Mr. Jeroen was very friendly, welcoming and responsive. It’s a very cozy apartment suited for my family's two day trip to Haarlem. The kids enjoyed the Wii and Johnny the cat. No need to pay for overnight parking since there was plenty of free parking spaces on the street.

Had a lovely time at Jeroen's apartment. The apartment is situated in Harlem, which in itself is a very beautiful town and it takes about 30 to 45 min by public transport to reach Amsterdam Central. Jeroen was very friendly and welcoming, even brought us a few beers, because we misunderstood each other and we had to wait and hour before he got there. It's a great place to stay for a family or a group of friends. It's located in a residential area, the city center is walkable and it's about 45 minutes from Amsterdam. The apartment was clean, it has a well-equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and a spacious living room. My bed wasn't very comfortable and was making sounds every time i turned, but my friends did not complain about the beds, so I think it's just the one I slept in. Overall a very nice apartment, I would come back a recommend it to others.

Well i can already say that in this weekend spent by Jeroen, it was the best plan ever ! The house is realy beautifull with nice deco, evrything needed will be found, we felt ourselves at home ! And the best Part ist the super Johnie the houscat, a lovely and amazing cat who can be really kind and funny :) Harlem is also a beautifull little city that we could visit, and of course amsterdam city is luke in description in 30 min with a car. I can say i did the good choice !

This property is perfect ! Pure luxury!modern and minimalist We came here for spring break ., 2 families ... 10 guest in total. The accommodation is clean. Has a great kitchen and comfortable beds...its ideal than staying at a hotel in city and allows lots of space for kids to play... there's trampoline ., large garden area ., we felt safe here.. security gates., its next to lovely river which was idealfor walks.... our host Simone was warm and accommodating... she was very helpful... the stairs was a bit steep and excited kids that tends to run up n down may risk of falling but other than that it's perfect ! I highly recommend it ... it's 20 minutes train ride to Amsterdam central and 30 minutes drive to Keukenhof ...

Me and my friends had an amazing weekend at Simone's place! The villa is clean, modern and incredible stylish with large comfortable beds for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious enough for 10 people to simultaneously make breakfast, lunch and dinner without any problem. When arriving, Simone showed us around the house and gave us advice on where to go to buy food and how to get around in the neighbourhood. We would love to visit Harlem and Simone's place again!

We spend one weekend with four persons at Simones house. Harlem is a beautiful city and the villa is absolutly awesome! Everything is very luxury and Simone is a nice person. We hope to get there again :)

We had a few wonderful days in Haarlem. A great room in a very nice house. The two bikes we like to use. The area is ideal for cycling and really a both beach and city center can be easily reached. Loek is the best host you can imagine. Always attentive and really nice and personable. Breakfast was perfect! I will love to come back and already planning my next term rent. ;-)

We had a really nice amd fun time at Loek's, the room was perfectly fine and the breakfast was awesome! And Loek was absolutely helpful when we needed something.

A bit too far from city centre, Loek likes to painfully practice scales on his trumpet early 8.30 onwards so if you want rest this one isn't the place! We didn't get the breakfast 'thing' bread and cheese and fresh orange juice, which must be served before 10am, nothing special, so we opted to eat breakfast out in some of Haarlem's great cafes. The bikes are a great plus and Loek is a friendly guy. Lastly, getting a shower in the morning is a little competitive with the shared bathroom. Nothing special here, yet nothing terrible.

We had a very comfy stay at Loeks apartment. He was a very gentle and helpful host. We'll miss the fresh pressed orange juice tomorrow morning :)

Loek was a great host, very gentle and uncomplicated. The breakfast was delicious, especially the self-made orange juice. We could use his bikes and he gave us maps for our trips to the beach and through haarlem. The room had a nice view and it was completely quiet, the perfect place to relax and take a break. We stayed at Madelon's apartment for 5 nights, a very lovely place. We're received by Madelon's friend since she's not in town, her friend received us very well, he even took my husband to the nearest supermarket. The listing description of the apartment was spot on. We felt very at home and had plenty of space during our time in Haarlem. We especially enjoyed visiting the downtown area of Haarlem, it was a smaller localized version of bustling Amsterdam. We rented bikes in Amsterdam and easily made the bike between towns, 10/10 would stay again. Excellent host who provided great local knowledge.

The communication was good, keys flexible. Apartment was clean and matched the description. It is located in a skyscraper on the top 8th floor overlooking the city. Parking was to always get a smaller supermarket is 5 minutes away by foot. A larger shopping center 5 minutes away by car. Beds were based, sofa bed in the living room is large and comfortable. well suited for overnight stays.

The apertamento has great views, it is in a quiet location. Although not in Amsterdam has very good communication on the bus 346.

The owner is very good, we are very satisfied with the room clean and comfortable, playing back here after a day seems to have come home feeling very relaxed. Sanitary equipment is also very complete and clean. Although the location is not close from the city but it is definitely a good choice of accommodation to rest.

We had a pleasant experience staying at the house of Petra & Robert. Very clean and spacious as seen in the pictures, and generally the house. Although we did not have the opportunity to meet the host, Petra remained in communication with us. 100% recommended.

Petra and Roberts house was very welcoming and comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay. The location is very accessible from the Haarlem town centre and in a nice quiet neighbourhood with easy access to shops and public transport.

Interactions with Petra through this app was fast. We didn't get to meet her throughout our stay but communication with her was efficient and she made sure we arrived at the right house. Robert helped us with our heavy luggages when we were leaving. It was a really pleasant stay in their home. The room is cosy, the bed is comfy and the place is clean as shown in the photos. In a nice neighbourhood too. Just a little heads-up for those with heavy luggages, be prepared to carry them up the stairs from the train to the bus stop and also up to the room :)

I never met Petra and Robert even though they live there. However we communicated thru email and she was always responsive. The house is in a nice residential area, modern and clean. The room is large and bright with stairs down to bathroom. This is an ideal place for young people or those who donor mind narrow stairs.

The room is exactly as it appears in the photos. The bathroom, shared, is also very good. The main drawback is the location of the apartment. By public transport it takes 35-40 min (not 20, as the ad says) and the ticket is quite expensive. We were also surprised that at no time met the host in person, despite having agreed with them in the house.

Diedrick's boat is like heaven: a very quiet place place with an amazing view and an amazing interior. And to make our experience even better, Diedrick was the nicest host we could dream of: he had bought fruits and smoothies for the kids, and a bottle of wine for the adults. If you get a chance, try this amazing experience!!!

Perfect! The houseboat is a dream. We had such a wonderful time. Tons of Lego for our 4year old boy. A very stylisch and with Love equiped home. We did not miss anything and it felt like visiting a friend. The best is the view when you cook, while waterbirds swim right in front of you . Diederik the host is such a nice and helpful Person and it seemed as if we would have known him long before. We can recomend this houseboat to anyone!

By the canal side of ZuiderBuitenSpaarne there is an old boat converted into an houseboat in a most delicate way. High standards in a picturesque enviroment typical for Holland. Our host was very helpful and caring, all from planning what to see and where to go, as well as helping us in some transportation matters. The extra double bed outside in the little cottage were a nice surprise that made the visit comfortable for upp to 5 persons. Though i highly recommend living in the boat (3 grownup persons plus an extra bed) . Nice and tidy with a very high standard equipped houseboat. Travels by foot, bus and train is required if you want to experience more of Holland while staying. We highly recommend this living and send a grateful thankyou to our host Diederik.

My friends and I were 5 and stayed 2 days and 3 nights in Haarlem, wich is a nice neighborhood. The house is huge, and the view at the window is stunning, especially when the weather is good. We stayed in a room on the second floor, with 5 comfortable beddings, next to a room with a sofa, a table, chairs, a fridge, a kettle, a coffee maker and dishware to have breakfast and prepare our sandwiches. The bathroom is on the same floor, with a huge bathtub. Within 15/20 minutes by foot is the centre with a large choice of stores, restaurants, bars, etc. Menso printed a note to remind us of the rules in the house, and also a map and guidance to reach Amsterdam. We walked a bit, took a bus to get to Haarlem station and then a train to Amsterdam central. We spent a wonderful time there, and everytime we came across Menso or any member of his family, they'd ask if everything was going well, if we needed anything. Would highly recommend !

Patricia's apartment is really nice right on the water. There are only a few minutes walk to the center. Bikes and the car we could safely park behind the building in the spacious courtyard. My wife and I have spent a great month at Marco and Eveline's lovely, quiet and very enjoyable house with all the comfort you need, for example television in both living room and bedroom including Netflix, washing machine, dryer, great view over the polder/canal etc. We needed to have a temporary stay before moving to our newly bought house, but it has been almost like a holiday in own country. It's a very charming former farmhouse in the middle of Haarlem's polders with beautiful views, close to a canal and all kinds of beautiful cycling routes. It's a convenient way both to explore Haarlem (known for its old city centre, squares, churches, musea, cafes/terraces and being one of the best shopping towns in NL as well) and Amsterdam of course. Nearest train station is Haarlem Spaarnwoude where the train takes you to Amsterdam Central station in 15 minutes. Haarlem city centre can be reached in 10 minutes by bike. If you have a car, parking is very convenient in front of the house. Iron and ironing board were not available yet, but delivered promptly after request. Great service and warm support from Eveline and Marco during our stay. Highly recommended.

A wonderful, quiet place with fresh air and nature. The house was great and we could use the bikes to cycle around, which we enjoyed. Haarlem central was just 15mins bike ride away. Marco & Eveline were very responsive too. Recommended for those who like lots of nature!

As a former cow shed that was converted into homes this apartment has a lot of character and charm! It is close by a neighborhood of apartment buildings but feels almost as if it is in the countryside with a cow pasture out front, horses strolling down the road and the canal at the end of the street. The house had plenty of space with tons of extras from a fully stocked kitchen, to soaps and lotions, to a great wifi connection. It is very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the bed and shower. The location was the best part for us. We were able to easily visit Haarlem, Amsterdam, Keukenhof and the tulip fields within just a 10-15 minute drive and went up to The Hague in just 45 minutes. It was a wonderfully central location for exploring. There were also easily accessible restaurants and grocery stores. Having access to two bicycles was a perfect extra touch to go exploring the local area and with walking paths and a playground nearby there was plenty to keep our two-year old son moving! The fenced in backyard also gave him space to play outside where we could see him while we were making dinner in the kitchen. In the evening we could relax with Netflix which we were able to watch in English. We also had access to the computer and printer which made it easy to research the places we wanted to go and get directions. Communication was great and check-in was a breeze with Eveline meeting us at the house. All in all this was a wonderful stay. We wish we'd had more time there and would definitely stay again.

That was a wonderful trip! Marco and Eveline home is extremely well equipped, high class decorated, kitchen has all the possible cutlery and appliances, wifi is high speed and no complaints, the possibility of the use of personal PC and printer-is even too much )), the bed is 180 big and very comfortable. The house is located in the outskirts of Haarlem, but in walking distance to everything-supermarket 8-10 min, bus as well, downtown-around 15-20 min. But the best thing is that you have all green fields around, very quiet, you can walk or bike ( bikes included!!) to the park or along the channel (which is actually next to the house) every evening, which we did with great pleasure. Marco and Eveline are extremely easy to be reached, very communicative and helpful. I had no problem at all with out flight first cancelled , and then delayed. Poor Eveline was patiently waiting for us with no sign of complaint). The only thing I hate in this trip is Easyjet. Soooo, to resume-the house and the landlords are highly recommended for the trip to Holland. And Haarlem location is much better than Amsterdam-the big city is easy to reach and does not disturb. The car is recommended if you want to travel around, but not necessary if Amsterdam is your only goal. When I booked his place he immediately sent me guidelines for his house and Amsterdam - Haarlem in general and was reachable at all times. The bikes are a big plus and he even asked our height to adjust them for us (I went with a friend). The place was as described, maybe even better and through our stay he was willing to help us even though he was abroad. All I can say is a big thanks and that we enjoyed our stay.

I can't even begin to describe how amazing Vincent was. So many times he went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out that I'll never be able to thank him enough. He is such a lovely person and was tremendously sweet by sharing what he had with me. His apartment is nice and spacious and the view is spectacular. He shared his knowledge of Amsterdam freely and was very encouraging about my endeavors in Amsterdam. I could not have asked for a better host.

Vincent is an awesome host! The mattresses were clean and so comfortable. Vincent was so kind and made us coffee every morning. He was very helpful and answered all our questions. He even leant us his and his wife's bikes to bike into the Haarlem center. On our last day Vincent took us on a bike ride through a beautiful National Park and to the beach! I would recommend anyone trying to visit Holland to stay here and get a full experience with Vincent! He goes above and beyond.

We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Mr. Vincent's home. He did take out time to receive us at the bus stop and we had a short 7 mins walk to his home. He explained us everything regarding what is required. The room was very clean and he had provided us with the breakfast which was quite nice of him.Although we lived outside Amsterdam but the public transport was quite convenient and it just took us 45 mins from Haarlem to reach to Amsterdam central. Overall the neighborhood was quite peaceful and lovely. We definitely enjoyed our stay at our host's home.

Vincent is a super nice host. Room and bathroom are very clean, there is all that you need. A small breakfast is always present. Quiet location but not too far to the center. Were very happy :-)
