Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Saimaa

We have stayed a total of 8 times on the canal with a large group. It is easy to find, check-in at your own time is easy and effortless. The milieu is beautiful, the best place to follow the seasons. The floor plan of the house is good. The bedrooms are upstairs and the common areas are downstairs. A larger group can sit at the large dining table. The living room can also accommodate a larger group. Iida always responds quickly, making it easy to agree on things. Great cottage in a great location. Great scenery, clean water, peaceful surroundings, and the lakeside sauna got the best steam you can imagine. The perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The host came to say hello, the welcome was friendly. I loved the wood sauna!

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

We had a bachelor party at this accommodation, and the place was just right for that purpose! The warm atmosphere and decor of the accommodation created a good vibe. Karaoke equipment and the possibility of a pool were a big plus. Pia was very kind and helpful, which made the whole arrangement uncomplicated. We highly recommend this place especially for those traveling in a group - a wonderful experience!✨

Lovely place right by the lake. Great sauna and easy to swim in the lake. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking. Bed is super comfortable and the views from inside area amazing. Very beautiful, peaceful and quiet location, would definitely stay again!

Beautiful quiet retreat on a lush island. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time is provided. There was even a midsummer traditional treat waiting for us. Satu is kind and responsive. She makes sure her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Henna's apartment for the weekend. We received good instructions for check-in, which went well and flexibly. The apartment had everything you needed for a weekend stay. Full marks for the location of the apartment: a stunningly beautiful environment and easy connections in all directions.

As described, friendly hosts. Value for money and very convenient location (route 6) when you want to move around in the region by private car (or some two-wheeler?) - or just to stay overnight. Note however, that Joensuu center is a drive away and parking there seems to be quite expensive.

There is space for parking and it is in a quiet location in the city centre.

If you are looking for a quiet place, I would highly recommend Eija's place! Eija is super nice and always responded to my requests and curiosity. The house has a big yard and closes to a lake where you can go cross-country skiing in winter. The room is cozy and includes own kitchen and bathroom. Several big supermarkets and a secondhand store are within walkable distance. A trip to Jyväskylä city centre is also not difficult by bus, it takes around 45 minutes with beautiful scenery on the way.

A wonderfully peaceful place, yet close to Lappeenranta, we really enjoyed ourselves! Toni welcomed us super friendly and even arranged a special program for the kids. It was a really welcome feeling 😊

The host was very flexible and accommodating, making check-in and check-out smooth. The apartment was nice and met expectations.

We had a lovely 3 day stay here and just didn’t want to leave,it was so calm and peaceful, gave us time to relax and recharge and enjoy each others company after a busy few days around Helsinki. The days just flew by with kayaking, rowing, sauna, dips in the lake and BBQ’s etc, we loved the rustic charm of the cabin and facilities and never got board of the amazing Lakeland view.

The cottage was in a great location in privacy! I would have loved to have stayed here longer. The sauna provided good steam and there was just the right amount of space in the cottage. The dog was also comfortable with freedom and a shallow beach where you could wade. Highly recommended!

Eeva was very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. We felt at home right away and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The sauna and direct access to the lake are highlights we appreciated a lot!
