Home to Goethe and Schiller, Bauhaus and rich with culture, there is so much to see and do in this area. We have lovingly renovated our little cottage, framed by roses and furnished with antiques, melding the old-world with a touch of the modern. We hope that each of our guests feels at home.

The old Ilm cycle path and the Ilm are right on the doorstep. The new Ilm cycle path on the old railway embankment is only 300m away. This is also where pure nature begins, whether on foot or by bike. Your bike is safe in the lockable bike shed. You reached the Rennsteig after 9 km.

In winter, the ski resorts of Schöneck, Mühlleiten and Klingenthal invite you to ski.
