Romantic oasis surrounded by meadows and forests. Beautiful hiking/ biking trails start directly at the house. There is a great covered barbecue with fireplace. The beautiful garden can be used in many ways. A table tennis table, a foosball and a dart board are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside the holidays, we can usually arrange the check-in/out individually.

Our holiday home is offered here in the beautiful Wohratal on the edge of the Kellerwald. Hertingshausen is a hamlet of Wohratal surrounded by forest with about 160 inhabitants . In the center of the village there is a playground and a lavender field with seating for lingering . We now offer 2 e-scooters for rent for a' 15 Euro /24h. This is a scooter with a road license that can be ridden free of a driver's license from the age of 14. If you are interested, simply report it.

Worth seeing is the castle park in the neighboring village of Rauischholzhausen. Visit the historic university town of Marburg ( 12 km away ) and follow the footsteps of St. Elizabeth. A car is an advantage. A charging station (11kW) is available for your electric car, which can be used by prior arrangement.

Our 120 sqm apartment is located in our 4500 sqm garden, surrounded by nature, between castle and cellar forest. We would be happy to welcome you with a bottle of wine. The garden was created by a landscape gardener 30 years ago. Here you can find peace and relaxation or make beautiful excursions from here.
