Places to stay in Grant
Situated at the gateway to the Kenosha and Guanella Passes in the gorgeous Colorado Rocky Mountains our humble yet cozy abode straddles a beautiful river just one hour from Denver. Our property offers guests views of blend Aspen and Pine trees and towering mountains which host a variety of wildlife including big horn sheep, elk, moose, bears and many other little critters. We offer guests a chance to relax riverside while sitting next to a campfire.
Our rooms offer Roku tv and Netflix for those who wish to just kick back and relax away from the hustle and bustle.
On our property is a historical building that housed the US Post Office in the 1800's that became a gas station in the 20's and is now a very convenient liquor store that though smaller than some shoe closets has a nice variety of craft beers, liquor and wines and a few snacks. Within 10 minutes are a myriad of hiking trails including the breathtaking Colorado Trail.
  • Anastasia's hospitality is top notch. She was easy to reach and even came out to meet us outside upon our arrival making sure everything was to our liking. ❤️❤️

  • No road that goes straight to keystone, though it may be near keystone, it takes 2 hours to get there, I’m not sure why it showed up when I said keystone stays

  • Anastasia and Christopher’s place exceeded our expectations. As the new owners, they have really brought this place alive! The rooms were clean, the view by the river was spectacular, the location was great for aspen viewing at Kenosha/Guanella pass, and the hospitality was superlative! On top of that, they were exceptionally dog friendly. We had an unforgettable time getting to know the hosts, other guests, and their dogs. Would highly recommend staying with Anastasia and Christopher to anyone and everyone!

    Jessica2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The river behind the rooms is absolutely breathtaking. They have coffee and mugs for in the morning and it’s the perfect place to rest your head in the middle of a trip while enjoying the Aspens change.

Cozy tiny cabin nestled in the mountains with amazing views! The large picture window offers a majestic mountain view all year long. 420 friendly private outdoor courtyard with waterfall & twinkle lights. Access to hot tub. Micro kitchen has fully stocked coffee bar, toaster oven, induction cooktop and mini fridge. Light breakfast snacks provided. The luxurious memory foam pillow top mattress is unbeatable. Artisan locally sourced wildfire stump sink in bathroom. Located 2.4 miles from 285.
We invite you to share our little piece of mountain serenity with us. My family lives in a log cabin right next to our tiny house. The tiny house is located down a set of stairs. Please be prepared to use stairs if you stay with us. The hot tub shares a deck with our house but is yours to use exclusively for the duration of your visit. Guests have a designated parking spot with a painted sign and a private courtyard with a small waterfall feature and outdoor string lights for a relaxing intimate outdoor meal and/or smoking. All smoking (420 included) is allowed outside only. In our snow season, 4 wheel drive vehicle (or other winter ready type of vehicle) is sometimes necessary. (Generally, for our location, it is only necessary during or following winter storms.) Colorado implements "Passenger Vehicle Traction & Chain Laws" during winter storms for Hwy 285, which is the highway necessary to drive on in order to get to the cabin. So it is best to plan ahead and have the required type of vehicle reserved if you plan to visit during the winter months. The laws are put in place for the safety of all drivers on the roads. Please visit the cdot site for details on the requirements by law for passenger vehicles, including rental cars. FYI: recently, the I-70 mountain roads now have an all-time traction law 9 months out of the year, even if there is not a current winter storm in effect. If you plan to drive into the mountains on I-70 at all, you are required to rent a 4wd, all wheel drive vehicle, or 2wd with snow or mud/snow tires. Kitchenette includes: mini fridge (no freezer), small toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, induction cook top with pan/lid/spatula, plates and utensils, bowls, cups/glasses, wine bottle opener, and a cutting board. We also provide cooking oils and salt/pepper. There is a sink in the kitchen as well. Dish soap and a scrub brush are also provided. We include kitchen towels but no paper towels or napkins as we try to be as eco conscious as possible. As with most mountain homes, our tiny cabin does not have forced air conditioning. However, it usually gets quite cool in the evening in the summertime so open windows and the ceiling fan do the job of keeping you cool! (Of course, I can't promise cool evenings; I can just let you know what's typical for our area.) I have a family member with severe pet allergies, so I cannot allow any pets on our property. Because the outdoor space is shared and my home is also used for cleaning linens and other items from the cabin (so, also a "shared" space), we cannot allow ANY pets on our property due to these severe family allergies. There can be no exceptions to this rule as this would be detrimental to the health and safety of my family. Thank you for understanding that there can be absolutely no exceptions to this rule.
Our place is located in a small rustic mountain neighborhood. It was a mining community back in the 1920s. We have some close neighbors, but they keep to themselves. Our neighbors are very particular about everyone driving slow on our dirt roads as they are not county maintained, so please follow the 10 mph speed limit signs. Watch for children at play, wildlife, and ATV/UTV travel on the dirt roads. Things to do nearby: Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a rock structure near Morrison, Colorado, 10 miles west of Denver, where concerts are given in the open-air amphitheatre. Did you know: Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a geological phenomenon - the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheatre in the world. Staunton State Park - 12102 S Elk Creek Rd, Pine, CO Staunton State Park is a mosaic of low grasslands, rocky foothills, soaring granite cliffs, and lush stream corridors. From high grassy meadows at 8,100 feet to soaring granite cliffs over 10,000 feet, the park's geology, soils, water features, and climate create a rich variety of habitats. • This space was even more beautiful than the pictures show! Bekhs is an exceptional host who has created a warm and inviting atmosphere with thoughtful touches throughout! We enjoyed a light snowfall in the hot tub and then a beautiful clear sunrise the next morning- we saw the clouds move through the valley through the large windows around the cabin- it felt like a treehouse, truly magical! Anytime I visit this area Bekhs place will be my first thought ♥️

Check-in was a breeze and everything is clearly labeled. The local tips were amazing and everything needed for the trip was a quick drive away. • Whether it’s your first time in an Airbnb or your millionth, Mark and Bianca will provide you with hospitality and views far beyond your imagination! We celebrated a bachelorette trip but we all could imagine a couples retreat in this space as well. It’s truly the little things that count, and M and B take into account everything!

  • This has been our favorite Air bnb! The place is so cute and cozy and not to mention it is a gorgeous mountain oasis. If you are looking for the perfect Colorado stay, look not further. The hot tub was a great way to end a long day and there is a beautiful Mountain View just a short walk away. I would stay here again and again. Mark and Bianca were we’re absolutely amazing hosts. Everything was so clean and they really helped make this stay amazing. From shuttling us up the driveway in the snow to cleaning off our car and helping us with a little dinner, this place truly has it all. We will definitely be back in the summer!!

  • Mark and Bianca were wonderful hosts with a gorgeous property nestled up in the mountains just west of Denver. We thoroughly enjoyed our winter getaway at their place for the weekend. The property is gorgeous, and the home very comfortable. They did a great job plowing the driveway for us so that it was easy for us to get up the driveway in the snow. They are extremely considerate hosts and had some great recommendations of places to eat in the surrounding area.

  • Responsive, helpful and experienced host! Amazing location if you're looking for a not too far from the city mountain getaway. We would love to pay another visit to this tiny house that accommodates myself, my mom and brother.

  • Wonderful location, beautiful views! Perfect for a quick getaway.

    Sara2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing! We enjoyed our stay here. We were on a road trip moving from Los Ángeles to Chicago. We stayed here one of the nights and felt it was a perfect little getaway. It’s beautiful, cozy, and perfect outdoorsy feel!

    Becca2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny home was such a wonderful spot for our little mini retreat from the city and into the peace of the mountains. Hike by day and tea by the fireside at night with our books made for a rejuvenating couple of days. Everything about the home was perfect for us. The smaller size only added to the experience and we actually felt that the 550 square feet was actually more than enough for us. We highly recommend this spot for those wantingto reconnect in nature and experience a slower face of living. Robin was a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had.

    Brendan2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Robin's place was just what we needed, a quaint place in a very peaceful setting. It was great to unwind for a day here.

    Vincent2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The veiws are beautiful. Watching the sunrise from the deck was awesome!

    Sarah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The space is a tiny house! It’s a renovated camper trailer. Robin keeps it super clean for what it is. The wind is very strong in February, but the fireplace and heater keeps the space toasty warm! The WiFi is up to speed and the well water is clean and pure!

    Ellen2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

Take a break from the world and enjoy 3.5 wooded acres at 9,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains. This home is designed and inspired by hygge (hu-geh), a Danish word and lifestyle that evokes the feeling of coziness, well-being, and simple pleasures. An outdoor steam sauna, 2 decks, and amazing views await you. Get cozy, explore, play games, hammock, read, take day trips, and make unforgettable memories with your loved ones. Refocus, rejuvenate, and relax in this intentionally curated space...
Follow on Instagram and tag your stay @hyggechalet_co The Hygge Chalet is located in the rural Rocky Mountains of Colorado, It is only 1 hour from downtown Denver and 1 hour to multiple ski resorts. There is an abundance of outdoor activities nearby that make perfect for day trips in the mountains. Upon booking, a personalized website detailing all the things to do and see will be provided. The home is a 1970's A-Frame, inspired by Scandinavia. It has a modern and clean design with a cottage vibe. Living Essentials: The home is 1400 square feet with an open floor plan. There is a full kitchen with granite counters, high-quality cookware, and all dining essentials. Basics such as, cooking oil, salt and pepper, a few spices, condiments, etc. are provided. A fair-trade and organic hot drink bar with Chemex coffee, tea, and hot chocolate is also yours to indulge in. The home is stocked with good reads, lots of board games, an iPad for movies, music, and information, a Bluetooth speaker loud enough to fill the home, a gas fireplace for ambiance, and a drawer of candles, incense, and oils to help create your own hygge vibes. All high-quality linens, towels, robes, and slippers are freshly-washed. Bed & Bath: Both the loft and bedroom have super comfortable memory foam queen beds. The bathroom has a walk-in shower (no tub) and many toiletries and extras you might need. Sauna: The barrel steam sauna truly sets this place apart from all the rest. It's easy to use and allows you to sauna bathe in the traditional Finnish way by pouring water onto heated rocks to create steam. Most nights in the Rockies are clear enough to see the Milky Way and star-gazing is exceptional here, especially when taking a cool-down break from the sauna. Outdoor Living: The 3.5 acres of land is mostly wooded and backs up to National Forest. There are 2 decks and a porch area with stunning views, cafe lights, a picnic table, a gas grill for cooking out (seasonal), and plenty of hammocks (also seasonal) and Adirondack chairs to keep you content. Behind the home is a street art-inspired mural with an Aspen and Mandala scene created by a local Denver artist. Please Note: While the home is very private and at the top of the hill, it is in a neighborhood and has proximity with the main road. Depending on the weather and traffic (especially holiday weekends), the sounds from the road vary. If you're expecting absolute silence and seclusion, this might not be the place for you. In winter, this proximity to highway is appreciated by guests because of the snow. Like most mountain homes in the area, there are a few neighbors nearby. This lowers the environmental impact of development, but also means you'll see a few other homes on your way up. While the home sits at the top of a hill and is surrounded by trees, private does not mean secluded. The closest neighbors are Nicki and Damon. They are very friendly and hospitable. Nicki is the cleaner/assistant for the chalet and Damon does general maintenance along with snow plowing... so feel free to wave or say "Hi!" if you see them! They're great to have nearby if an urgent need should arise.
Upon booking, you will be provided with a website I've created that is filled with day-trip itineraries, lots of information on places to visit, things to do and see, places to hike/snowshoe, and places to eat and drink. It also includes an interactive map with categories and distances from the chalet to help you plan your trip! I am passionate about Colorado and dedicated to making your visit one for the books! The chalet is located just off of 285, which is a plowed, well-maintained highway to get you safely and easily exploring. The home is right next to Guanella Pass, which provides an incredible mountain drive of spectacular views, other-worldy landscapes at 12,000 feet, big horn sheep, winding streams, waterfalls, and lots of hiking. The pass takes you to the cutest mountain town, Georgetown and other neat places along the i-70 corridor. This is also one of the most sought-after locations for aspen leaf peeping in fall. The pass is closed in winter (late-Nov to late-May) but there is still plenty to do in winter and Georgetown/i-70 is accessible through Evergreen all year. Going over Kenosha Pass takes you to South Park (yes, the town from the TV show), Buena Vista, Salida, etc. which is an area loaded with things to do and see all year round, including 2 exceptional hot springs! The cabin is close to stunning hikes of various difficulties, world-class fishing, adventure activities (zip-line, whitewater, etc.), cultural and historical activities (ghost towns, mining for gold, dinosaur fossils, etc.), surreal leaf peeping in the fall, horseback riding, ATV, train rides, sleigh rides, snowshoeing/snowmobiling in winter, cute mountain towns to explore, and so many fantastic local breweries, distilleries, and restaurants. The are a couple cafes nearby where you can experience true mountain friendliness. The closest and the best (just down the hill) is the Shaggy Sheep. Make sure to stop in and say "Hi!" to Sarah and Chris. Red Rocks Amphitheater is just 40 minutes away. This is considered one of the best places in the world to see a concert and doing so should be on anyone's bucket list. Check the website for the schedule. Even if you can't make a show, the park is on the way to/from Denver and well-worth a visit. The closest ski resort is Breckenridge at just an hour's drive (and a beautiful one) and is a perfect day trip to ski/snowboard or just hang around in a beautiful ski town (there is a lot to do and see here no matter the time of year). Vail is 2 hours away and there are a handful of others just 1.5 hours away. There are plenty of mountain activities to fill your days with during ALL of Colorado's incredible 4 seasons! Each season provides a different experience, but no matter what time of year you comes, no matter which direction you go, and no matter what you decide to do, the drives will be beautiful and there will plenty to keep you occupied and content.
  • This was a magnificent getaway. An easy drive from Denver, and yet you feel totally secluded. The Sauna was the best amenity, so, so lovely! Plus, the small touches of the chemex coffee maker, the snacks, sparkling water, and extra toothbrushes and toothpaste made us feel so comfortable. I also loved the sustainability that is at the forefront of this place...natural bath products, seventh generation toilet paper, reusable mugs, recycling is a must, and organic and fair trade food items. Every detial is thought of in this place! We will return again soon!

  • This place was the definition of serenity. It’s cozy and elegant and me and my girlfriend couldn’t have had a better experience here. The views are amazing and the decor throughout the house is delightful. There is plenty of things to do around the area. If you want a private exclusion in the mountains with wonderful amenities this is the place for you.

    Blake2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • The hygge chalet exceeded our expectations! The home is warm and cozy with thoughtful touches as soon as you walk in the door. Very private and Serene. With it being so private make sure you load up on grocery’s before you get there the nearest store is 30-40 minutes away! Just be prepared and you will have a lovely time. I throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again when we are in the area! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

  • The Hygge Chalet is outstanding! Everything we wanted and more in a weekend getaway in the mountains. The pictures, although accurate, don’t do it enough justice. The chalet is an ultra cozy, sparkling clean, tastefully decorated and well appointed home. I thought twice about leaving such a glowing review for fear it would be booked so often we’d never be able to get back there again. But....everyone should have a chance to experience such a jewel. Book it, you won’t be disappointed!

  • This place is WONDERFUL! Highly suggest staying here. I had no issues whatsoever. Great location, super clean, and very stylish. Plenty of room and Amenities. Loved my stay!

  • If you are looking for a unique and cozy get away in the mountains, this is your place! I’m this busy world there isn’t a lot of time away from electronics. But here we spent time playing games listening to music and laughing! The perfect location! Gorgeous drive to Breckenridge and other ski slopes or you can be in Denver in less than 2 hrs. The place was easy to get to with a 4 whee drive. Very spotless and had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend

  • I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to leave this review here. Julie has created an incredibly special place in the mountains and I would 100% recommend it for anyone looking to get away at any time of year. The Hygge chalet is better than it is in pictures. Every single detail has been thoughtfully considered and selected--down to chemex and delicious coffee and snacks, to the Scandinavian furnishings, bedding, sauna, and bathroom extras. This is one of those moments where the pictures don't do justice to the place. We stayed here with friends visiting from out of town and the whole weekend, we were surprised and delighted discovering one detail after another. Julie's list of activities was also perfect. We are new to CO and don't know the area that well, but we had a magical weekend driving through the mountains and snowmobiling in Breckenridge, per Julie's suggestions (about 1 hour drive away). On a personal note, I lived in Denmark a few years ago and Julie has truly captured and essence and joy of "hygge" in that she created a beautiful space of rest, relaxation, with little notes of luxury that are appropriate for the mountains and a weekend away. We all felt in awe of nature, quiet, and the joy of good friendship after this short weekend. And finally on a side note, Julie was an amazing host. I had a number of questions, changes, and reservation issues with Airbnb and she addressed them immediately and was very concerned with us having a great weekend. (Airbnb also did eventually address the issues.) We will definitely be back!

The cabin on Hall Rd is in Harris Park Estates in the rural outskirt of Bailey, Colorado. We are 45 mins south of Denver off of Highway 285. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in 1 room & 2 single beds in the other room. The bathroom has a shower/tub. And the kitchen is fully equipped.
This quaint cabin has a deck that overlooks Mount Evans and Mt. Rosalie. There is patio furniture and a propane grill. For the more adventurous there are spectacular hiking trails, such as Tanglewood. Additionally, there is a gorgeous lake within a ten minute walk. Main street Bailey is a 20 minute drive south on 285, where you will find eateries like Rustic Station offering local cuisine. Breckinridge Ski Resort is 1.5 hours and Winter Park Ski a Resort is 2 hours away. There is also rafting in the towns south of Bailey. You won't be disappointed in the tranquility of nature at the cabin on Hall Road! Enjoy!
I love the sunrise over the pine trees. I love the spectacular flight of hummingbirds. I love the living room's huge picture window facing west with snow capped mountains and blue sky. I love the smell of abundant pine trees!
  • I cannot say enough about the cabin! Firstly, the view! Sitting on the mountainside of Mt. Rosalie, you have amazing mountain views and you overlook the community below. The cabin itself is very well decorated with Jocelyns sense of style. My wife and I both were in awe of the view from sitting in the living area. Between the activities in the area and a great place to call home while there, this was the perfect end to our trip. Highly recommended!!

  • This is a great place for a couple to get away from everything. Its really cool that she’s allows smoking in the basement, we really enjoyed that. But whatever you do DONT PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY when there’s snow on the ground. Its impossible to get out of, without help. Everything else about this home is great and i would stay here again.

  • Amazing place to enjoy with your family 😊

    Nancy2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don’t do it justice, this cabin and the scenery are both beautiful! Waking up and being able to look out your window to the sunrise hitting mountain tops across the valley is amazing. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

  • Expect an awesome adventure getting there especially if you travel in January!

  • The cabin was located in a beautiful place on the mountains, great view. Everything in the cabin was great, the only downside was the parking, since it was a little icy it was a bit difficult to get out of the driveway since it's a but steep. But parked on the street after being able to get out! Thanks for everything it was amazing!

  • Loved this cozy cabin with the most amazing view! The amenities were great. Half of our week was just lounging around the cabin watching movies and relaxing. It was great

NOW ACCEPTING WINTER STAYS! “The Refuge" is so named because it is a very peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of life. Nestled into rock-outcroppings, my home has two decks, one tucked cozily by the rocks and one with an expansive view of the mountains to the west. This guest room has the best view in the house. Whether you are wanting a mountain getaway for an extended stay or on business in Denver, this place will soothe your soul during your visit. I also have two cats and two puppies.
Great for individuals or couples mostly. There are stairs to get up to the bedroom and main floor. If you are allergic to cats or dogs I do not recommend staying at my home. I keep it clean and vacuumed, but the pets have the run of the house. This home is a smoke free, drug free home.
The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is fairly quiet and it feels remote even though it's not. You will likely see birds, squirrels and deer while here or maybe even a fox.
  • Nicest place I have stayed so far...

    Cliff2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Justin’s place is beautiful surrounded by nature super comfortable and well located I highly recommended and would stay again and Justin is a great host very welcoming.

    Felipe2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, nice host and amazing pets.

    Aikaterini2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Justin's refuge was one of our favorite Airbnb stays we've had. Justin is very hospitable and his cats and dogs are fun and adorable! We stayed for 4 weeks, and it was exactly the experience we were hoping for coming in... peaceful, serene, and simply difficult to part with afterwards. It's rare when we return to the same Airbnb twice, but this is one of those rarities that would bring us back.

    Marcus2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • The Refuge is truly a home away from home. I've stayed here before and will stay her again. Justin is incredibly kind and a wonderful host. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. I can't say enough good things about this home.

    Gus2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Stay with Justin!!!! Colorado is a beautiful place and Justin’s place was awesome. Justin is a great host that makes life easy. His animals were friendly. We saw deer twice on his front porch while we were there. Beautiful sunset on his back porch every night. First time using an Airbnb and I was nervous but Justin made it an enjoyable experience. If you’re going to Colorado, stay with Justin! He’s very welcoming!

  • If all you are looking for is a fantastic spot with a great view to lay your head while you explore the Denver area mountainsides and mountain towns, this should be your stay. The *only* drawback is it's not your own space and it's not the lap of luxury. Their is not going to be a chocolate mint on your pillow every afternoon when you return. You're not booking this room because it luxurious, though. You're going to book it for the following reasons: Good location that is easy to get to once you've gotten there. Super cute house. Comfortable bed. Plenty of closet space to hang your clothes. Hot shower. Cool, fresh mountain air. Great host. Awesome view of Mt. Evans. Adorable pets. Proximity to many different mountain towns and to Denver. Amazingly affordable. Freshly brewed homemade espresso drink that will be more delicious than you are expecting it to be while you sit on the patio birdwatching and taking in that great view of Mount Evans.

  • This place really is amazing to stay at in CO. You get to see so much just out of your bedroom window! If we get the chance we'd love to stay here again!

  • The cabin is a wonderfully cozy and private spot, perfect for a peaceful getaway. I definitely recommend it to others looking to stay in the area.

    Alicia2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Nice, tucked away but close to ski resorts and Idaho springs. No cell service at the cabin which we found to be nice. WiFi worked great. Tiny but cozy. Bathroom separated by a curtain, don’t expect too much privacy but we loved the cozy/intimate feel. Clean and well set up w a warm and comfortable bed. Beautiful creek and porch set up. 10/10 recommend

    Lee2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsay’s place was so peaceful. It was perfect for my needs. She gives special attention to the small details that make a space feel cozy. I especially loved the gas fireplace. It added a nice touch, and warmed the house too.

It’s not luxurious but probably exactly what you need: clean, comfortable, and the communication was easy and prompt! Would happily stay again or recommend to others.

We understand that families and friends often travel together but do not necessarily want to share the same sleeping space. Our Cabin provides three options (each listed separately). The Cabin provides two separate living spaces, each with a private outside entrance. Our Studio works well for small groups (1-2). The Bunk House is a good fit for a slightly larger group (1-4). Book the entire Cabin if you are traveling with friends or family and want two separate spaces in the same location.
****Special Information**** 4WD or AWD Required from October through May The weather this time of year is unpredictable, with sometimes over 2-3 feet of snow on the ground, you will require an AWD or 4WD to access the cabins. I cannot stress enough, how important it is for you to have the right kind of vehicle to make it to our cabins due to seasonal conditions at 8000 feet above sea level. If you rent a two wheel drive car, there is a good chance you WILL NOT make it to the cabins. If you choose to disregard this information, it is at your own risk. • Great space, very kind, and a beautiful view

    Aryonna2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent time at this cabin! It’s so cozy and inviting. It was exactly as described with all the amenities you’d find at your own home. Jill was extremely flexible with our check-in which we greatly appreciated! She answered questions quickly and gave excellent driving directions on how to get to her place. (Make sure you have AWD!) The location was private and the views were outstanding!! We would absolutely stay here again when we go back to Colorado!

    Jessica2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • The photos you see absolutely do not do the place justice. It was absolutely perfect. There were deer, birds, squirrels, it was just a perfect winter wonderland. It is a perfect getaway from everyday life. We took our Nissan Rogue AWD (no snow tires) and we needed to get some snow chains (we got stuck) to make it out the mountain. Make sure you have AWD or 4WD (the mountain is no joke, you will get stuck during winter), or some snow chains, they aren’t too pricey. Just expect to see the most beautiful view everyday, and a family of super friendly deer every morning. Hopefully you get to meet Martha (super badass old lady next door). If you’re thinking about staying in the city instead, DONT it is beyond perfect here. Just book it!!! Jill is amazing you will love the trip here. Make sure to visit coffee bean and bakery, about 5 minutes away from the place (just have to make it out the mountain). I would drive back from Texas just for their bread. We loved biker Jim’s gourmet dogs in Denver and Marcos coal fired pizza. Also if you need something warm, pho haus (Denver) is perfect for that. Visit evergreen!! Oh and there is over 100 acres to hike in around the cabin!! You will have so much fun. Thank you Jill!

    Elizabeth2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely better than expected, my stay was absolutely amazing! There is high-speed WIFI throughout the house and Apple TV in the living room. There is street parking right outside the back door. We are extremely clean and love our cozy little home! I will be on a travel assignment out of town. My roommate works from home and her office is set up in her room. With this being a longer term stay, I would love to hear from you before booking. My roommate is pretty easy going, but would like to learn a little bit about you to make the stay enjoyable for everyone.
Located in Lakewood. 5 min drive to the nearest trailhead and a 10-15min drive to downtown Denver. There is a lightrail station 2 miles from our place. There is a grocery store right across the street and a small lake 0.25 miles from the back door with easy access for walks, runs, or relaxing by the water and watching the sunset.
  • Allison’s room was perfect for my extended stay for work. The washer are dryer were always available. The stay is in a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood just outside Denver. There’s a Taco Bell, Starbucks, and grocery store in walking distance! Amy, Allison’s roommate is super sweet and accommodating. I would love to stay here again next time I’m in Denver!

My place is close to Red Rocks Amphitheatre and is located @ the gateway to everything MOUNTAINS. Denver is just down the hill. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, peace and quiet, 1.5 acres of private forest, walking distance to local amenities, Fire TV, full kitchen, wildlife, hiking/biking trails, hammocks, fire pit, horseshoes, state of the art massage chair, and seasonal hot tub... My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends.
The large open spaces will make you feel comfortable while noticing a mountain cabin ambiance.
You will be surrounded by woods, but will be delighted to be within walking distance of a great variety of local amenities. Golden Stix (Chinese), Brooks Place Tavern (Sports Bar), Colorado's Best Beers (bike & zip line tours, late night bar open until ~11pm), Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza, Los 3 Garcias (Mexican), JJ Madwell's Italian, DW's Diner (Large American Breakfasts), Chill'd (Frozen Yogurt), Ahimsa Thai Massage Studio, Taspen's (Yoga/Holistic Health Studio/Organic CBD), King Soopers (Grocery), Natural Grocers (Organic Grocery/herbals), 2 Beer, Wine & Liquor stores, UPS Store.
  • Great place secluded but you can still walk to town. Big fenced yard is very nice.

  • Byrons home is heaven. Tucked away in the woods, it felt like complete privacy. The sofa in living room was so comfortable to relax after a busy day in Denver. Kitchen is stocked. Place was spotless and stylish. Byron was excellent at communication.

    Alicia2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Byron is an excellent host. His home is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It feels like a vacation from the moment you approach. Drive ¼ mile on the dirt road to the home. Park on the flagstone landing and walk down the quaint stepping stone stairs. The wooded backyard eases the mind and you are sure to see/hear hummingbirds in season, and deer. Nice to have the full kitchen. Very close to conveniences; restaurants, drugstore, market. Great location off 285 to get you most anywhere. Surprise big closet with shelves and space to hang clothes. Nice shower, fresh linens. Bed is comfortable. Big comfy reclining sofa. Welcoming desk and office area to set up shop if needed. Highly recommend for any length of stay.

    Sandi2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful scene surrounding the house in the woods. Although there are neighbors not too far away, it doesn't seem like anyone else is around. The house itself is great and has so much character. Spacious kitchen and lots of windows. We had lots of nice time on the decks out back. The trees are awesome, we even saw several deer. Lots of opportunity to see nature. The house is near several hiking trails, and the host gave great tips. Good places to eat nearby, and a Natural Grocers organic market. Our stay here was truly refreshing and inspiring.

    Dan2018-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Byron is an excellent host!! The house is super cute with a very comfy bed. The bathroom is incredibly clean with a huge shower. The fenced in backyard was perfect for my pup to run around and the deck was great for relaxing and working. Byron had some great hiking recommendations for the area and was extremely accommodating! Would definitely recommend staying here!

    Kim2018-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really cool place near Red Rocks. Very Comfortable.

  • Bryon was a great host! Stayed for 3 days and was absolutely perfect. I Recommend staying at this place, you will get your money's worth!!

    Ross2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • I was visiting to go to Red Rocks and do some hiking and was pleased with how close I was to both. Byron recommended Staunton State Park which is only 15 mins drive, which had great hiking trails and scenery. The house is in a quiet wooded neighborhood but still very close to the highway. We even saw a family of deer in the backyard (as advertised in the pics)! The nearby shopping center has plenty of options and an awesome organic grocery store is about a mile away. The purple house has a cool open feel with high ceilings. The house was very clean. I really appreciated the hot tub and hammocks in the backyard. Byron kept his word and was invisible yet easy to contact by text. Definitely book this place!

Our home is a cozy little spot that's nestled in a cute Mtn neighborhood up on Boreas Pass. Close to many hiking and Mtn biking trails and just a 7min drive to down town Breckenridge. We offer a quaint clean room, wifi, full kitchen and grill, and a large deck with great views for your enjoyment! This is our full time home that my husband Mike, our dog Charlie and I rent out home on the weekends. Although we will not be there during your stay you will see a few personal things.
This accommodation is a house that has a personal driveway with parking spots. It is a three bed house but we only rent out our extra room on the weekends. The house has a washer/dryer, outdoor grill, full kitchen, living room cable and wifi and a large deck in a quite neighborhood with surrounding forest and mountain views. The room offer a nice cozy bed a fan to keep you cool and a floor board heater to keep you warm.
We are up on the hill side of the town of Breckenridge. Our home is surrounded by trees and you can see the 10 mile range from our front porch. They are building a house neighborhood but they are only here on the weekdays so the weekend should be nice and quiet.
  • Great place to stay!

  • Awesome mountain cabin with easy/quick access to hiking, Breckenridge and everything you need to enjoy the mountains. Very close to several great hiking trails. Clean and well thought out accommodations. Timely communication, easy access. We even saw a mother and baby moose while watching a mountain sunset from the deck. Excellent trip.

    Matt2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a nice quite place outside of the crowds of downtown Breck (about 5-7 min drive) this place is perfect, Big deck, with great views. We had our morning coffee while watching a deer eat her breakfast just below us. Trail heads are just a couple hundred yards down the road or follow it the country road further to the Boreas Pass Road which will lead to some fantastic hikes above the tree line (Black Powder trail & Baker's Tank) It does live up to it's title of Mountain Adventure House!!

    Steve2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Hannah's place is the perfect getaway. It's a short drive up the mountain from downtown Breckenridge and has everything you need (and more). Communication was extremely timely and Hannah also gave us tips and ideas for things to do and see during our stay. Cannot recommend this place and host enough!

    Max2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Had a wonderful time at this charming AirBnB. Hobart, the cat, was so friendly and cute! Funny story, Hobart darted outside when we opened door so we were a little worried about leaving him outside since it's getting cold but we contacted the owners and they replied promptly via text to let us know he was fine and to just prop a window open and sure enough, Hobart came back inside a couple hours later on his own. Loved the location, what a value! I'll definitely look for this place again next time I head to Breck!

Fawn Haven Cabin a truly inspirational home near the North Fork of the South Platte River and Pike National Forest in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Located 45 minutes from Denver. Exterior camera system installed to allow adults to keep an eye on children playing on 2 acres (wilderness).
  • Awesome place to stay with family or friends. Denver is only an hour away so it’s very easy to drive into the city if needed. We much preferred to hangout at the cabin and enjoy the nature. Good hiking trails nearby too!

Welcome to our modern mountain home with incredible access to the outdoors, yet just 15 minutes to Evergreen (shops, restaurants) and 40 minutes to Denver. You'll love the views as you drive up the national scenic byway, Squaw Pass, from the Rockies on one side to Denver far below to the east. We are also 20 minutes away from Echo Mountain ski and tubing hill! Your room is a spacious downstairs guest suite, and includes the sharing of the other common areas of the home (kitchen, living room).
Your bedroom, attached private bathroom, and downstairs living room are on the basement level of our home. The space has been recently remodeled and is approximately 400sqft. You'll access the basement by coming in through our front door with your own key. Overall it is a three story home where the main floor has the living room, kitchen, dining room, and deck. Upstairs is our own bedroom and study. We do have two dogs and cats as you can see from the photos! Guests generally love playing with them, and we keep the pets out of your bedroom and bathroom. We are typically off to bed by 10pm, please respect the quiet hours :)
We are located in the neighborhood of Echo Hills, a small community of 100 homes on the outskirts of Evergreen. • My time at the Fireside Inn was incredible. For the price, I can't imagine a better location, people, or offered amenities. I highly recommend the optional breakfast with pancakes and the fluffiest scrambled eggs I've ever had.

  • What more could I ask for on a weekend in and out of Breckenridge for a wedding? Andy was my host throughout my time there. He and Niki worked hard to communicate directions on arrival late at night, as well as transportation, months before arrival. Their hospitality is delightful — it truly is English hospitality in the Rockies, and you’ll love the living space. For the price, the location cannot be best. It’s so close Main Street you’ll find yourself walking out on a whim. Andy was a great guide for a quick hike in the morning, pointing me up Baldy by the Sallie Barber mines. Thanks! Can’t wait to come back to Breck!

    Jonathan2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • There’s nothing negative I can say about these guys and my stay here. It’s absolutely amazing. Charming place with a homey feel. Andy and Nikki have made every effort to make me feel welcomed. Really cool memorabilia around the cozy and comfortable common area. Amenities like the hot tub and outdoor seating area put it over the top. I’ll definitely be coming back. Absolutely love it!!! Highly recommend

  • It's a rustic feeling cabin in a secluded town. The views are great. This is a wonderful place for getaway. There are plenty of outdoor activities in the area as well.

  • Randy’s cabin style cottage was a perfect secluded get away my girlfriend and I were looking for. The location is about 35-40 minutes from Breckenridge but is off the beaten path. The views of the snow cover mountains and hills were great. The cottage is quaint and comfortable. The antique iron fire place was the best element in the house. Find the location and checking in was a breeze. If you are looking for a quiet and affordable place to stay and take in the outdoors for skiing, hiking, or maybe even hunting, this is the spot.

  • We loved our stay in Como. It was the perfect place for our family. Our kids absolutely loved playing in the loft and being able to bring our dog is kind of a necessity for us. It is really a fun cabin with everything we needed. Como is kind of a cool historic ghost town with beautiful mountains all around. Can't get much better than that for our family. We were all sad we had to leave and wished we could have stayed longer.

We are a family-owned operated ranch located on 35-wooded acres in the Tarryall valley with 365 degree views of the best, most breathtaking mountain vistas in Colorado. We are minutes walk to world-class fishing, the Colorado Trail and Lost Park Wilderness, with hundreds more acres of woods and fields to explore. The area offers many advanced and novice hiking and horseback riding trails, along with 14,000 foot mountains to explore.
Owners live on the premises and the rental is a private basement suite with a private entry and a private deck, BBQ-grill, a porch swing, and comfortable patio furniture. The deck is enclosed for your pet's security. The suite includes a private bathroom with a soaker tub, a small kitchenette with a refrigerator large enough to accommodate snacks and microwaveable dinners. Also included is a large microwave, and a Keurig machine. We offer complimentary coffee (with creamer/sugar) various teas, water and soft drinks.
We live in a very rural area and amenities are very limited. The nearest town - Jefferson, is 10 miles from the cabin and it is very small. It includes a small market that offers a grill style breakfast and lunch menu. The town of Fairplay is 20 miles South, and they offer more choices for lunch and dinner.

Would give 10 stars if possible! Cristina, thank you so much for the stay!

Having a 4-wheel drive vehicle is a must if it is snowy but it was still easy to navigate! At night there are stars galore! The floors in the restroom are heated, and my pup loved it! All in all this was an amazing stay!

We hope you love our rustic 1 bedroom/1 bath cabin, as much as we do! The open floor plan makes it feel like a lot more room for you and a few friends or family with our large living room and comfortable memory foam queen pull out bed. The fireplace will heat up the cabin, while the big windows let the light in and allow you watch the wildlife from afar. With an acre around the cabin, there is not much noise or distraction for the peaceful moments.
Being only 20 minutes from town, but feeling like you are out in the woods is the best of both worlds! The community of Bailey is so quaint, but there is so much to explore in and around the city. If you need a day or night in at the cabin, the cable tv, wifi, dvd's, games, and potential wildlife activity will keep you occupied as well!
You will feel back in the woods at our cabin, but close enough to the city of Bailey, which has everything from sit down restaurant, to a brew house, hiking everywhere, and cute shopping stores to give quite the variety.
  • Peyton's Landing was a perfect retreat for us. So clean, well stocked, and beautiful. The cabin is just a quick jaunt up the hill from Denver and there couldn't be a better value. We were extremely impressed and will be back again to sit on the back patio and eat lunch looking out into the woods.

This cozy room has incredible access to everything you would want to do in Breckenridge. No need to drive, walk a block to the free bus stop and head into town, or walk up the street to the hiking paths. The room is on the small side, but it's all yours. King bed, a private entrance, mini fridge, microwave, and private bathroom, everything you'll need to get away for a few days. Also, we have kids, and we homeschool, so you WILL hear us (if we're home). Please do not book if this is an issue :)
Our lock-off is very private. King bed, food prep area with microwave, mini fridge, Keurig, small table with stools, the room has all you would need (although it is small) and remains to be cozy and comfortable. The parking spot is directly in front of the door to the room for convenience.
Locals neighborhood. Most everyone here lives and works in Breckenridge/Summit County. It's a great place to live and visit.

Our guest room boasts stunning views of Mts Evans and Bierstadt. We are close to both Evergreen and Conifer; each offers good food and fun. We find that when it comes to wildlife viewing, we see more here than when we go other places expecting to see them.
There are nice outside spaces. You’ll enjoy the views! As far a “kitchen”, we have coffee pot, dishes and silverware, mini-fridge, and microwave. There is not a stove or oven.
Our own little neighborhood has the Bistro at Marshdale. It's a three minute car drive from the home, and is a true bit of history. Dining and Happy Hours. Evergreen is noted for its quaint mountain vibe. The downtown has the Old Feel, but offers lots of amenities for visitors. RedRocks is 1/2 hour from our home. If you haven’t experienced it yet, that’s a must. Whether day-hiking the park or attending an evening concert, you’ll love it. Car-hiking around our area is excellent. We are situated close to both I70 and US 285. My personal favorite is 285 South through Bailey, Shawnee, Santa Maria and Grant, before finally going over Kenosha Pass (10,000 ft elevation) and into the most amazing sights of landscape. We can offer other car hikes, depending on your time allowances.
  • 5 stars all the way around! Evergreen is a beautiful town and perfect getaway destination! Linda and Dan were awesome hosts! They communicated everything we needed to know prior to arrival. My fiancée and I stayed for 3 nights and loved it. We had a couple of random needs, that they were able to accommodate! They were really friendly and very informative. I would stay again and will recommend to any friends headed to that area! Thank you Linda and Dan for making our stay easy and relaxing!

  • This place has an amazing view - you have clear line of sight to Mt. Evans. Linda & Dan are wonderful hosts, and their dog Navy is very friendly. I was glad to have my dog Rosy have a friend to play with while I was there! Evergreen is a really interesting and fun place...highly recommended A+

    Harish2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Dan are great hosts! Super communication and hospitality along with Beautiful views of Mt. Evans. The guest suite is just a short drive to downtown Evergreen or Conifer.

  • You’re the best, Linda! 😊

    Areta2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Dan’s place was perfect. We loved waking up to an amazing view. Location was great; accessible to highways and all that while still up in the mountains. They sent us instructions, directions and everything beforehand so we didn’t feel like we needed to ask how to get there and how things worked. We loved that our dogs could stay with us. Navy, their dog, is very friendly and cute.

  • Linda and Dan are some of the nicest people I’ve met

    Sebastian2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very beautiful location!

    Anastasia2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Linda, Dan, and Navy’s beautiful mountain home. It was so hard to leave! They are super kind people, going above and beyond - from inviting me to have brunch in their home after the huge snowstorm, to letting me use their snowshoes, and taking me snowshoeing on Thanksgiving morning. Their love and kindness is wonderful and I would have actually extended my stay if there was room- but others had already booked. I’d return in a second! The views are incredible up there, and the neighborhood is full of super friendly neighbors I met walking (snowshoeing actually!) around. The apartment is clean & comfortable with views of the pine trees and mts. Super safe and easy and quick to get into the downtown Evergreen and Lake and to Three Sisters Park, among other places. Or you can relax, watch the snow, and a Netflix or Amazon Prime movie or two 😃 in a blizzard! Thanks so much Linda, Dan, and Navy! Can’t wait to see you again soon. :-) Nicole

The community was very friendly and i made some good friends on the way 😊. They stay, people and the vibe makes this an amazing bnb. Would defensively visit again. PS. • This is an excellent, affordable, and cozy place to stay if you’re looking to explore Breckenridge or get some skiing done on the mountain. The location can’t be beat for the price, and the owners are extremely accommodating and friendly. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for a wonderful hostel stay, and I will plan on coming back again in the future.

  • Nikki was very accommodating at the Fireside Inn. It was a great place to stay for people that are making a quick stop through Breckenridge, Colorado. Niki had everything ready for me even with my late arrival and was very helpful with tips on places to go. I would definitely stay there again if I am ever in town.

  • This was a great place to stay! Very clean and homey feeling! Even though you share common spaces with other people, it does not feel this way at all. It is very clean and has great touches that make you feel very welcome! Our room had everything you would need: smart tv, humidifier, fan and even goodies to welcome us. The common spaces had everything you would need as well. Even separate towels if you want to use the hot tub that is available. The way to get in was very easy and even the door to your room has your own personal lock as well. Gail is very nice and was even there when we arrived to show us around the property. Would stay here again!
