On the outskirts of the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve, within a radius of about 30 km, you will find Lübeck, Wismar, Schwerin, the Baltic Sea beach, Ratzeburg and much more. Hamburg is 100 km away. In Rehna (about four kilometres away), there are several discount shops for groceries, a hardware store and a pharmacy.

BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Family-friendly vacation in Uhlehuus

The apartment is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1850. In 2012, we carefully awakened the Uhlehuus from its slumber and restored it sustainably. The apartment is located in the main house, where we also live, but is completely separated and forms a self-sufficient unit with its own entrance, and its own large terrace with garden. The spacious property is fenced. Your children and your four-legged friends can romp undisturbed and make friends with sheep and goats.
