Michael and his family and his family are wonderful hosts and they supplied everything I needed, including useful information about the area. My room was perfect. Spacious, comfortable and quiet, overlooking to a beautiful hill. I really enjoyed staying at this place.

We had a lovely stay here. The place was clean and comfortable. The house is in a really lovely neighborhood where we enjoyed evening strolls after dinner. Michael and Anke and the children were very friendly and welcoming and kind and helpful. We would go back there again in our next trip to Baden-Baden.

We had a lovely four night stay with Michael and Anke in their home. They were so welcoming and great to share evening conversation with. Their two girls are very sweet and so fun. We were very pleased with the room itself. It was a nice large size with plenty of space to relax during a couple of rainy afternoons, when we couldn't be out exploring. Other reviewers were right to say we shouldn't worry about the sofa bed - it was so comfortable! It was also very nice because it was longer than traditional beds so being tall wasn't an inconvenience. We'd happily recommend Michael and Anke's home to any other guests looking for a comfortable and beautiful place to stay.

The room with private bath was great. The bathroom the room was very clean and comfortable, very modern. The direct access to the garden was great especially for our dog who could run around in the morning there. Family Kusche was very helpful, courteous and straightforward. We can only recommend this hotel!

The room is great, is very large and the bathroom is new as seen in the photos. We were greeted with a smile and even though we were only one night, we had a super comfortable, Michael and his wife are super friendly and you can tell they like to get people into your home. This siege about 10km from baden-baden but drive is super close. We recommend it.

We spent only one night in Michael's house but it was a very nice stay. Both he and his wife were very friendly and give us good advices about where to eat nearby. The room and the bathroom are great, big and superclean, with views to the wineyards! There is as well a great terrace. Although they are a 4-member family we have a lot of privacity during our stay as the house is very big. The only inconvenience is that the house is a bit far from Baden-baden, on a quiet area with few thinks surrounding... but you can reach Baden-baden and its great thermes in 20 minutes by car... Thanks for the chocolates and the apple juice!!!

A wonderful family and a fantastic place to stay! The Kusche's were very welcoming and it was fun spending time with Michael, his wife and kids. The room and private bathroom is just perfect. We stayed only one night on our way to France, but would have loved to stay longer!

Fantastic host, great apartment

Kerstin was great at communicating as soon as we booked; she gave us very detailed instructions on travel to the apartment and her mother greeted us and showed us around. The apparent is beautiful, very clean and well kept. The bathroom in particular was a joy, with fresh towels, a hair dryer and some lovely shower products. Kerstin puts a lot of thought into how welcoming the apartment is, she had laid out bottles of water, apples and some Haribo sweets, a lovely surprise! Although the kitchen is small it's ideal for making some small meals for a couple of nights. There is a great supermarket only about 5mins walk away and the neighbourhood itself is very pleasant. The only slight drawback is the distance of the apartment from Baden Baden centre, it's about 20 mins by bus and we found that they stopped running at about 8PM from the centre. Instead there is a service where you have to ring a taxi/bus that picks you up. It's not a problem, just something to bear in mind when you are planning your journeys. Overall we would definitely recommend the apartment, it's a fantastic base for exploring the area and a visit to the spa is a must!

Enjoyed our 2 days stay in Baden-Baden with Kirsten as our host. The studio apartment was in a pleasant upmarket suburb of BB, Kirsten's pictures and description were very accurate, we were very impressed. The bed settee was large and comfortable, there was a smart bathroom and nice kitchen area and tv. There were a choice of descent bars and restaurants within a 15 min walk, although this is a quiet residential area so nothing too boisterous. We walked 10km through the vine yards up into the Black Forest to Baden-Baden which was tremendous, although you could easily get lost! Missed the last bus back and caught a taxi - BB is very nice, very posh and not too pricey, we had a lovely day. All in all a good stop over; very clean, contemporary and functional. We'd definitely stay with Kirsten again.

Great little apartment situated out of Baden Baden but with bus stop right outside door. Kitchen very cramped but we managed to cook without too much trouble. Kerstin made sure we had all we needed to make the stay enjoyable

Everything was excellent! Kerstin was flexible for the time of arrival and very helpful. The appartement is great, brand new and absolutely clean! There were water, coffee and sweeties waiting for us. I definitely recommend it and think we will be back to Kerstin's, one day or another.

The flat we rented was great. It was clean and spacious. The sofa bed was very comfortable and shower great. We reached a little early and Kerstin was kind enough to invite us over for a drink. It's close to the city centre and not far from the airport which was ideal for us. Kerstin recommended a lovely restaurant for dinner which we enjoyed immensely. Would definitely be coming back. In fact, the hotel has a unique location and fantastic view. One looks from the top of the Rhine Rift and can even detect the Münster in Strasbourg good. We felt in the spacious, very clean apartment very well. Everything you need is available in the apartment. Especially nice to sit on the large balcony and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the view is. Saßbachwalden what is about 2 steep kilometers away, is beautiful. We can recommend the hotel to anyone and would look forward, back there to enjoy a few wonderful days in the Black Forest!

In addition, we have received some travel advice from your and exchanged views on the most beautiful Christmas markets in the Black Forest. The place is wonderful with a really nice view from the balcony. It is very clean and pretty. My wife was especially impressed with how clean and organized everything was in the apartment. Christel was very warm and welcoming. We were traveling with two small children and Christel prepared couch for them, extra towels for kids, and even the plastic tableware. The apartment was also decorated in Christmas theme with a welcoming piece of Christstollen. Very considered. The place was easy to find. The house is near a picturesque village and in a beautiful region of south Germany. We really enjoyed our stay. We also visited Strasbourg and Colmar, each at about an hour drive from here.

I highly recommend this flat. It is well equiped (e.g. kitchen). All the rooms are really spacious. Everything was clean. And it is not too far from the centre of Bühl (15 minutes by walk).

Andrea was unbelievably nice. 100% available and concerned, she was the perfect host for this lovely place. We highly recommend it. It is in a small town, but very beautiful, even better for us than the famous neighbor Baden-Baden. You'll have access to the whole ground-floor (you basically have a private entry), which is very comfortable, big, well decorated and smelled wonderfully when we got there. The kitchen is perfect, the room lovely and you can park your car almost at the door and chill in the neat garden. We are thankful for Andrea's hospitality, is was really heart-warming.

We had a fantastic stay! Very charming setting in a really convenient location. The hosts were very helpful in suggesting things to do in the area. This was our first airbnb experience and we left completely satisfied. You could barely even hear the trains going by. We drove to the house, but you could absolutely take the train here instead of drive. You would literally get off right at the house. We drove into Triberg from Renchen. Easy drive with some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen.

Martin is the best host. He helped us in every way he could. The house is big with huge rooms. The place is well equipped.

Overall, my experience during this trip was excellent. My group was welcomed warmly and we adapted our holiday based on the activities advised by the host. Each activity was located within 30 minutes from the house. Evenings were spent making use of the grill in the yard and the trampoline. This is a great location for a relaxing get-away with family and/or friends.

We liked the house very much! First, the house had enough amenities, good TV, good computer, good food etc. The house was perfect! It was great ! It is better than others I had found by airbnb! The apartment Irene and Martin is very broad and added amenities such as computer, playstation, dishwasher, washer-dryer and playground with barbecue in common area but available. We rested very well in the beds and the bathroom was very complete. All supplements to use in the kitchen (spices, coffee capsules, cloths, dishwasher tablets, even plastic bags for snacks or aluminum foil) and bathroom were included (gel, shampoo, cleaning products, etc ... ) there are also bedding and towels so that it is only with suitcases and get closer to the supermarket for provisions. We are happy to have made the trip with our pet, many nearby areas to walk. In addition the building is attached to the train station which allows to make excursions to the Black Forest to the panoramic train or visiting nearby cities without scrolling with your own car though is a luxury driving on German motorways for comfort, spaciousness and gratuity . We liked the friendliness and courtesy of the hosts.

Great place to stay for visiting the black forest and Strasbourg. Anita and Manfred were really welcoming hosts. They were flexible with the check out time (as no one was arriving after us, which was great as we got an extra exploring the forest.

My friend and I had a very relaxed weekend at the apartment of Manfred and Anita. They where lovely hosts and we felt immediately welcome. The apartment was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The view is amazing and this whole place was magical. We went outside to see the waterfalls and enjoyed the Hasenhorn Rodelbahn in Todtnau. If you need a place to escape from the big cities and want to enjoy the beautiful nature don't hesitate! We would definitely recommend the black forest and especially this cozy apartment with this very sweet and helpful hosts.

Great location- a 15 minute walk away from from the start of hiking trails, restaurants, and a bakery (breakfast & coffee even on Sunday!). A short drive (or a long hike) to the beautiful ruins at Allerheilegen. The welcome preparations- snacks, drinks, and local maps & tourist info-- were great. For the price, it's a steal. Not quite the romantic setting I'd hoped for, but a very charming place.

My wife and I had a really relaxing week here. Special thanks to Manfred and Anita for their warm welcome on the evening we arrived and for their kindness throughout our stay. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The wonderful view across the valley from the bedroom, the kitchen and the living room meant we didn't feel the need to leave the apartment to enjoy the Black Forest. However we did tour the Black Forest quite extensively every day. The Tesla superchargers at Achern, conveniently just 11 km away, became a regular stop. The apartment was indeed cosy, even with sub-zero temperatures and snow outside. We were very happy to be visiting the Black Forest when few tourists were around. The snowy landscapes, especially at higher altitudes, were spectacular. All in all, a very special treat for us. We look forward to returning here in future.

Thanks to Manfred and Anita Decker we had a very pleasant stay at the flat in Ottenhoefen. Upon our arrival we were offered beer and water and were made very welcome. The flat has everything you need, is clean and comfy. The area is lovely for walks and the Konus card, which enables you to travel in the Black Forest on trains and busses for free was a big bonus! We would definitely recommend the accommodation.

Fantastic house and location. Step outdoors and take any trail as far as you want. Thomas was a perfect host. The house is incredibly spacious, views are fantastic and Thomas has lots of extras available. His house is perfect and very cozy. The little village is perfect as well. In the winter there is skiing close by. We came in April and enjoyed hiking, tranquility, clean air and beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend Thomas´s place!

I want to thank Thomas for his wonderful house and our comfortable stay. We were traveling from Russia to Spain by car and could spend only one night in Germany, and we wish we could stay in Forbach longer. It was a nice surprise to find this cottage in a small quiet village in the valley between two mountains. You can hear birds singing and breathe the freshest air as the house stays right near the forest. The cottage itself is full of interesting stuff such as real old wooden telephone, table games, magazines. There are also all kind of things you may ever need: plenty of kitchen stuff, dishes, cups, glasses, coffee, sugar, salt, variety of seasoning; matches, candles, maps, bottle and can openers, napkins, books for kids and coloring books... There's no mobile signal in the house, but you can go to the church to call or find 3G. The host is very welcoming, we're happy we've chosen this place to spend a night.

We absolutely loved this place! It was clean, new, romantic, deep in the Black Forest. We wished we could stay there longer. Bed was comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well equipped and modern. We had a very comfortable stay. Bed was good. The house, was clean and cozy and very complete. Nice that there was a small house 'bar' where you could buy for a really small price (1 euro) different kind of liquor. Because there is no shop around, you should bring your own food, but the host was so gentle that there was also some food in storage, in case you might forget. Very kind! Overall, we had a short, but pleasant stay. The surroundings seem nice if you are into walking or cycling!

Spacious flat in Old Steinbach center. Clean and modern. Stone's throw from the church with quaint bells every quarter hour from 6am to 9pm. Great for early risers and folks who want to eat out as the kitchen is a bit limited.

Ben's place was the perfect place for our family of three to relax and explore the Black Forest region. Everything was about 1hr drive so we felt it was a great location. We had a 2 years old toddler with us and she loved it. She called it her Germany home. Ben was a great host and very easy to correspond with. He provided suggestions to visit a near by castle which was amazing. Also the apt was a bit cold on our first night and he helped us get the indoor fireplace going which was a huge help. I would definitely recommend Ben's place!! We would love to go back!!

We stayed at Bens beautiful apartment ten whole days - which can be summed up with just relaxing, nice and cozy. The apartment is even greater than it appears in the pictures, very pleasantly decorated and you really could well reside there. Despite foggy autumn days it was bright and inviting inside, thanks to the many windows and the fireplace has the evenings complemented beautifully. For sitting outside it was too cold, but there are terraces definitely enough :) And both the trails and attractions as well as the Alsace are very good and easy to reach by car. Ben was always there for us and always friendly, nice, approachable and extremely straightforward. Our stay was very satisfying!

Booking Ben's place was the best thing we did on our whole trip in Germany! He helped us settle in quickly and we felt at home almost instantly. My girlfriend and I fell in love with the house immediately. It's quiet amidst nature, well located for visiting The Black Forest region & Strasbourg, and the kitchen was fantastic (well equipped & clean). Wifi was pretty fast and stable too. There's so much more good stuff to say about the unit. Ben was also a great host. He was really helpful with our questions and was a friendly, down to earth guy to chat with. Very nice host and a super nice, bright, cozy apartment. We have stayed 4 nights over New Year there. Unfortunately the weather has not really played, but in this great accommodation we could easily spend the day lazily in front of the fireplace. Bens beautiful apartment is an ideal place to relax in nature. It is decorated with many nice details and very cozy. Although it has almost always rained during our three-day stay, we had a great time here - from the large windows in all directions, we had an amazing view of the countryside and flowering trees, so we felt almost like out there. In better weather it would have been be great to use the terrace - next time then;)

We had a great experience in Benjamin house! The house is in a great location to visit the Back Forest. The apartment is beatuful, sorrounded by nature on a small hill with great view and the small town of Oberkirch is just few minutes by car. Inside is new and even better than in the pictures. Ben's house was one of the best houses we ever stayed. We spend there a week and celebrated a New Year. Location is perfect - in the Black Forest, 45 km from Baden-Baden, very close to France (only 30 km from Strasbourg). The house with wonderful view of Black Forest. It's very warm, cozy, nicely decorated, spacious, and well equipped. We used chimney for warmth and coziness during the evenings. So we had vacations we dreamed about and had everything that we needed. Ben lives on the first floor, he was very helpful and careful. We didn't see him much, but when we needed something, we had it. For us he was like Christmas Elf, not seen but very kind. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope we will return one day. Thank you Ben!

Very nice and welcoming house where we felt immediately at home. Spacious living room with stove and great sofa. Very clean and modern bathroom. Great view on the surrounding fields and lovely terrrace. Close to Europa park and some nice hiking trails (we recommend brennersteig). What a fabulous find on airbnb! We were warmly greeted by André and he ensured that we understood where everything in the apartment was and also provided information about the area. The apartment is so well equipped and comfortable you could live permanently in it. We loved the closeness to the village and also the quick access to the Northern Black Forest area. We can't recommend more highly. However, if visitors are reliant on access to the Internet this is difficult however appears to be the area rather than just this apartment. However the link is beamed from across the road at Dirk's home so this may also contribute. Come and stay - you will love it. A special thank you to Dirk and André.

Were two beautiful days in the apartment. Shower with good shower spray and hot water, cozy apartment, coffee and espresso machine available, dishwasher too. had everything you need kitchen. Landlord was very nice and had good advice for our activities.

Hi Dirk, we felt very comfortable in your apartment in Sasbachwalden. The apartment is beautifully appointed, especially the kitchen. Description of Driving and keys unfolded very well. The location is also very good, within walking distance in the village everything is within that area anyway terrific.

Dirk was a phenomenal host and his apartment was just as awesome. I visited Sasbachwalden on a vacation with my sister and brother-in-law. Though we arrived in Sasbachwalden late, Dirk stayed up to give us the key and offer us some very useful advice on where to go and what to do. Dirk was friendly, knowledgeable, and the place was perfect. The apartment was spotless, beds comfortable, and it was equipped with everything we needed. The town was gorgeous. Vineyards and hiking trails abound. I cannot recommend Dirk and his great apartment enough.

Modern and brand new apartment. Eugene was very pleasant and gave us a very friendly. We stayed with him an excellent stay. Ideal for a couple with children.

Nota: No estábamos en esta propiedad, ya que ya estaba en uso y se han ofrecido en el carcoma hotel, el apartamento "Tanne" - el que la evaluación se refiere: un alojamiento muy acogedor, muy amable, buena ubicación para los ciclistas de montaña (justo al lado del parada de autobús a la altura de la hierba, donde comienza "el" Camino), el uso gratuito a la sauna, etc. :) Si estamos de nuevo en Sasbachwalden, a continuación, con mucho gusto una vez más carcoma!
