There are areas for sleeping, dining, cooking, working and relaxing. The kitchenette has a fridge, two burners, a microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and filtered water on tap, as well as all the kitchenware and tableware you may need. The bed has a very comfortable queen size mattress. It's all quite romantic, but you can also sleep an additional two people on the comfortable fold down sofa. There's also a farmer's market nearby on Saturdays, and two lovely parks. We love our neighborhood which is so friendly and livable! Transportation to Downtown (about 3.5 miles to Civic Center) or any of the San Francisco attractions is easy with frequent buses. Two minutes from the front door you can catch a MUNI bus to the nearby BART (underground) station. Or take a walk over Bernal Hill to BART and the Mission District and see some amazing views of the city and the Bay. Freeway access is nearby and easy. Bernal Heights is a very popular neighborhood. It's interesting, safe, convenient, beautiful, quiet. The best place to live in SF!
  • Good place to stay, close to Cortland with great retail shops. Definitely has that 1920s air about it.

  • Everything was like the pictures. We had an issue with the wifi but Mike and Nic resolve that issue very fast. They were very fast to answer our questions.

    Lynda2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Mike and Nic are charming and caring hosts. The accommodation is perfect for a couple. Everything is clean, good mattress, good hot water, good WiFi connection. Bernal Heights is a quiet residential area with a few local shops. The only downside for users of public transport, you will need to allow at least 45 min for a trip to the city center. Thank you for your welcome, Roger and Chantal

  • Great area full of gems- check out the swing and the slide for sure. Nic and Mike amazing hosts.

    Zelda2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, beautiful decorated, very private and cozy apartment in an excellent neighborhood. The communication with hosts was very efficient. I would definitely recommend this place.

    Sebastián2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic! The neighborhood was wonderful; we walked to breakfast every morning, and watched the sunset from the hill behind the house. Mike & Nic were out of town when we arrived but Chrissy took great care of us, and gave us a bunch of great tips for places to see/eat while we were in town! We couldn't figure out the gas fireplace the first night but Chrissy came right over and helped us. Loved this apartment, bigger than it looks in the ad and well-appointed, cozy, just all around a wonderful experience. We will definitely book this place the next time we visit San Francisco!

One bedroom sanctuary with a beautiful garden view and cozy fireplace. Comes with it's own entrance just steps from bus lines, train, and all that Haight Street has to offer. Complete privacy with a separate bedroom, bathroom, and breakfast bar. There is a pull-out twin bed in the living room as well.
If you want to be within walking distance to Golden Gate Park, Haight St, Buena Vista Park, and Cole Valley, this is the spot. Full size bed in the bedroom with 400 thread count sheets and a pull-out twin in the living room. Just installed fireplace and large screen tv makes hanging out fun in the comfortable living room. Bathroom has a shower within the tub and white fluffy towels.
You will hear from many that this is the best neighborhood in SF. I chose this area for the many Victorian homes, the ease of mass transit, the walkability, and the abundance of parks, restaurants, and nightlife nearby. As a recent transplant to this area I can tell you that the stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs are great here. I forget I have a car most of the time! Street parking is easy except for Wednesday 8-10 due to street cleaning.
  • Found by my daughter, booked by me, loved by my wife! Sara was a perfect host from the minute we arrived, to the moment we left amongst the lock down in San Francisco due to Covid-19 We settled in overnight and felt at home We spent a lot of our time exploring the Ashbury Haight-Ashbury area and learning about its musical past and admiring the beautiful buildings It’s a excellent location and the transport links are very good - No 6 bus being one example. Come to San Francisco!

    David2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great host with brilliant communication from the offset. Great local tips and clear check in and check out instructions. Lovely, comfortable apartment - it’s in a fantastic location with lots of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Felt really local. We loved our time in San Fran and it was the perfect base for us.

    Kirsty2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Sara was a very gracious host. She welcomed me with a friendly smile and was very helpful with all of my questions and requests. I would definitely stay at her place again. Such a convenient location for all things Haight Asbury!!!

    Anita2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We’ve just returned from a 6 night stay at the Garden Retreat. It was a perfect location for us as it is a peaceful neighbourhood away from downtown, but all the sights were easily accessible by public transport - about 15 mins on the metro. Cole Valley is nearby with some great places to eat and it only takes 30 minutes to walk up to the Twin Peaks viewing point for unparalleled views of the city. Can’t recommend the area and the accommodation enough.

    Jonathan2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Sara is a great host, very flexible and easy to communicate with. The place is nice and clean with lots of great extra linens. Very comfortable.

    Sadie2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Sara's airbnb and I would definitely recommend. The location is so great for accessing Golden Gate Park and a quick commute downtown. Sara was a perfect host and we felt right at home in her cozy place. Will be back!

    Michelle2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had a great time here. Sara was very helpful and lovely. It's in a great location to explore San Francisco. It felt very private and safe staying here. There is so much to do and see in San Francisco we wanted to stay longer!

Relax around the fire pit on the private patio at this garden Craftsman studio. Smooth concrete, edison bulb lighting, and chunky furniture create an industrial look, while the open-plan layout keeps things relaxed and comfortable.
This studio promises to absolutely take your breath away upon first sight. Cool and romantic, carefully decorated and recently renovated by master architects; the space gives you plenty of room to breath while still retaining a sense of invigorating calm. Abundantly spacious with the addition of our beautiful back garden and shack - this home guarantees the stay of a life time.
The Outer Richmond holds all of the excitement of San Francisco while retaining a low-key feel. Nowhere else has unique and delicious eateries, a surfers' beach, museums, parks, hiking, and historical sites all within close walking distance.
  • This place is a sanctuary. So cool, peaceful and relaxing. Lots of space, short walk to an area of restaurants, yoga & cafe’s. Close to beach and park too. Loved staying here and will definitely book again.

    Robin2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a solo traveler or couple. The space was clean and the hosts were very friendly.

    Alexandra2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Stay of a month in this pretty little apartment located under that of the guests, recommended for 2 (privacy limited to 4 since the sofa bed is a few meters from the bed). Near a Safeway, rather cute and very nice area for a long stay (close to the beach, near the Golden Gate Park, no homeless, it feels very safe). Adorable and attentive hosts, they have solved all the worries that we have encountered (breakdown of heating, need to borrow their number for a delivery of food ...) in a very fast time! The only real flaw in our opinion, parking is more difficult than it seems to be in the ad, in any case in general it's true that it is easy to find a place in the day, but it gets harder and harder as the clock ticks on, so be prepared to turn in a lot of streets if you come back late in the week. Advantage nonetheless, the parking is completely free, just pay attention to weekly or monthly street cleaning but it is very well indicated on the panels.

    Jérémie2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts that were always super available, helpful and so nice.

    Daniel2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Josh and Lizzie were amazing hosts! Very responsive and accomodating. Nice quiet neighborhood with lots to do around the corner on Balboa. Buses are convenient and take about 30mins to downtown.

    Kyler2018-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Josh was a great host, very helpful. He addressed all my questions and needs in a prompt manner. Flat is nicelly equipped and very cosy. Has beautiful garden. Location is great for people who lobe peace and quiet, nature ans ocean. Well connected with down town SFO. Beach is beautiful. Must try - devils teeth bakery and java beach coffee shop. I had a great stay

    Lidija2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • We were lucky enough to spend two whole months living in Josh and Lizzie’s 'Beautiful Beachside Home' and it is just a beautiful as the photo’s suggest. It is a great space, bigger than we imagined and in May and June the garden was beautiful with all of the plants in bloom. When the sun is shinning the garden is a real sun trap with protection from the wind that sometimes comes from the sea, which is only a few blocks away. The location is excellent, with not just the beach on your doorstep but also Golden Gate Park, Sutro Heights/Baths, Seal Rock and Lands End a short walk away. In fact if like us you love to just stare are the Golden Gate Bridge then there is a great view of that from Lands End just 10/15 minutes walk away. The neighbourhood facilities only a short walk away in Balboa Street are excellent, with many varied resturant options to suit every budget and having a cinema on your doorstep was really special. Look out for the classic Thursday movies which include old favourites and movies you might have missed on their first release. The monthly theme is usually the director of the movies. We spent our two months here without a car! The bus services are excellent and great value (use the MUNI App) as is UBER and if you don’t mind walking there is so much more to see as you explore the different neighbourhoods San Francisco has to offer. Josh and Lizzie are the perfect hosts, never obtrusive but always there when you need them, they made us feel very welcome and at home. We would have no hesitation in staying here again it was so much better than staying in a hotel downtown. We felt like we really got to know San Francisco and this was probably our 5th of 6th visit in 25 years.

    Stephen2017-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Josh and Lizzie's place was exactly as advertised. Would absolutely stay there again.

  • This was our 2nd stay with Jeffrey. The room is spacious, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Location is perfect and Jeffrey a kind and thoughtful host.

  • Great location in Pacific Heights near restaurants, pastry shops and shopping. Owner’s art and decor made staying in this vintage home a fun experience.

  • I’ve now found my new favorite place to stay in San Francisco. I travel here frequently and have stayed in a number of Airbnb’s and jeffrey’s is the best. It is a stylish space with plenty of room, a great bathroom, comfortable bed, wonderful neighborhood and, despite its central location, the quietest sleep I’ve had in the city. Jeffrey was responsive and it’s a good value. Thank you!

    Lisa2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Hey Jeffrey, the room is very well designed and also very clean. Thanks for watching our luggage after check out. Best wishes Britta

  • This spot is perfect for a visit to the city of San Francisco. The en suite room has all the amenities you'll need, and everything is spotless. Jeff and Mike are incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the space is comfortable and cozy. Jeff and Mike gave lots of recommendations before I arrived and also pointed me to terrific dining areas just around the corner once I was ready to explore. The space is safe for a woman traveling alone, and the hosts are very quick to respond to any request or query. I would return to this location without hesitation. Thank you, Jeff and Mike!

  • Blair was so understanding and kind! We stayed three months and it was the perfect spot! So thankful for her hospitality.

    Ivy2020-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • I was fortunate enough to live in Blair's apartment for the past year. The apartment is stylish, chic and well equipped. The location cannot be beat with fabulous Filmore and Union Streets just blocks away. Blair responded immediately to any questions or issues I had. She is also super nice and super helpful! Staying in Blair's apartment was a very positive experience. I was sad to say goodbye!

    Laura2020-01-16T00:00:00Z

  • We were fortunate enough to stay in Blair’s apartment for 5 months. It was absolutely perfect. The apartment is stylishly furnishes with everything we needed for a long term stay. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Furthermore, the location is perfect. You have easy access to the best part of the city (in my opinion). A quick walk to Fillmore street as well as Union, Chestnut and Polk. We will would stay again in a heartbeat.

  • Blair’s place is awesome! We used to live in SF for a year in 2014 and know pretty much about the city. And i can tell the location of blair’s house is the best in SF. Nicely decorated and well equipped. We enjoyed our staying here for 6 days. Would like to recommend anyone to stay at her place. Thank you

This beautiful two bedroom/one bath apartment is located in the Castro/Duboce Triangle and in walking distance to Upper and Lower Haight, NOPA, and the Mission. Lot's of transportation, corner stores, grocery stores, and fantastic restaurants are in walking distance. If you come with car, street parking is quite easy here but it is restricted. However, there is paid parking around the corner at the hospital garage and there is also a street nearby where you can park your car for a week.
What I love most about the apartment is how truly bright it is. Big windows allow for lot's of natural lighting. The space is quite big (for San Francisco standards) with a nice large kitchen for cooking. The guest room is facing the back which is quiet and shielded from street noise.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe with cute little streets, beautiful houses and lot's of parks. And if you are in the mood for entertainment you only need to walk a few block to find great places to eat and drink and people watch.
  • Everything as expected! Clean, welcoming, convenient and stylish. Highly recommend for anyone that is visiting the Bay area.

Welcome to "The Mission," the sunniest neighborhood in town. Enjoy world-class dining, shopping, and nightlife on Valencia, or a Tartine picnic in Dolores Park, all just steps from our 100 year old home. We've been Hosts since Airbnb's 1st year (2009), and can suggest restaurants or insider sight-seeing ideas. We love our home, our hometown, and our neighborhood, and we look forward to sharing them with you. PLEASE click below to read more about this private room and bath in a shared home.
Your sunny room looks out over a lush garden, and includes all the comforts of home... Queen bed, sofa, dresser, closet, and a rocking chair. Just up the hall, your private bathroom has a "like rain" shower head over a clawfoot tub. (The bathroom is not "en-suite.") For a third guest (or for two guests who want separate beds) there is a full second bedroom available. ($60/night, and only available if you book Mission Sunshine.)
Located between Valencia Street and Dolores Park, we are in a great location for exploring the Mission, as well as the rest of San Francisco. It's an easy walk to the Castro, Haight Street, Hayes Valley, and Noe Valley. And we're close to BART and Muni, so it's easy to visit the Ferry Building, Union Square, Downtown... Everywhere! Then again, you might not want to leave the neighborhood at all... Here's a very incomplete list of spots within 4 blocks of our home: Foodie Heaven: Tartine, Delfina, Bi Rite Market, Mission Chinese Food, Locanda, Foreign Cinema, BiRite Creamery, the list goes on - and seems to grow daily! Shopping: 826 Valencia (Dave Eggers' Pirate Supply Store!), Paxton Gate, Curiosities for Kids, Beta Brand, Mission Bicycle, Self Edge, Weston Wear, Shoe Biz... Dolores Park, the Chapel (for live music), Clarion Alley (home to the CAMP Mural project), the Women's Building (maybe the most famous of the famous Mission Murals), Mission Pool (seasonal outdoor swimming, walk there in your towel, it's 3 doors down!)...
  • Ivan and Wendy are amazing hosts and their place is super comfortable and located next to amazing restaurants. I highly recommend this stay.

    Sandy2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect an exceptionally pretty and comfortable room in a gorgeous and typical San Francisco house. Ivan and Wendy seem to have a knack for making things pretty and practical at the same time. They have thought of everything you might need, and are fun to run into too. The house is spotless by the way. The neighborhood is lively, diverse, and studded with places that inspire you to want to eat or drink there. Definitely a comfortable, cozy, authentic, and pleasant base from which to see San Francisco.

    Claudia2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • I had a lovely stay at Ivan & Wendy's! Their home is gorgeous and they are so sweet! They made me feel right at home and even ate dinner with me while watching Schitt's creek together my first night at their place. They also shared awesome recommendations for both dining and shopping. This trip was my first time doing a private room rather than an entire place but I felt I had all the privacy I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and all of the amenities were great. The location is also incredible, right in the heart of the Mission with tons of great restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  • Amazing home and location! Ivan & Wendy were so welcoming and accommodating of me and my 2 year old son. The room was as beautiful as pictured with thoughtful touches like a nice big bathroom, lots of natural light, comfortable seating, and a toy box for my kiddo. The house is around the corner from a fun shopping street with many food options and a terrific playground. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

Relax with an evening drink on the rooftop terrace of this quiet apartment with majestic skyline views. Let the light in from two bay windows, admire monochrome art, and savor the modern charm of mirrors and metallic accents throughout. Please note that we cannot rent our studio for less than 30 days due rental restrictions in San Francisco. Our parking space fits compact car only. Please note that we will pay for up to $100 of the electric bill which is usually more than enough. You will be responsible for anything beyond that amount.
Our studio includes parking for a compact, midsize, or entry-level luxury car. If your car doesn't fit (SUVs won't fit) you'll need to use street parking, which is metered, or pay for parking at a nearby garage. Check-in time depends on the day of the week. Absolutely no smoking is permitted in our studio. We also appreciate if guests avoid using strong perfumes/colognes while staying at our studio. This modern studio is located in one of SF's newer buildings. It has light brown floors, brand new furniture, and includes wifi and a 39 inch flat screen TV which streams Roku, Amazon Prime, Netflix and over 60 local channels. In addition to the everyday essentials expected in a modern home (heating, oven, fridge, etc), a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, iron, blow dryer and a washer/dryer are included for your convenience. Our unit is extremely quiet; excellent for getting a good night's rest on a cozy queen size bed. The building's common areas are monitored around the clock for your security. The entrance to Highway 101 - southbound (to the Peninsula) and northbound (to the East Bay) - is 4 minutes away. In the event 3 guests want to sleep on separate beds, you can use the daybed sofa which is around the same size as a single bed.
The apartment is in the Civic Center area, close to all of the city's nightlife and sights, and just two blocks away from the SF Opera. City Hall and the SF Federal Building are only two blocks away. Three bus routes stop 200m from the front door. Please note that we cannot rent our studio for less than 30 days due rental restrictions in San Francisco.
  • Wonderful hosts, clean modern space. The parking spot in the gated garage was so convenient too.

  • Great studio apartment with nice furniture, it is fully equipped. It had everything I needed. The view from the window was spectacular. Really cool to look at the sunset at Civic Center. The building is big and secure, it is in the Tenderloin district where there are sometimes a lot of homeless, but the apartment was quiet and very nice to live in.

    Andreas2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great time, the space was clean and stylish, it had all the essentials, Carlos and Graciela, were always available, at one time I needed a key for the garage and their response was timely, the place is small but cozy and comfortable.

  • This place is perfect! It’s quiet and cozy. It’s extremely well located and Carlos and Graciela made it super easy for me. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home.

  • I highly recommend this cute nook to anyone who is interested in visiting SF for a bit. The smart TV was a plus as well as parking!

  • Everything was great, as in listing description.

The suite is conveniently located steps away from major bus lines and minutes from some of the best SF has to offer!! Located in sunny Silver Terrace neighborhood of San Francisco only a ten minute cab ride to the airport and ten more to the heart of the city. Close aproximity to freeways keeps cab ride fares low!
Enjoy your very own newly rennovated private suite. The suite is bright and airy. Free allocated parking on the property. ($75 value) There's a quaint kitchen which is equipped with all the necessities to make a great meal (e.g. coffee maker, burner top, and toaster oven). A built-in table with swivel bar stools is across the way for a cozy sit down dining experience. The suite is outfitted with a queen Tempurpedic mattress for optimal sleeping comfortability. There is also a sofa which can be converted to a bed. I provide all the linens for the bed as well as the sofa sleeper. I have a flat screen TV with cable. The Tv is wall mounted and can swivel. The bathroom is tucked behind a barn door for complete privacy. There's a frameless standing shower big enough for 2 people, vanity with plenty of counter space, and large walk-in closet. I provide hand soap, blow dryer, towels, and toilet paper. The backyard garden space is a shared area. I believe you will really enjoy the space that I have created. Happy travels!
  • Very pleasant stay and clean place. Host was very responsive and very detailed on instructions.I do recommend to read the manual that the host provides as it’ll help you.

  • The place is cute and clean. Lauren was super quick to respond and easy to communicate with!

    Danielle2020-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren's place was very warm and welcoming! The place is very well designed and I really loved the amazingly comfortable bed. The walk-in closet was also a big plus too! I didn't get a chance to use the backyard/garden area but it looked really lovely. Thank you for a great stay!

  • Fantastic spot for a stay in San Francisco! Cozy with everything you'd need to feel at home.

    Veronica2020-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, quiet, with great amenities. Lauren provided a lot of tips for things to do in the city. Also very quick with responses!

    Paris2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Had such pleasant stay here with my bf for my bday weekend and honestly would come back whenever I have the chance to come back to San Fran! The place is really nice and clean! Most of all we really like that we have our own private entrance to our place and everything was super easy access! Our host Lauren was awesome, she gave us some recommendations what to do and eat around the area which was super helpful! This place is a must if you need a place to stay if you’re in SF :)

    Vivian2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is definitely a diamond in the rough. The place was very clean and the interior design was very well put together. We felt like we were at home. Which is the best feeling ever being out of town somewhere. Like everyone says, “Right next to the freeway with a 10-15 min Uber ride into the city.” It was averaging around $10-$18 depending on the range/ time of day. We will definitely come back to this place again. Plus free parking on their driveway. That is one of the hugest pluses when going into a city with crowded parking. She is a great host and responds so quickly. Don’t try to be bad and boujee. Just book it.

    Alberto2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren's place is very nice and comfortable. Lauren is kind and helpful. Great host communication. We enjoyed our stay.

Once you book, you can see the Guidebook with 80+ nearby recommended restaurants and places to go. This location is quiet and private, but it's about a 1 mile walk to restaurants, so usually you'll start your adventures with a short car ride. Best to plan to travel during non-commute hours. Getting around is pretty easy. Car services arrive so fast you have to be ready when you call. Buses run nearby that go nice places. • Budi’s place is located in a strategic location. I was here when the shelter-in-place just started. There are a lot of restaurants within 2-minutes walk, safeway is within 10 minutes walk, and Golden Gate Park within 15 minutes walk. The bathroom is shared with another person that I have no issue at all since he has different schedules than me. Budi and Pat are really nice. I really enjoyed my stay with them.

    Abraham2020-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Budi is an easy-going, friendly guy who asks thoughtful questions and really cares about his guests. The room was large and cozy with a comfortable bed. The area is quite strategic as you are very close to GG park and GG bed. I would stay here again.

  • A very comfortable Airbnb in an excellent location. Close walking distance to lots of restaurants, shopping and the Golden Gate Park. Budi is a very responsive and thoughtful host. Would definitely come and stay again when visiting San Francisco.

  • Budi is a kindness person, and we prayed together and got a good fellowship in his house. The parking lot is more convenient and I found some good foods and Chinese restaurant around his house. I like it. Budi is a very friendly person, Easy parking and delicious Chinese food around!

    Sarah Joy2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you, Budi. Perfect location near Golden Gate Park and Golden Gate Bridge. The room is big and the bed was wonderful. Sheets, pillows, covers were high quality and so very soft. Slept wonderfully. Parking was splendid. Budi was attentive and very kind. Pat sat down for breakfast with us and told us where to go and what to look out for. We forgot a toy under the sheets. Budi texted me about it and will be mailing out. My son loves that little dragon! How thoughtful of them to keep it and contact me rather than throw it away. Just an example of the kind of people Budi and Pat are. Lovely, kind souls.

Relax in this quaint gem that has been renovated with privacy and luxury in mind. Carefully selected decor and amenities lend an elegant yet classic look to the space. Explore the surrounding area, head to the beach, or visit Golden Gate Park nearby.
Oh... and did I mention the location? Nestled in the trendy Outer Sunset District you will find maximum convenience. Here for a conference or special event? Runner? Cyclist? Surfer? Need to park a car? Out on vacation? There's a little something for everyone. The N-Judah MUNI line runs a quarter block from the unit. Close enough to get out and go and just far enough where you won't hear it. It will take you across the whole city through downtown/financial district/AT&T Park. Less than five minutes' walk to the west you're at Ocean Beach or north you're in Golden Gate Park. Outer Sunset has become quite its own identity over the years. Trendy restaurants sit next to old school hole-in-the-wall spots that have stood the test of time. I'm a third generation San Franciscan and have lived all over the city and I must say Outer Sunset has more of a district pride feel than anywhere I've lived. Feel free to reach out during your stay if you need anything or want some recommendations. Amenities: Private entrance Free Street parking WIFI Queen sized memory foam bed - blow-up mattress available on request Couch Washer/Dryer Extra sheets and blankets Smart 55-Inch Samsung TV where you can log in and watch your favorite Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO shows Modern Bathroom - Body Soap, Shampoo, Hair Dryer, Towels, Iron Full Kitchen - microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, garbage disposal, feel free to ask if there's anything you need that's not in stock Welcome Book with local recommendations, public transportation tips, running routes Close to unique stores, killer coffee spots, amazing food Close to the beach, Golden Gate Park, Lands End, the Zoo Quick public transportation to the center of the city 20-30 minute drive from SFO Pleasantly accommodates two with a max of three people Feel free to reach out if you need anything or if I can make your stay more pleasant. I'm new at this so any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy San Francisco while you're here... I'm utterly biased but I do think it's one of the greatest cities we have! Thanks, Tyler
Nestled in the trendy Outer Sunset District, this spot offers maximum convenience. Whether you're a runner, cyclist, surfer, in town for a conference or special event, or just visiting, there's a little something for everyone.

We were even able to leave our bags since no one was staying the next day. Very clean and updated. Recommend to anyone looking for a nice place for two people.

It's very conveniently located near the Muni Transit line. The bed was super soft. They stocked the fridge with snacks and waters. I would definitely recommend the location. The were the best host. • I stayed at Je & Darren's place for a month. I had a full time job to go and was also house hunting. Walk to the Muni stop was just 5 mins which made my commute easier. I had my doubts about the shared baths, but had absolutely zero issues. I was able to rest well thanks to their silent hours rule. Je & Darren was so accommodative to my requests, I was able to receive packages which helped me move into my apartment seamlessly. It was a wonderful stay, thanks Je & Darren :)

  • I loved the room, and all the house, everthing always clean, and had everthing that I needed to cook in the kitchen, and when I needed to talk about something you were available to help, My stayed was incredible, I just want to say thank you for everthing!

    Alex2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, quiet, and safe neighborhood that is super close to the L Muni stop. My roommate and I loved the cute kitchen and having two bathrooms was definitely a plus. You get your own locked room inside a shared apartment and you share two bathrooms that are frequently cleaned by the owners themselves. When we arrived, it was super easy to get into the apartment through their padlock. Their beds were a good touch on the experience, and this place is also super close to the Shabu Shabu place that is down the street (along with Safeway/Walgreens).

    Kevin2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Je and Derren’s place for a little over a month, and it was everything we needed for the temporary long term stay. Je and Derren were really friendly, responsive, and incredibly accommodating during our stay and did everything they could to make us comfortable. Our room and the shared spaces were cute and modern. We couldn’t have ask for a better host experience and would totally recommend to anyone looking for long term stay!

  • Amazing place! Stay here if you get the chance. The place was extremely clean and updated with modern finishes. It was centrally located, so it did not take us long to get anywhere. The street we stayed on is super quiet, but still close to everything we needed. We were also able to park for free on the street right outside. Je & Derren greeted us when we checked in, showed us around, and made themselves available to us during our stay. Their guidebook and tips were a great touch as we used them to find places to eat. Overall, great stay!

    Rachel2018-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place is fantastic! So clean and was insanely convenient to go to and from when we needed to. They really have this down to a science! Also, we took them up on some of their local tips and got our BEST MEAL after 5 days in San Fran from a Cuban place called cha cha cha.

    Shane2018-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • I & Derren are caring and always smiling hosts! The house is located 5min from the L line, which in addition to passing very often, is perfect for quickly reaching downtown San Francisco. We were also close to all kinds of shops, from the supermarket, restaurants and laundromat. The neighborhood is totally secure! Common areas are clean and maintained by a housekeeper. We had a great time, not to mention that our hosts were kind enough to take us to Twin Peaks at night, one of our most memorable memories! Thanks again I & Derren :)

    Lucie2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • So convenient. Perfect for the two nights I needed. It was modern, clean, and very much built around servicing Airbnb customers. I recommend it for anyone spending a few nights in the city! I would come back.

  • This place is very comfortable and will fit all your needs. The location is perfect especially if you plan on using public transportation. If you have the time to relax I suggest making some coffee and sitting outside on the private porch area. Lola is extremely friendly if you get a chance to meet her. Highly recommend staying here.

    Olivia2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Rebecca and Seth are really welcoming hosts. The space is small, but cozy, the bed is really comfortable. The bathroom / shower are perfect for the space, with really nice natural light. The deck / garden, with beautiful southern view, for me seal the deal, providing a nice outdoor space, again, with really beautiful San Francisco natural light, fresh air and relaxing space. The location is perfect for me as I am visiting my kids who live 3 minutes drive from here and I know San Francisco well. Parking is easy, public transportation is nearby, as are local markets and restaurants. Will definitely stay again!!

  • If, like me, you enjoy relaxing in the evening, then this property is perfect. Only a few minutes by Uber from the hectic center and yet you always have a peaceful spot to return to. The room is comfortable and sparkling clean, very good ensuite shower and facilities. but what won my heart is the private terrace are the back. So whether travelling on holiday or business this is a property to consider

    Christopher2019-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • This location was perfect for our stay! The hosts have thought through every detail. There is easy access to public transit, and plenty to do in an easily accessible area. Lola was absolutely the sweetest dog ever and will spend as much or little time with you as you desire. We had an opportunity to meet the hosts and they were both so friendly and offered help for anything we could think of. When I return back to SF, I will definitely rebook this place!!

    Zakkrey2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Rebecca's place was amazing. The room was comfortable and the deck had a great view and different areas where one can relax. Parking the rented car was no issue at all. Rebecca and Seth were always helpful with regards to any questions and flexible with the timings as well. Lola is a cute doggo , super friendly and fun to play with.

  • Great stay at the Grant Plaza Hotel. Good location close to Chinatown and a quick walk to the financial district. Check in was quick and easy. We just had to pay a deposit upon arrival. Really great stay! Thank you!

    Michelle2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • A bare bones motel that's well connected to downtown SF. Note: this hotel does not have ANY air conditioning/heating, so I would definitely ask for a space heater from the front desk during the colder months. Really what made the difference from this being an unpleasant experience was how friendly and polite the front desk staff was when we asked for a heater and when they were checking us in. Right within the gate of Chinatown, there were few guests but they were nice and sociable with us. You get what you pay for & our experience went without too much of a hitch.

  • My personal favorite Airbnb I've ever stayed at. Mary was very accommodating and kind. The room itself is amazing, very comfortable and relaxing. The location is super ideal for anyone visiting SF. The wifi was a bit choppy at times throughout the day but that's hardly an issue. Overall, I would definitely recommend this space to anyone visiting SF (:

  • Mary’s room is very beautiful and stylish! It looks even better than the pictures, we didn’t want to leave! The room is impeccably clean and has everything one could wish for (including hairdryer!). The bed is big and comfortable. We loved the soft pillows and the snowy white bed sheets and towels. The bathroom is spacious and beautifully decorated. Our room had a lovely balcony with a view on Transamerica building and Ritz-Carlton hotel. The location is very central and close to everything, including Union Square, Chinatown, Financial District, shopping malls (Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue), boutiques etc. Mary is a great host, is very responsive, and answered any questions we had quickly. We were able to check in earlier what is very much appreciated. Mary thank you for the wonderful experience and for your outstanding hospitality! We will be happy to stay here again next time we are in San Francisco!

Brew a cup of coffee in a cozy kitchen with elegant tiling and find a seat on a decked patio wrapped in a leafy garden. Curl up with a book on a modern sofa in a living area boasting colorful paintings, a stocked bookcase, and exposed wood beams.
The unit is a private apartment below the main house with a private entrance. There is one bedroom and a pull out queen sofa. There is room for approx four people (2 per bed) and one bathroom. The summer kitchen features a brand new quartz counter top, beautiful spanish tile backsplash, drink refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster oven (for light heating), and a full set of dishes and glass ware for pizza night at home. There is closet and shelf space for your extra goods and an iron with an ironing board. It's so close to the action it's not even funny! :-)
The apartment occupies the remodeled lower level of a house in the historic Castro neighborhood. A vibrant nightlife and dining scene is steps away. Head to the iconic Castro Theatre to see a film or take a scenic stroll to Mission Dolores Park.

Walking distance to the Lower Haight, Mission and Castro areas. Many breakfast places within 2 blocks.
No food in room: eat in kitchen. Housekeeper comes in twice a week to do thorough cleaning of flat (except occupied guest room) and sanitizing 1.5 baths and quartzite surfaces in kitchen. Dogs no more than 25lbs/12kg, please. Smoking in Tree House (back deck) only, please.
Old-time San Francisco charm, a semi-rural setting in The City.
  • Location is really, really good. Much better than we were expecting. The place is certainly clean. Our only issue was with regards to meals 'at home'. Stephen requests that you should eat in the kitchen, which is fair enough because the bedroom is beautiful and would be difficult to clean if crumbs and drinks were spilt. However, the kitchen is rather cluttered and constantly smells like cat food making meals at home a rather undesirable experience. If you love cats, he has two wonderfully adorable large cats names Roger and Sam. Absolute sweet hearts the both of them. If you are looking for a place to lay your head in a really convenient part of San Francisco, Stephen's home is the one for you as long as you don't mind sharing a bathroom and toilet (both were clean, and our timetables never clashed) and if you eat out for most meals.

    Meredith2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Stephen's place was great. The location is impossible to beat, the street is peaceful and there are cafe's, supermarkets and parks right around the corner. The house itself is beautiful, and with a lot of charm. The room is big and very cozy, and with amazing window views through which beautiful light comes in in the mornings. Stephen is a great host, it was a pleasure to meet him. We know we will be coming back to San Francisco, and the first place we'll look for availability will definetely be Stephen's place!

    Gary2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • David’s place is great. I really liked the studio. So nice to have a full well appointed kitchen and bath. The bedroom is spacious and comfy with a seating area. The space heater came in handy and I enjoyed the private entry, and the thoughtful details like soaps and scented room freshener spray. Also, the driveway parking spot is a huge plus. I love the sunlight that comes in the morning. Perfect morning at David’s: cup of coffee, crawl back in bed, open the curtains and bask in the sun beams for the slow wake-up with a view into the lush, green and flowery garden. Flowers in February and March! Restaurants and cafes are a block away, there’s a handy bus line at the street corner, and the ocean is nearby as well as many other amenities that David told me about. This is a true San Francisco neighborhood with everything you need, I got to live like a San Franciscan. Great place.

Plan the day while sipping coffee at the white lacquer dining table of this stylish, second-floor flat in a Victorian home. Orange textiles, colorful ceramics, and board games are eclectic accents amid minimalist furnishings and pale hardwood floors.
Private studio flat on the second floor of a duplexed home with one flight of steps to get to the entrance and two more to get into the door. Street unmetered parking or a space can be made available nearby for an additional fee.
Situated between the heights and sites of Bernal Hill, known for its stunning views, the studio is close to shops, cafes, and restaurants, including some of the best taquerias in town. The Mission District is also nearby.
  • Jan and Bernard are the most caring hosts I've had so far using Airbnb. They checked in every now and then to ensure my experience was remarkable. The studio has all the amenities you could need for every day things. It was very convenient to have a Safeway so close to the area.

    Eduardo2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is clearly the best place to stay in SF !

    Andréa2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jan and Bernard’s rental is excellent and highly recommended. It comes well stocked. The location is great, near Bart and many fine restaurants. We enjoyed hiking up to the top of Bernal Park daily. J&B were very quick to answer any text questions we had. If you need a long term rental you won’t find a better value in SF.

    Jim2019-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for a month and really loved my stay. The flat was compact, yet very efficient and looked and felt spacious. I was concerned about having the bed so close to the fridge, but it was a very quiet fridge. Everything was so comfortable about the space. The walk through the neighborhood was always enjoyable. I commuted everyday via a walk to the 24th and Mission Street BART stop and then it was only 3 quick stops to Market and Powell Streets. Nearby on Mission, I enjoyed a few nightly stops at great neighborhood bars - Virgil's and The Royal Cuckoo. And Safeway was a short walk- with great views on the way back home. Thanks Jan and Bernard for a wonderful stay. I wish I had San Francisco on my schedule again soon...but you'll certainly hear from me again someday.

  • Spent a month at this studio and everything was phenomenal. Jar of cookies waiting for me at my arrival, after my own heart for sure! Very clean, very functional space. Having a private dishwasher and washer/dryer is a touch of class I'm typically not graced with! Location great as well. Nice quiet neighborhood, but steps away from the essentials: grocer, convenience store, drug store not to mention all the wonders of Mission and Valencia mere blocks away. Had a great time and Jan made everything easy. Cheers!

This is a nice little room in a four bedroom house in the Mission District. It has a very comfy double sized bed and lots of storage. A big window with lots of natural light. Fast internet connection and access to a sunny rooftop.
The house sits right next to the oldest standing house in San Francisco, our house is about the same age, with its quirks and weird architectural design. It might not be fancy but has a lot of character and charm. There is a toilet/sink room and a separate shower room with an extra sink, a large kitchen and laundry area in the back. You also would have access to our unit downstairs with an extra kitchen and bathroom/shower and the chance to meet fellow travelers.
The house is located just one block away from all the fun of 24th st. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, galleries, markets and street art around. The Mission is one of the districts that offers more fun in San Francisco, there are plenty of restaurants, galleries, coffee shops, bars and clubs to visit. Lots of parks too: Potrero Del Sol park, Garfield Square and Precita Park are just a short walk away.

Recently Remodeled, private unit in downstairs of our home. Includes a full bathroom, bedroom w/very comfortable queen bed, 2nd room with fully equipped kitchenette, living room/TV with deluxe queen sofa sleeper. Convenient location - 7 minute walk to BART and major transportation hub. Free street parking w/out the common 2hr restrictions. Superbly Clean. Eco-friendly.
Guests have the entire downstairs area which is accessed from the garage. There are two rooms connected by a wide hallway. There is a sliding 'barn door' between them. Your rental covers the entire downstairs unit - no other guests will be put in the other room. The interior room is where the main bedroom is set up. There is a queen bed with new sealy mattress with suregaurd hypoallergenic protector, organic cotton sheets, and down comforter. The 2nd room has a wonderful sofa (sofa pulls out into a queen bed and with a foam mattress that is very comfortable), full kitchenette (microwave, sink, mini-fridge, 2 burner stove, toaster, blender, etc.), flatscreen TV with basic cable, DVD player (and selection of DVDs), and streaming Netflix (can also plug into the TV with a HDMI adapter). We provide tea, coffee, and bath toiletries. The 2nd room has a window that looks out to the garden. There is wifi and internet speed is good. The bathroom is lovely and has a shower, toilet, sink vanity. If you are utilizing the 2nd room as a 2nd bedroom, please be advised that the bathroom is accessed through the main bedroom. Everything is new as we completed a total remodel in December 2015. We focused on creating a healthy, sustainable space; used zero VOC paints, installed cork flooring and denim insulation, there is 100% LED lighting, high efficiency heater & water heater, and energy star appliances. About 50% of the energy needs of the house are supplied by solar panels on the rooftop.
Ingleside is a working family & transit oriented neighborhood that, like many areas of San Francisco, is evolving. There are new restaurants and services nearby along Ocean Ave. corridor, but we are still far from a 'food mecca'. There is a Whole Foods market on Ocean Ave. in walking distance. Mission St. is also close by and offers many eating options. The Glen Park and Mission neighborhoods are nearby and offer many higher end restaurants. If you like yoga, Yoga Flow, is a wonderful studio nearby. In our welcome letter we give some recommendations of local eateries.
  • Everything was amazing!! Great hosts, extremely clean place, perfect location with breathtaking views all around. 10/10 recommend.

    Mathieu2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Bret & Marie were amazing hosts and we totally enjoyed our stay at a great location. We had a nice view over San Francisco and it was close to the city with an Uber. And we enjoyed to sit in the back yard and calm down after a long day of traveling. I just can highly recommend this place.

    Philip2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable place. Close to Bart and other transport options. Friendly hosts.

    Geoff2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • It was so comfortable and nice environment than I thought! It's just outside of San Francisco, but Bart is just around the corner, and it's not bad to go to Uber. The carrier doesn't have much space, so even if you open two After checking out, I also put my luggage in the garage so I could travel more comfortably.

    Yukyung2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Small but cute place. Beautiful view in the backyard especially at sunset.

    Sam2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here so much that we weren’t ready to leave. It’s a perfect location. We were within walking distance to a lot of convenient stores and fast food restaurants. The view is amazing. Bret & Marie’s house is on the very top of the hill so be prepared to walk up the steep hills, but the view that overlooks the whole city is totally worth it. And I loved how they put a lot of thought in adding amenities that I didn’t realize I actually “needed” until I found them... like their heated blanket, a netflix AND hulu account & a fan to block out noise (I’m a light sleeper so this was much appreciated.) And Bret got back to me very quickly whenever I needed him. Most definitely will be back here one day!

    Trina2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • Carrie was a great host, easy to reach and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. The apartment is in a great location in North Beach. It is close to the piers and a short walk to Chinatown. Downtown SF and Japantown are fairly close by car or public transport too.

  • We had high expectations for a beautiful view in a charming part of San Francisco, and yet they were exceeded by such a great place to stay in an amazing city. So much fun and such a great apartment.

    David2018-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Carrie is an amazing host and her place is sublime. Expectations were frankly high going in and they were exceeded on many counts. Will definitely recommend this place to other travelers and hope that we have the opportunity to lodge here again. Bravo, Carrie!

  • Amazing space in the heart of it all! We loved the location and felt very safe. We could easily walk anywhere we wanted to see and although there is no designated parking, we managed to find spots throughout our stay with a little work. It was so much fun, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Loved it!

This is a nice room in a four bedroom house in the Mission District. It has a very comfy queen sized bed, plus an extra bed/chair can be pull out for extra guest. There is a swing, huge windows that face the street, fast internet connection, Smart TV and access to a drum set that you can use during your stay. You also would have access to our unit downstairs with an extra kitchen and bathroom/shower and the chance to meet fellow travelers.
The house sits right next to the oldest standing house in San Francisco, our house is about the same age, with its quirks and weird architectural design. It might not be fancy but has a lot of character and charm. There is a toilet/sink room and a separate shower room with an extra sink, a large kitchen and laundry area in the back.
~~PARKING INFORMATION~~ There is no private parking in this building, only street parking. San Francisco has one of highest real estate prices in the country (or world) which makes private parkings a luxury that not too many residents enjoy. If you are bringing a car into the city (not recommended unless you are doing road trips outside) please plan ahead and be aware that traffic, driving directions and parking in the city might be a hassle, especially if you are not familiar with local traffic and parking rules. Your car might be parked free in most streets around the house but pay attention to the posted parking restrictions, time limits, cleaning days, red or yellow zones, blocking driveways etc. This rules are enforced and fines are very expensive. The closest private garage is by SF General Hospital (about 2 blocks away) On 24th st between Utah and San Bruno fares are about $15/night.

Imagine falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. This clean, quiet garden apartment is perfect for the nature loving city dweller. Steps from the beach, Golden Gate Park, the Zoo and more. Ample street parking and MUNI train 2 blocks away.
Private in-law apartment offering 2 beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable rooms. The bedroom includes a queen bed with crisp linens a down comforter, warm wool rug, beautiful art and closet and dresser for your belongings. The second room is a living space with a couch that converts to a full bed, a separate comfortable reading chair and lamp. The 42" flat screen is equipped with Apple TV and high speed wireless internet. The kitchenette is fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes. A microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, 5 cup coffee maker, electric induction counter top range and small fridge complete the kitchen and make it operational for light cooking. Complimentary coffee, tea and a bottle of wine offered to all guests. The private bathroom is small but bright and clean with shower over tub, complementary shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. The private garden has a bistro table making it a perfect spot for morning coffee while listening to the waves and surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Ample, free street parking available in the neighborhood.
The "outerlands" as this area of the city used to be called is where nature meets urban, widely and wonderfully. Families, surfers, artists, hipsters, techies and eccentrics come together to create a multicultural neighborhood that is dominated by the ocean and the sky! Really I think the Sunset District is San Francisco's best kept secret. It is clean and safe and quiet at night. You are about a half hour from the hustle and bustle of downtown (by car or public transport). Out here the streets are wider, the backyards bigger, and free parking is easy to find. People who like the outdoors love the location, especially for surfing, jogging, cycling, and hiking. Typically the Sunset can be foggy in June and July, but is clear and beautiful most of the rest of the year. Fall is stellar. Yearly temperatures hover in the 60-65 degrees. Golden Gate Park is only 4 blocks north and is filled with absolutely everything you can imagine: free concerts, archery ranges, entertainment pools, beautiful gardens, a bison paddock, polo field, duck ponds, and everything that you could possibly imagine! Including, The Academy of Science Museum, De Young art museum, and Japanese Tea Garden, The Arboretum and Conservatory of Flowers, plus great hiking, running and biking trails. We're also a popular destination for marathon participants and concert-goers, with events nearby like Bay to Breakers, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, and Outside Lands. There is a beautiful 5 mile walking path directly across from my home. It spans from Sloat Blvd. to the Cliff House/Sutro Baths. Popular restaurants include: Thanh Long, Outerlands, Cliff House, Beach Chalet & Brewery, Celia's Mexican Restaurant, Sunset Reservoir Brewery Company, Devils Teeth Bakery, Andy Town Coffee shop, Java Beach Café and many more. Great choice of shops selling locally made surfboards, jewelry and art... The Last Straw, San Franpsyco apparel, Establish and The General Store just to name a few.
  • Everything about my stay exceeded my expectations! The location is perfect—not even in a one minute walk to the best part of Ocean Beach. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. The check-in process was so seamless. Heather was responsive and hospitable. The space was clean and thoughtfully arranged . If you are looking for a quick staycation within SF city limits or trying to get a less touristy feel of the city, Heather’s property is the perfect location for it.

    Steph2020-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • You will NOT be disappointed by staying here! Heather truly went ABOVE and BEYOND. Our trip was medically necessary for an upcoming surgery and happened during the COVID-19. While flying across country our landing was disrupted due to the earthquake in Utah and we were rerouted which prolonged the journey dramatically. Heather made sure that we had a hot meal, fresh fruit, yogurt, drinks and more waiting for our late night arrival. The place itself is absolutely stunning! The sweet aroma of flowers in the back garden was lovely. The bed was so comfortable that we are looking to get the same mattress. The location is PERFECT! It's located right beside the crosswalk to get to the beach. This was our first Airbnb stay and feel sure it's going to make it impossible for anything else to compare. She truly set the standards high!

    Mariola2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Heather’s in-law apartment is nothing less than beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and spotless. The beach is literally steps away, and it is conveniently located in the middle of everything you could ever ask of SF! We had such a restful stay and Heather was warm, welcoming and generous.

    Linden2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Heather was a lovely host, greeting us when we arrived and giving us a quick tour of the place and any advice we needed. The rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The wine was a great touch too! Really close to the beach and a short drive into the main part of San Fran. Thanks for the hospitality!

We are close enough to the buzz and activity, but far enough a way that you can get a good night's sleep. You're a 1-mile (2 km) walk to the corner of Golden Gate Park, where we highly recommend the Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake, and the earthquake simulator at the Cal Academy of Sciences. Grocery stores such as Mollie Stones, Trader Joe's, Safeway and Whole Foods are all close by. We are a great place to stay if you plan to visit San Francisco for the San Francisco LGBT Pride, the Folsom Street Fair, the SF Frameline LGBT Film Festival, the San Francisco Jazz Festival, the Haight Ashbury Street Fair, Oysterfest San Francisco, the San Francisco Marathon, Outerlands, and many more incredible local events.
  • Jason and Ryan's space is incredible - the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and outdoor patio were all thoughtfully put together. Everything is well organized, there's plenty of extra linens, the views are over the top and this AirBnB has everything you need. Jason and Ryan are easily the best hosts I've ever had the chance to stay with. I had such a great time getting to know them. Highly recommend this space to anyone staying in San Francisco. The location is also ideal.

  • We had an amazing time staying at this home in San Francisco. Jason had great recommendations for us. Their home is beautiful with great views and a really great location too! Nice touch to offer wine and nibbles on arrival. We will definitely book again when we return to SF.

    Laura2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to stay in San Francisco. The apartment is in a great location on a hill with an amazing view over downtown San Francisco and surrounding area. The apartment is modern and clean, the bedroom comfortable and private. Jason is very detailed in his communication and was very responsive to any questions we had. He welcomed us with a glass of wine and offered suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. Street parking was easy to find. There are steep steps to climb, which would be the only caveat for people with difficulty walking or climbing. Otherwise, great place to stay!

    Ute2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • It was great staying with Jason and Ryan. The view from their home is truly spectacular, and I was welcomed wine, an appetizer and entertaining conversation. I would definitely go back.

    Martin2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great location, and fantastic hosts!! You won't be disappointed!

    Kumar2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful space! The views are breathtaking and the host is attentive, accommodating and goes above and beyond to help. I had messed up my reservation and he helped me find another one. If I had to give one nit it would be to warn people if they have large suitcases or heavy bags that the climb up to the unit is very tough. You’ll need to take breaks lol. Other than that, it’s a fantastic space in a great area.

Whip up a tasty brunch at the tidy, fitted kitchen in this modern studio. Expansive windows grace the stylish, neatly arranged layout with plentiful light. Please note that we cannot rent our studio for less than 30 days due rental restrictions in San Francisco. Our parking space fits compact car only. Studio available as of April 3rd. Self check in with video chat tour.
We can provide a twin -size blow-up bed upon request, in the event 3 guests want to sleep on separate beds.
The building is located in the town center near the SF Civic Center, varied nightlife options, and tourist attractions. It’s just a few blocks from classical lures including the San Francisco Opera and ballet.
  • I LOVED staying at Carlos and Graciela's place for a little over a month while I was in the process of relocating to the area. The place was spotless, well-appointed, and had great natural light. Carlos and Graciela were responsive, professional, and courteous. The place had everything needed for a long-term stay - including a washer and dryer, toiletries, and supplies. Underground garage parking was a HUGE plus and safe (but note, only compact cars fit in the spot). The location was incredible - close to Civic Center, walkable, with lots of bustling city life outside - but quiet inside the building, along with friendly neighbors. The adjoining building has a rooftop with amazing views. Absolutely recommend staying here while you're in San Francisco!

  • The studio was clean, well-organized and fully equipped with everything you would need. Great central location - multiple Muni lines close by, convenience store right around the corner, and walking distance to Hayes Valley. Graciela was a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating with check in/check out. Great stay!

  • I had a wonderful stay. The room was modern and had pretty much everything I needed to settle in. Very safe--you need a key fob to go up the elevator. There was a Peet's coffee and a CVS just across Van Ness, which were both really convenient. I really appreciate Graciela's hospitality!

    Chris2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • A great cozy apartment-modest and modern and just as described in the photos. Land lady is good and responsive. Me and my husband had a lovely stay and will definitely be back in our next visit.

    Evangeline2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Graciela's studio was clean, new, and very comfortable. I lived here with my partner for four weeks between our move from Denver to the Bay Area. It was a lovely place to call home for a few weeks. Graciela was very accommodating with my check in given that I arrived from Denver with four suitcases before my check in time. While we were there, SF experienced some seriously hot days and she graciously purchased a fan for us during that period. The studio is in the Tenderloin which has a reputation for a reason but I felt safe during the day but rarely ventured off at night when I imagine things get a little seedier (Graciela equipped the tv with Netflix so why would I leave...). Thanks for a great stay, Graciela!

    Jenna2017-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • I loved the location of this apartment and the quiet of it. I stayed here for over a month and was very happy. Graciela greeted me the first day and explained everything and later attended quickly to the toilet which was running all night about two weeks in to my stay. She was responsive and helpful. I totally recommend this place.

The Ashbury Garden Studio is an oasis of calm located in the middle of the very dynamic and exciting Haight Ashbury neighborhood. Located next to the famous Grateful Dead home, the studio is just a block and a half from the intersection of Haight and Ashbury Streets. This is a garden apartment beneath a historic Victorian home, built from a Sears and Roebuck kit in 1896. The apartment has been completely remodeled but still retains a great deal of charm. Very close to public transportation.
  • This was our second extended stay at Jan’s apartment, so we obviously loved it enough to come back! Very comfortable and clean. We even said how happy we were to be “sheltering in place” in this apartment because it is so homey, and we had everything we needed. Thanks again to Jan and Linda, we highly recommend the apartment for both short and long term stays.

    Stephanie2020-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 3 months while in SF for work. We absolutely loved it- in fact, we have already booked another couple months in 2020! Location cannot be beat, it’s a lovely classic SF neighborhood, very central within the city and close to shops and amenities. The apartment itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Lots of natural light with the large windows open, and the fireplace made it extra cozy. There is also a small desk, which I don’t think was pictured and was a pleasant surprise. If anything, the internet was a little spotty, but we made do. FYI the owner lives upstairs and was very friendly, but communication regarding the property goes through Jan, the rental manager. Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

    Stephanie2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great unit! I spent my summer here while working at a law firm downtown. The location is very safe, and the owners live right upstairs and are delightful. I would definitely come back!
