very resourceful after our stay and will surely be back.

This stay was beyond our expectations. The barn renovation project is simply magnificent, combining charm, comfort and authenticity. The view from the large bay window is breathtaking and invites contemplation and rest. A huge thank you to Sandrine and her husband for their availability, kindness and warm welcome. The village is full of charm and the locals are very kind. The calm that reigns in the surroundings allowed us to fully recharge. This moment will remain etched in our minds. The house is perfect to spend a few days in any season of the year. It is very comfortable, very spacious and has everything you need. Just 500 meters from Saint Dalmas where you can find a supermarket, bakery and restaurant. If you're willing to walk a little further, you have Valdeblore with many more options. Anne is very attentive to every detail. It would definitely be our first choice when we return.

Easy to access by motorbike that can be parked near the entrance. We enjoyed the small wood stove to warm us up when we arrived and the wood cut nearby. We enjoyed the charm of this small studio in an old house.

We had a pleasant stay in Barcelonnette. As the accommodation offered by Thomas is located in the heights, we had a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and could enjoy the magnificent variations of colours and intensity throughout the day. The kitchen, spacious and well-equipped, delighted us throughout the week, and allowed us to prepare good dishes that we enjoyed in a soothing setting. Large dining table and sofas encourage convivial moments. Finally, with the Mercantour park nearby, many hikes of all levels are accessible, as well as some good via ferrata spots for lovers of these disciplines. This chalet will delight those looking for both a beautiful apartment with a view, and proximity to beautiful hiking trails.

Just home from a wonderful stay at Nathalie’s apartment. We chose it as it has four separate bedrooms, and everyone having their own space was super! Nathalie was very responsive and friendly, and we would certainly stay here again.

We have been 5 days as a family and the place is formidable, better than in the photos, with lots of detail, nicely decorated and functional. There was everything needed in the kitchen, including raclette, fondue, and various tools that make the stay easy. The windows have a very nice view of the area. There is so much to do in the surroundings and in an area surrounded by very beautiful mountains. The house is very comfortable. It has been a very recommended holiday days and we would love to come back.

My husband and I came to rest in the spring at Renaud's home. We enjoyed the calm, the breathtaking view of the Orres mountain and its surroundings, and the amenities that were all useful, clean and in good condition. The stove was welcome in the evening, it's a plus! We were able to eat on the terrace in the sun, and we slept pretty well, the bedding is OK. What good points for this listing. If we needed anything extra, Renaud brought it to us quickly. We recommend!

Spacious apartment overlooking the center of Valberg, very pleasant and cozy. Hosts were very responsive and friendly.

Great location. Within walking distance of the city center of Castellane. Very nice region with a lot of activities. Cyril gave us an address of an organization for canyoning and that was immediately the highlight for our children. The cottage has a large bathroom with large shower. Very nice is the plancha outside to bake meat. Works very well and less hassle than with the bbq. Cyril is super friendly and always available for questions. We enjoyed our week in Castellane at Cyril's place very much.

We had a great time at Phill's and were pleasantly surprised by the garden particularly welcoming for children (trampoline, cabin...) and with a magnificent view! Phill was happy to advise us on some activities to do off the beaten path... He is a very pleasant and available host. We are very happy with our stay

The house is very large with a beautiful open view of the mountains. Ideal for a family. Access and parking are easy. The accommodation is located 20 minutes by car from Praloup 1600.

We stayed at the school lodge for a weekend with our two kids aged 8 and 10. We found more than what we had come for. Not only is the site idyllic (a haven of peace), but in addition, we really felt welcome. Karine and Eric are so welcoming! Even their cat is an exceptional host, always purr for a caress. The kids enjoyed themselves at the pool and picking up the toy box. We loved Karine's homemade jam and left with a nice amount of her unmatched chestnut cream.

What a great place to stay. I have never rented a house that was so fully equipped, everything was really there. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the silence and tranquility were a relief. Our hosts Valerie and Delphine were super attentive and the chickens provided us with fresh eggs every day. For us, the house was a starting point for beautiful sporty bike rides in the truly beautiful surroundings. One gorge was more beautiful than the next. Upon returning from our trips, we enjoyed the terrace, we miss it and left with some sadness. We will definitely come back again, maybe as a group of friends but perhaps also with family, because it is a fantastic family home. Valerie, thank you again for all the thoughtful and quick responses. You have created a little paradise.

Delighted with the friendly exchanges with Sophie. The house lived up to our expectations and the family was delighted with the location of the house near the lake. It is ultra-equipped, good bedding and spacious for the number of travellers indicated in the listing.
