Villa holiday rentals in Saimaa

Great place to stay! We were a group of 5 ppl and 3 dogs and it was perfect for our new years get away from fireworks and loud city sounds. Still a few random fireworks before midnight but nothing crazy, so perfect for our needs. The sauna was a great size, the home was well equipped for lots of people, plenty of dishes and table space. The outside area and deck are also great for groups. There are a few other cabins/trailers in the same area so it’s not completely private, but it was still quiet. Great place to stay. Important to note: no freezer and outside grill is shared amongst other cabins.

The place was wonderful, even better than the photos! The instructions were clear and we had no problems when following them to check in the house, check out and everything in between :)

My wife and I had a fantastic, restful stay at Sammpa’s AirBnB. The surroundings are lovely, from the trees down to the lake, and the house itself is beautifully designed. I feel very fortunate to have spent such a peaceful week here in Finland! I would agree with other reviewers that the photos don’t do the property justice. Sammpa and his wife were both very helpful and responsive

The accommodation with Emil was absolutely wonderful! The place was really good and the description was accurate. Communication and practical arrangements with Emil are straightforward. I highly recommend it to other travellers!

Our stay in the house exceeded all expectations (four adults + one teen)! The house was clean, beautiful, and spacious, with comfortable beds and super nice living room to relax. It was superbly equipped, especially the kitchen, which had absolutely everything we needed for cooking and daily living. Communication was at the top – any question we had was answered within minutes. Furthermore, we had a road incident on the way to the place, and the host kindly came late in the evening to help us get the car out of snow. It was a wonderful time spent in this house, and we highly recommend it!

Big house with a lot of space! A lot of pieces of art you can explore. Nice and quite are around the house.

This place is paradise! You can tell that Hannu takes good care of it. It would be a great place for kids, with a beautiful play house, swimming, fishing, darts board and frisbee golf. Hannu was friendly and flexible and replied promptly. Thanks for the great stay. We will cherish these memories.

This is a beautiful and homely place

A wonderful place in a stunning historic and rustic milieu, yet close to services. The beach of the river was enchanting and we had a very warm weather, so swimming and paddling in the river was a favorite thing there. There was a big yard where it was great to play badminton and soccer with kids, as well as a well-equipped kitchen, a great setting for cooking and enjoying! In the heat, the ice maker was absolutely a bonus! Everything went very well!

It was an awesome jump into the new year! We had 5 beautiful days in an wonderful cottage, surrounded by 100% Nature and 0% stress.

Had a fantastic stay. The property is absolutely beautiful and private with lake views galore. The immaculate sauna is a stones throw from the beach and the hot tub is even closer. We went in August and the entire house was surrounded by ripe wild ligonberries and blueberries. The house is very comfortable, especially the kitchen and dining area. There were way fewer bugs than I was expecting out by the lake, but this still probably is not the place to take your sister-in-law from the city who freaks out if she sees a bumblebee or a fly. Arttu and Paula were very welcoming and had great recommendations in Finland and Estonia. Already scheming as to how we can come back for more Sauna, lake, repeat. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience in this cottage. It is really in the middle of the nature with a great scenery. The cottage itself is very well built and cosy. The wooden sauna at the lake with its hot tub is awesome! Enjoying a dip in the lake in the evening and then a sauna was wonderful and unforgettable!!!

The cottage is in a gorgeous location. You'll get what you see in the photos. It is also ideal for travelers with a dog as there is plenty of space and little to no traffic. During our stay, there were regularly three cranes in the "backyard". In short, it is highly recommended for people who love peace, space and nature.

We had a stay that exceeded all expectations! The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The highlight is definitely the private pool, complemented by its own pier and a small beach, providing a perfect seaside retreat. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
