This 170 s.m., masonry wall, double-storey house was originaly constructed at 1859 and is a typical example of early neoclassical architecture, infused with local traditional elements such as the pebbled yard and the traditional terrace. According to a new ministerial decision, the residents of the house are obliged to pay a "Climate Crisis Resilience Fee" of 10 Euros per day. The total cost will be collected by the owner who will pay it to the tax office.

It is 24 km from the port of Chios and 16 km from the port of Mesta. The visitor has short access to the Mastic Museum (5 km ), Mavra Volia(4 km) one of the rarest beaches in Greece. Also the visitor is located at a short distance from the medieval Mastic villages such as Pyrgi, Mesta,Olympus.
