We loved our stay at Doras beautiful appartement! It was clean, spacious and perfectly prepared for our visit. I was in contact with Dora before we came to Procida, and she was a wonderful host even before we actually arrived. Had so many advices, helped planning and shared her knowledge of the island in a very very special and caring way. She answered all of our questions in a lovely way, like we knew each other for years. But most of all, Dora's Mom was a amazingly caring and helpful, a wonderful person! We felt like home from the first minute. Go to Procida, but most of all, come to Dora's place! This is a 10 of 10, absolutely!

BEST HOST EVER ! Dora and her mother Theresa welcomed us very well, with cakes and pastas. The apartment was very clean with everything you need (towels, shower gel & shampoo...). It is located at the center if the island allowing easy access to every beach of the island. In addition Dora was a real guide to us explaining everything we should do or see, even gave us coupons ! Dora was also available and very fast to answer any questions we had. We had a really nice stay and would absolutely stay there again. Grazie mille Dora & Theresa

Dora's mom met us at the door and gave us a home baked pie. How charming is that? Communication was surprisingly easy even though she only speaks Italian. However she did bring in a neighbor who does speak English just to make sure we understood everything. The location is good, in the center of the island, away from the noisy and touristy port and walking distance to great places to eat, swim and relax. The studio is small but cozy and has only one window. It is well equipped and has good wifi.

Dora place is practical, clean a standard room. Shower is good. Bed is standard. No tea available. No windows!! The host (mother of Dora) is a nice woman but doesn't speak English. Beaches are closeby (15 min) walk.

Siamo stati accolti benissimo! la madre di Dora ci ha offerto un cesto di limoni dell'isola ed è stata attenta ad ogni nostra necessità. La casa è accogliente, ben arredata e rispecchia perfettamente la descrizione presente sul sito. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la presenza dei numerosi ricordi di viaggio ed i libri presenti nella stanza, ci siamo sentiti veramente come a casa! La posizione è strategica poiché trovandosi nel cuore dell'isola ci ha permesso di visitare facilmente diverse spiagge ed altri punti di interesse. Ottimi i consigli presenti nella descrizione di Dora! Ciliegina sulla torta: il mio ragazzo aveva dimenticato una maglietta ed il padre di Dora ci ha rincorso con lo scooter per restituircela, mitico!!

Meraviglioso piccolo monolocale, molto personalizzato, ho apprezzato i libri e i ricordi viaggio che mi hanno dato la sensazione di essere ospite di un'amica. Posizione molto ben collegata, con fermata dell'autobus a pochissimi passi. La cordialità e la gentilezza della mamma di Dora rispecchiano a pieno lo spirito dell'isola. Sono stata accolta da un piatto di ciliegie dolcissime e salutata da una bottiglia di crema al limoncello, che mi ha fatto portare a caaa gli odori di Procida. Spero davvero di tornaci quanto prima.

Dora e sua madre Teresa ci hanno accolto nella loro casa ancor prima di arrivare fornendoci le indicazioni necessarie per raggiungere e muoversi sull'isola, per godere delle bellezze di Procida, dalle spiagge, alle passeggiate fino ai bar e ristoranti, informazioni che sono state preziosissime per noi che non ci eravamo mai state. La casa è ancor più carina di come la descrivono, pulita e con tutto il necessario... la signora Teresa ci ha preparato persino un dolce fatto in casa per la colazione. L'ubicazione è centralissima, la spiaggia di Chiaiolella è a 5 minuti e la fermata dell'autobus a pochi metri, ma noi abbiamo sempre preferito passeggiare per le strade dell'isola, che è in pianura e non trafficata. E come se non bastasse alla partenza abbiamo ricevuto in regalo dei limoni di giardino. Quando torneremo a Procida, che ci ha incantato e fatto innamorare per la sua bellezza e tranquillità, vorremo essere di nuovo ospiti di Dora e Teresa.

Anna's brother and mother picked me up from the port where the ferry docks. They gave me a tour of the island, pointed out some great spots for me to later explore, and helped me get set up in the apartment. Later, Anna came by to make sure everything was OK, and also set me up at a friend's restaurant that night, lunch the next day, and a tour of the old prison. Their hospitality, alone, deserves 10 stars. Such a warm and welcoming family. The apartment was great, too. But the family is what made this stay just phenomenal. Will definitely try to stay here again if I come back to this beautiful island.

We"ve stayed at several AirBnB's but Anna and her mother are by far the best hosts. From our first communication, Anna was always available via text for any questions and information. Her mother, Giovanna, met us at the port and gave us a wonderful tour of the island upon our arrival. We found local pastries awaiting us at the aprartment, which is spacious and comfortable. It's location, set back off the busy main street in a wooded garden area is just perfect for a quiet stay on Prcocida. During our days at the Green Apartment Anna and her mother gifted us with lemons, tomatoes, fresh eggs and a homemade torte! Anna checked in with us often to be sure everything was fine or if we heeded anything. Giovanna generously drove us back to the port on our last morning. This was all definitely service beyond ehat anyone could expect. They made us feel so welcome we can't wait to return.

Anna and her family are brilliant hosts. They texted beforehand, met us from the boat, and drove us back home. During the stay they provided us with lovely fresh fruit and veg, and even turkey's eggs! They were a lovely family, living below the flat so it was easy to contact them if we needed to know anything, but we had plenty of space and a balcony to ourselves. The flat is about 15 minute walk from the port so be prepared to walk lots down tiny busy streets across this island. The location was fairly cetral to the island which made it easy to explore the different beeches and fishing harbours. We'd certainly recommend Green Island to others.

We had the most amazing stay at anna's appartment! The sun, the beaches, anna and her family, the peacefulness.. we believe to have experienced the true italian hospitality and la dolce vita. We enjoyed every minute of it and hope to come back soon!

Wow, what an amazing stay at Anna's apartment! I had the most wonderful and relaxing time on Procida, and I would highly recommend staying with her! Without being asked, she and her mom picked me up from the ferry station with my luggage, otherwise it's about a 15 min walk to their home/orchard. The spacious compound is at the end of a narrow dirt road lined with lemon trees and is very quiet and peaceful. Anna was always reachable by text in case I needed something, though the apartment is fully stocked! I had everything I needed to prepare real dinners in the kitchen, including a full fridge and stove, so take advantage of all the fresh produce on the island! There's a big bed, two bunk beds, and a couch, so a family of 4 would fit just fine too. As a single female traveler, safety is incredibly important to me, and I felt at ease walking everywhere on the island. That being said, Anna actually was able to let me check in a day early because my Airbnb apartment in Naples/Napoli was in a bad part of town where I didn't feel safer...what a relief! Next time, I'm skipping Naples entirely or staying in Salerno to visit Pompeii ruins. I was genuinely sad to leave Anna's place to travel on to Rome since I felt very much at home there. I highly recommend!

In Anna`s appartment were everything we needed to cook, as well as coffee, tea, cakes, very delicious home-made dessert... Anna and her mother showed as a wonderfull garden. We had a wonderful time at Green Island. It is a haven of peace in the middle of the lemon trees. Life is simple and authentic on Procida. Anna and her family are really nice, welcoming and generous people. We would defenitely go back!

L'appartamento si trova proprio nel cuore della Corricella, tra le casette colorate del borgo dei pescatori ed è raggiungibile dal porto in 10 minuti a piedi. La casa è piccolina, ma ha tutto quello che serve per un breve soggiorno grazie alla cura e alle attenzioni verso gli ospiti dei proprietari di casa. La vista sul mare è impagabile e non essendoci le macchine gli unici rumori che si sentono sono i gabbiani, il mare e le voci dei pescatori e degli abitanti. Sembra di essere fuori dal tempo! Small house with a beautiful terrace + impressive vegetable garden with a bunch of cats, ideally located the center of Procida, next to a bus stop and of walking distance to the beach. The terrace and garden are great to sit in the sun, read an relax. Inside the house there is some noise from the street (scooters and cars going by), but you don't notice much of it in the garden. Leonardo and his family did everything to make us feel at home: we even got vegetables, lemons and home-made wine.

It was a truly nice and comfortable stay at Leonardo's apartment which is very clean. We were welcomed very warmly and have also received some of the great products from the garden of his mother! The flat is also located very close to the beautiful sea. Staying with them during our stay in Procida was an experience I would absolutely recommend!

Leonardo was very helpful in our arriving in Procida. We had a problem with the boat and he didn't hesitate to wait late at night to come to pick us up at the harbour. The apartment is great, spacious and convenient with an access to the wonderful garden of Leonardo's father, with the nice scent of lemon trees. Great place for holidays. Leonardo and his family are very nice people. Their hospitality is incredible -they gave us vegetable, fresh oranges and lemons, home made wine, tickets for the bus. The garden is beautiful even in January. On Saturday evening Leonardo' s father and mother baked their own bread and pizza, in the oven outside, in the garden. It was lovely. It' s a pity that we can' t speak Italian!

Great place to stay . Our host was very helpful, bring us back and forth from the port , helping us to know better the island . The place we stay was lovely , going around the garden ( real garden ) , nice perfume from the flowers on the evening , nice outdoor, feeling like home . We loved our stay in Margherita's house. The apartment was spacious, and we really appreciated the groceries ready when we arrived. There was cereal, jam, butter, fruit and dried goods such as pasta. Coffee and sugar all there too. Although there wasn't any air conditioning, the fans did a good job of cooling the bedrooms down but of course we were there in August. From the apartment, you could walk to most places within about 30-40 minutes. We used a lovely beach that had rocks out in the sea to keep it calm with a snack bar and sun beds/parasols. A lovely bakery about 5 minutes walk provided us with fresh bread etc, and in the Main Street a variety of small shops/supermarkets. Marco was easily contactable and always answered any questions promptly although we didn't really meet him. We ate at La Pergola (in the lemon groves- 5 minute walk) and in the harbour of Coricella (at La Gorgonia which was superb). Thank you for a lovely stay on Procida.

Marco welcomed me to his humble home, in the heart of Procida, at his doorstep. I arrived there by taxi after a long day and was delighted to find such a beautiful, lovely and clean flat waiting for me, and even more so when I saw the kitchen shelves full of grocery items! The flat is a dream! All rooms are not only functional but also enjoyable. I spent every afternoon sitting at the balcony and observing the sunset. The kitchen is fully equipped so I made my own meals and ate them at the balcony too! :) AND I was finally able to do my laundry! I know this might not be important to some, but it was to me, as I was travelling around for a week already and desperately needed to wash my clothes. I got to know Marco's brother and lovely Mother who lives downstairs. She is such a kind, welcoming and cheerful lady and even offered me to borrow her beach-umbrella if I wanted to, which I did, and that made my visits to the beach longer. Thanks again Marco and family for make my stay in Procida unforgettable and I hope to return.

Excellent apartment with terrrace overlooking Ischia, lovely sunsets. The kitchen was very well stocked with breakfast items, pasta and other food which was lovely. It is easy to walk from the apartment to different beaches on the island and a bit further to walk to restaurants/cafes. The streets are narrow with no sidewalks on Procida but we found walking fine, otherwise there is a bus stop close to the house.

Marco's (Margherita's) house is a beautiful location on a beautiful island, as well as described by himself and his happy guests - we can highly recommend. Marco's Mama Marina gave us a warm welcome and a short overview about the island. The fridge was filled with some fruits, drinks, yoghurt and eggs. The Kitchen was fully equiped. From coffee, tea and spices up to loundry detergent we don't miss anything. The busstop is just arround the corner and all interesting spots are reachable by walk. We enjoyed our (to short) stay there a lot and would check in again every time.

Anna and her family was beyond amazing. What can be better to be greeted with the glass of amazing white wine and smiling faces of the hosts? We felt like a part of a small family. Have you ever watched those movies with typical welcoming, hospitable and loud Italian families? That was our unforgettable experience. The location can't be better, as soon as you take off the ferry, it's in 2 minute walking distance. The Procida Residence has an amazing balcony overlooking a church and every now and then you can hear the bells ringing (uplifting), and also check sunsets and sunrises. I highly recommend everyone to stay with Anna and her family and Procida Residence, you won't regret.

I would highly recommend this flat. Anna was an extremely gracious host and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Thank you Chiara for the relaxing holiday in beautiful Procida island! The apartment was everything that the description promises, we were very happy to stay almost two weeks in there with our two children. The apartment's location was perfect for us, short walk to the beach and reasonable walking distance to all the marinas where most of the restaurants are. Peaceful and beautiful island! In Marina Corricella our favourite restaurant was simple family restaurant Graziella, friendly staff and good food. The next door restaurant pizzeria Fuego tried to overcharge with made-up extra drinks, so be careful with them if you decide to eat there. But the overall impression of the island, the apartment and everything is only positive - We can recommend Procida and Chiara's apartment to anyone who wants peaceful holiday away from turists in a beautiful Italian island!

Chiara was a very welcoming host. She even sent an email in advance how to get to her place. She provided us with all the information we needed about the flat and all surroundings. The flat is perfect for a stay on Procida. You have a view from the upper terrace and the lunch table to the island of Ischia. Location: Around the corner is small butcher and a supermarket which even offers fresh bufallo cheese and Italian sausage. You can easily walk to the beautiful black sand beaches. If you need to go to the port, it is better to hire a taxi, take a bike or vespa. Everything was perfect! Mille grazie, Chiara!

I stayed at Chiara's apartment in Procida for one night and was very comfortable. She is a lovely host, making me feel welcome and helping me orient myself to the town. The location is close to a wonderful beach and has a great veiw from the terrace! I was alone, but there was plenty of space for more friends or family.

I book the house only one day ahead, but Chiara was quick and in a moment the procedures were finished using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and messages. Chiara was not there, but her sister, friendly Teresa, lives downstairs and she met me at the house, that was exactly as the photos. Very well equipped, even in the kitchen and bathroom, and extremely clean. Mine was a 7 night stay and it was a pleasure to walk barefoot upon the terracotta tiles everyday. Spectacular views from the terrace, reading a book under the campanile and watching Ischia was a must. And a magic moment the availability to see the moon eclipse from there. Big Tv and good wifi. Lots of maps and tourist brochures to use. The house is roughly at the middle of the island. I walk to every place, the port, Corricella, Chiaiolella beach, but for some people can be a good distance. Almost all the bus lines have a stop at the door, but you need to learn how to navigate this system and the schedules. A rented electrical bike is a good idea. A supermarket and another shops are very close. I sleep very well, but this is a very neapolitan experience, don´t expect silence during the day. This is a moped territory. Overall, a delightful experience, both the house and the island. I was searching for a quiet place, with beach, very italian....and it was a success. With other more famous places around, Procida is a good bet because is not overrun with tourists, and keeps the italian spirit and pace intact. Chiara was always at hand and also was Teresa, who helped me wth dudes about the surroundings several times. I deeply recommend this house, specially for a couple with kids. But I was alone, and it was perfect.

Beautiful home, beautiful view--especially from the private terrace. Very friendly hosts. The location is pretty central, about equidistant from the main port and the main beach. Arriving there was quite confusing by bus because stops are not marked, so ask someone on the bus so that you don't miss it!

The house is cute, clean and has wonderful views, we really enjoyed our stay here. The host's sister lives downstairs and helped us recover our lost luggage from the airlines! They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The bus stops just in front of the house and there is a small supermarket and restaurant just on the corner. This is a very residential part of the island where you will get a true feel of life in Procida. It's easy to get anywhere from here, I recommend it.

very Nice place in Procida ! frendly réception! a little bit noisy with the scooters in the street and the church but the bedroom is very confortable so we sleep well (that is s the soul of Procida!!) Procida island is a pleasant place to stay, near the flat there is one of the most beautiful beach in procida (five minutes walking) and from the flat you can easely go everywhere in the island!

Chiara was very nice, she sent a lot of infos how to get to the house and although she was not there in person when we arrived, she had perfectly organized everything for us. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding in the booking, but we were able to solve it together. The place is amazing: a lot of light and the most beautiful view over the island to the sea. Perfectly located in the midle of the island and realy coasy! The kitschen is well equipped and the house perfectly clean. 100 % recommended! For people with problems of sleeping: Bring your earplugs, as the house is located on one of the main streets af the island and the motorcycles are a bit loud.

We had a very nice time at Alfonsina's place. The house was very clean and convenient. Plus, it was only a few minutes walk to the nicest beach of Procida. Grazie mille Alfonsina, abbiamo passato un momento molto agreabile!

Essere ospiti di Alfonsina è stato magnifico!! Ci siamo sentiti a casa fin da subito! La casa è situata in una posizione perfetta per andare al mare o per raggiungere facilmente il porto della Marina Grande ed allo stesso tempo è molto tranquilla e silenziosa, oltre ad essere dotata di tutto. L'appartamento sembra essere stato ristrutturato da poco, ma conserva l'atmosfera piacevole, accogliente e luminosa di una casa vacanze. Alfonsina e suo marito sono stati molto ospitali, disponibili e premurosi nell'accoglierci, ma allo stesso tempo discreti. Io e la mia famiglia contiamo di ritornare presto a Procida augurandoci di poter essere ospitati nuovamente da Alfonsina nella sua incantevole casa.

Siamo stati ospiti della Signora Alfonsina per il week-end di Pasqua e la sua gentilezza e la sua disponibilità sono state lodevoli! La posizione della casa corrisponde alla descrizione, agevole anche per chi volesse spostarsi dalla zona dov'è ubicata, in quanto vicinissima alla fermata dell'autobus. La casa dispone di un ampio spazio esterno per poter prendere il sole e poter mangiare all'aria aperta. All'interno completa di tutto, sia per quanto riguarda il bagno che la cucina. Ci ritorneremo molto volentieri per poter godere di giorni di sole e di mare!!!

We spent 2 nights in Tori and Cesare's apartment. Procida is a wonderful island and the flat is located on the most beautiful spot with a wonderful view on the bay. The apartment is well furnished and really convenient. Cesare kindly offered to drive us to the ferry by boat. We really recommend this flat to the people who want to stay on Procida

The host sent us welcome messages well ahead of our arrival. Cesare also picked us up at arrival and drove us as close as possible to apartment. The apartment was above expectations. It was was very spacious for 2 people and held all we needed. The location is great for scenery and a few stairs down to the old harbour with good restaurants (and without a road). Also the Island is so small that all places be reached by walking (in fact we walked to the far side and back one of the days). Visitors should be aware of the folloving: - There are quite a few stairs to walk in order to get to apartment. - The free Internet connection do vary in bandwith (I dont know if this is a general problem in this area) - The location is at the most scenery part of the island. Howevere this means that its a bit fra to walk to/from arrival port to apartment if yo need to carry luggage.

Very organised check in and booking procedure. Cesare was super helpful and friendly, he picked us up with the car and even gave us a lift back tot he port with his boat. He was very available and super helpful. We got to use the terrace part of his house as well as that of the flat which was brilliant. The apartment was in a great location. The flat was a bit dusty but I'm sure this could be sorted out with a good cleaning.

We had a fantastic time in Procida. Tori and Cesare made everything really easy. Tori was in Norway at the time but Cesare met us from the ferry to take us to the apartment. He was very welcoming and friendly- the perfect airbnb host. The apartment is beautiful and furnished to a high specification. The terrace is quite small but has a stunning view and gets lots of sunshine. The bedroom mezzanine is very pretty, with a comfortable double bed. The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you would need if self-catering and the bathroom is great. The apartment is in the prettiest area of the island and close to some very nice restaurants (especially Caracale). We felt very at home. The apartment is perfect for couples but, as is clearly shown in the photos, the staircase had no handrail so may not be suitable for everybody. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Procida and if we do, I would love to stay in Tori and Cesare's apartment again. Thank you to both of you for making the holiday so special.

Tori's apartment is located in one of the most beautiful areas I've ever seen. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and it's only about a 10 minute walk from the port. An added bonus is that some of Procida's best restaurants are only a few meters from the apartment. The apartment is clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our three day stay. I recommend the apartment without hesitation!

As it is said in all comments, indeed the Tori and Cesare appartment is situated in the most beautiful spot of Procida, Marina Coricella but in addition from the terace you have the best view on Coricella. To reach the flat you can't avoid to climb a bunch of stairs, but the good news is when you come back from shopping you just have to go down. The appartment is renovated, charming, convenient, simple and clean. Little details are missing for the day to day life when you stay there a bit long (6 nights for us), but I'm sure Tori will impove this. The terace is the greatest place from the flat. A very important piece of it. We were not so fortunate as some others as it was kind of a messy place, not at all arranged and cleaned. The parasol was broken, a pity because no way to lunch there with the heavy sun. But we could enjoy the amaizing view from there every mornings, evenings... No matter the mess around !! One very disturbing thing was the very strong light outside that illuminate the stairs at night. So strong that the flat was illumminated like it was daytime. No way to sleep with this as there was no curtains at the windows, thus I assume this was a new situation that Tori did'nt know. We had to use pillows, towels and covers in order to blind the windows. I warned Tori who gave me the idea to use pillows the second night. She said she would come back to me with a solution the day after, but this never happened. We never met Tori but she was responding well so far. But we have met Cesare who is a lovely man from the Island. Tori connected us the day of our arrival so he drove us with his beautiful boat to the appartment. Another day he arrived proudly with a big freshly fished tuna. Another one he gave us a bag of lemons : a must in Procida! Cesare loves his island and shares it. We have asked him to make a tour of Procida on his boat (it's his job, or one of his jobs) and he even proposed to drive us to Ischia which was our next destination. To sum up Coricella is one of the most beautiful place of Procida, the flat is situated at the best spot there : 2 most important reasons to stay at Tori and Cesare's flat. in addition, Cesare is kindly present, although dicret (he lives next door). To make the stay perfect and that it would worth the price, the flat (including the terace) needs some improvements. Tori was answering quickly from the moment we reserved. Although she was absent during our stay she was reachable, but has not responding so efficiently to the light heavy problem...

We spent 2 night in Tori and Cesare's house and we really enjoyed it: great view on the port, nice appartment, and warm welcome (thanks for the glasses of wine!). The place is at 20 minutes walk from the main port where ferries from Naples arrive, and this small port is very relaxing, with great restaurants on the port.

A lovely little apartment, although it is a bit damp. The views over the marina are stunning. It's slightly difficult to find, and up lots of steps, but Tori arranged for someone to meet us to show us in.

Magical island, great little apartment with a good location and a fantastic view, very nice hosts, I highly recommend Luigi's place. Grazie mille !

Ringrazio Luigi per tutto: la flessibilità per il check in, la disponibilità e la prontezza nel rispondere ai messaggi, l'accoglienza che ci ha riservato. La casa è confortevole e al mattino c'è un bellissimo panorama dal balcone, comoda da raggiungere e per arrivare ovunque dato che c'è la fermata del pullman nelle immediate vicinanze. La consiglio a pieni voti !

Siamo stati molto bene, in questo appartamento con una splendida vista su L isoloto di Vivara e Ischia. Luigi è stato molto disponibile e quando c è stato un piccolo problema con la pressione del acqua è intervenuto subito e ha risolto il problema malgrado il periodo pasquale. I miei bambini hanno apprezzato molto anche loro. Appartamento molto carino con tutte le comodita per una vacanza a questa sempre bella Procida.
