Family-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Dizier-Masbaraud

Beautiful home, interesting history, quirky dungeon bar. Lots to do for everyone on site and close surrounding area's. Has everything you could need inside and outside, very well equipt for children of all ages. Comfortable bedrooms, great layout. Stunning views all round. Helpful host, there for anything we needed. Couldnt recommend more all that stayed had a great time and this stunning house was part of that stay. Really loved it.

We had a lovely and quiet stay at Graham's. The kids really enjoyed the pool (shared) and spa (private). We will be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

For what was a budget friendly stay for us we were happy with the accommodation and it’s facilities. The hot tub was perfect to enjoy at any time of the day and was totally private. Our dog Merlin had plenty of space to explore the gardens and plenty of beautiful walks nearby. Although we were there out of season, there was still many things in the local area to do. We highly recommend visiting Chamberet to hire some electric bikes and tour the wonderful scenery. Seems to be lots of English in the area which meant many restaurants/places of interest had English speakers. Although not essential for us, it could be beneficial for future guests whom may struggle with the French language. We only had one negative to our experience and it was that the double bed wasn’t at all comfortable. Although, we appreciate for some, the hard spring mattress may be exactly what they like. Never the less, we spend the rest of our stay on the two single beds instead which were a little better for us.

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

Valerie and Manu are very welcoming hosts, we had a great aperitif with them , we had a great time. They're nice, very available. Thanks again for our stay. The setting is very quiet, there is a nice viewpoint right next to their home.

Second stay in Dompierre les Églises. impeccable accommodation, hosts welcoming and discreet. Great for a quiet stay with family.

Great house for 2 families, perfect for what we wanted. Lots of seating areas, kitchen was really well equipped. Pool and hot tub awesome. Nearby lake is good for beach and water sports. Hosts were great and gave good recommendation for a food festival in a nearby town. The house is in a very peaceful location, surrounded by countryside, which was great most of the time but if you want restaurants or activities it’s a drive. I would recommend the house though as it’s really well set up for a week with friends or family.

We had a lovely weekend in the cottage. Adequate accommodation for large groups. Quiet and relaxing.

Everything went really well, the setting is peaceful, pleasant and the accommodation impeccable! It's perfect, I recommend it with my eyes closed!

We had a good time in Dominique's place, it is in excellent condition, impeccably clean, and very well designed preserving the privacy of each occupant and the decoration is pretty, it feels good. The proximity to the lake is a highlight. In addition, the welcome and responsiveness of the people taking care of the check-in and check-out is also to be noted. Maybe we'll be back.

Spacious and well-equipped accommodation. Even better than in the photos and geographically well placed for the discovery of the Mille Vaches plateau.

We were very well received with good humour and a smile, very clean accommodation, we felt at home, after taking the accommodation we were a little cold, Camille moved immediately to start the heating, we highly recommend this rental thank you both

very nice house, well equipped, with garden and table in the shade for lunch. we had a very pleasant stay arrived independently at night, we passed 2x in front before finding the gate which is in a recess. we warmly recommend this haven of peace

This is the second year I rent Marie's place for my daughter's grandparents and it's always great. I'll be happy to book it again next year.

the Moulin du Petit Balabran is the perfect place to rest, disconnect and enjoy nature. it's a privilege to be able to enjoy such a beautiful setting! the house is well equipped, no TV or internet but beautiful walks to do around (the house of the Parc de la Brenne in Rosnay, Chateau Guillaume in Lignac, the restaurant "le Léon"...). arrival and departure independently, we did not meet the hosts but Celestine with whom we Communicated was very available, responsive, kind and good advice. I would recommend it without second thought and would happily return!

We had a great week at Laurence's. The cottage is very nice, with lots of charm. The accommodation is very clean and well arranged. The outdoors is beautiful, quiet, with many spaces to settle in and enjoy the calm. The pool and trampoline delighted the kids. Laurence is very nice, always available, she shared her little gems about the area with us. Perfect stay!

Really nice place, great area for walks with animals and/or children. Heidi is very responsive and friendly. Breakfast is excellent and varies from day to day. We'll be happy to go back!

We had the most relaxing holiday, in the most stunning location. I would say that you do need a car to get in food and explore. But if you just want to chill out and relax as a family, you really have no need to leave the house. Although we recommend exploring Lac de Vassivière, Eymoutiers and Aubusson.

An authentic cottage offered by Alain, who is extremely friendly and available. He welcomes us in a nice little hamlet, very quiet with hiking departures nearby. The house has 3 large bedrooms and the bathroom is renovated. Our 9 and 11 year old children enjoyed the place, which is full of history (wooden stairs, old parquet floors, family photos, bidets, etc.). And they also liked the more modern elements, such as the owner's pool, which is chemical-free (does not sting the eyes). Alain is super friendly and open, my children liked him and so did we. A good starting point for the GVDT race in Ambazac! Thanks again!

Great stay, beautiful property!! Very welcoming and accommodating host

Julian’s place was most peaceful and relaxing. We stayed a week but could have stayed longer. We had all the amenities we wanted and feel that the gite is very good value for money. The weather was unseasonably cool, but we still enjoyed swimming in the unheated pool. There are two outdoor spaces which we used each day. For cooler weather there is a substantial wood burner.

Everything was perfect with Annie! We'll be back next year, that's for sure.

Exceptional stay! A big thank you to Frederic for allowing us to experience this timeless moment in his beautiful cottage. Very large pool, semi-open kitchen and large outdoor areas. Everything was in place to enjoy the beautiful sunshine during our weekend!
