When you need a complete break from everyday life, you can have it here, and everyday things take on a new meaning. An off-grid cabin gives you the opportunity to be present in the here and now. A separate summer kitchen on top of a cliff with stunning views. Gas hob and barbecue available. Running water. There is a single bed in the lean-to. The sauna room has a loft bed and a fold-out sofa bed. You also have a rowboat and a paddleboard at your disposal. The hot tub is heated for a separate fee. There is a fire pit on the beach. This property has a lot of stairs and is not suitable for families with children.

Taiga Kallioranta – cabin and beach sauna

TAIGA KALLIORANTA A small, self-catering luxury cottage of 30 m², open all year round, in the quiet of Vääräjärvi, between Mäntyharju and Ristiina. A peaceful getaway for couples, remote work or a creative break. Here, there is no noise from cars or neighbours; instead, you are surrounded by pine trees, a lake and a rocky shore. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom. The evening is topped off with a sauna just 10 metres from the beach. Final cleaning is the responsibility of the guests.

Traditions and linen

Eco-friendly cabin living on a large property (4 ha) with no close neighbours. The building is clean, fresh and well decorated with materials. You'll get a made bed with linen sheets, a cold refrigerator, and your own south-facing sandy beach. A few kilometers away is Puumala Golf, Sulkava Castle Mountain, and more to see. You can row, sauna, and grill. The building has solar power where you can charge your phone and get light in the evening. Berries and mushrooms can be collected from your own forest.

Unique Villa by the Lake

The new, fully equipped villa is situated in a tranquil location on the shore of the clear and pristine Lake Kuolimo. It is the perfect place to escape from everyday life and enjoy nature. The main building is located on top of a hill, and almost every window offers beautiful lake views. Along the shoreline, there is also a separate sauna building. The villa is suited for families or small groups. Parties or other big catherings are not allowed. The stated number of guests must not be exceeded.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa Ruoholampi Charming 65 m² cottage located in Ruoholampi, Lappeenranta, close to the LUT campus. The cottage features a small private yard and beach. For an authentic Finnish sauna experience, enjoy the traditional lakeside wood-fired sauna with its gentle heat. The beach is shallow and child-friendly. The cabin accommodates up to 4 people. (In 2026, the lake water level is exceptionally low, as is the case elsewhere in Eastern Finland. So swimming may be difficult in shallow areas.)

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Rockhouse is hand-built from local wood. The cabin is a warm cabin equipped with amenities on a rock in the middle of nature and forest animals. The terrace overlooks about 4 km from the lake in the direction of the sunset. Separate landscape sauna and glazed atmospheric barbeque hut on the terrace.
